Just what we needed.

We arrived looking forward to spending two relaxing weeks on the beach. Unfortunately, many of the Beach Front Villa units are still undergoing major repairs and renovations from Hurricane Ian. This was not only in our building but the adjacent Villa buildings. Also one note, the elevators in most of these buildings are totally out of commission due to water damage and will be for quite some time. Not a huge issue but could make for a tough time hauling luggage up two flights of stairs especially for anyone with mobility issues. We were greeted 7:30 each weekday morning with the sounds of construction trucks unloading in the parking lot and workers hauling equipment up the stairs which the bedroom faces. And work in the units started promptly at 8 AM each morning in the 2 adjacent units and also major construction in the unit above us. No sleeping in for sure. On the positive note the beach was great, the sunsets from the porch were incredible and the golf cart was very handy at getting around the local area. We also loved getting to observe a nesting Osprey pair raising their young right outside the lanai, and seeing dolphins swimming just off the beach each morning. Overall a great location but the construction was a detractor during our stay.

My husband and I stayed a couple nights and really enjoyed our time there. The view is just beautiful and the condo is nice. There is construction still, but more and more opening up. Loved the key lime pie at RC Otters, try it if you go, and of the course the view and the food from Mucky Duck is great! A nice walk down the beach! Thanks for a great stay and great communication!

Although the inside of the unit is a bit smaller than it appears in the pictures, there are two pools and the beach within steps and much closer than the look in the pictures. Was great to have access to a golf cart to explore captiva. Marcus was very responsive and the check-in process was very easy.

Wonderful place to stay for our annual Sanibel/Captiva vacation. Thankful to be returning to one of our favorite destinations. Loved the condo. Everything we needed. Close to the beach and restaurants etc. that are currently operational. Marcus was accessible, friendly and easy to communicate with. Excellent host. Will not hesitate to return to this condo. The condo had all the comforts of home that made our trip special. Very clean and had everything we needed for a day at the beach or a night in. We have stayed multiple times in this condo and as always it was awesome.

This was a wonderful place to stay right on the beach and very private. Marcus was very easy to work with and everything was just as described. We will definitely stay again.

My fiancé and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! Short distance away from food, the pool and the ocean! Loved the golf cart access!

The place was really great! The bedroom was comfy and living room had 2 great fold out couches. The pool is 20 steps away and the beach is 20 steps past that! I highly recommend staying here, and the golf cart was a fan fave as well! Morning beach run, then golf cart trip to Starbucks was a perfect way to start the day. Marcus was super responsive as well. TI noticed a prior review about the AC but it’s controlled with a normal thermostat and very easy to use. The unit stayed cool and it was 97 out : ) We are planning on coming back in the winter

Everything was awesome. The property and access to the beach were fantastic. Incredible sunsets every night.

Overall this property was very nice. It was in a great location on the South Seas Resort property. It is oceanfront with stunning views of the sunset on Captiva Island which are viewable from the nice screened in porch. The beach is a short walk from the condo building. The golf cart was a wonderful touch and allowed a more fun way to tour the rest of the south seas resort and "downtown" Captiva. Access to the restaurants was much easier with the golf cart! Marcus was easily accessible and responded quickly. The condo itself was as described. Recently renovated, comfortable beds with clean sheets. The murphy bed is a great idea! It was very clean and no bugs seen during our stay. A few thing that could have been better - the kitchen could use a few more small glasses and several of the kitchen instruments were rusted and needed to be replaced. Other than that, the kitchen seemed well appointed. My biggest complaint is the thermostat. I understand wanting to conserve energy and the cost of cooling a condo. However, the settings were quite extreme. During the day, the thermostat was set in the low 80s. Coming back from the beach after being out all down, it was quite warm in the condo. Overnight it was set in the high 70s (77). This made sleeping miserable. I would wake up each night sweating and would have to get up to set the thermostat down to a reasonable level (72-73). This really was my only complaint and would request the settings be reprogrammed prior to staying her again.

Great location & view of ocean. Golf cart was a plus. Disappointed the bikes were in disrepair & we were not able to use or rent the resort’s beach chairs & umbrella. GPS did not recognize the address; fortunately the resorts guard shack was staffed late at night & they were able to direct us to the unit.

The unit was very clean and the photos were accurate. The view was amazing. It was a short walk to the pool and beach. He had a golf cart available to use as well. Easy communication with the owner.

We’ve stayed at South Seas many times, switched units this trip and glad we did. The remodeled unit was very nice, perfect location to sunsets, pool, walking beach to restaurants. Unit was very clean and furnished with good linens.

The room was very clean and spacious...view fantastic, and extra bonus was the Osprey nest full of babies being cared for right out back! Thank you Marcus!

Nice property, great location. Property owner was very quick to respond with any questions we had while we were there. Never needed car once we got there. We could get around with the golf cart and bikes that were provided with the unit. if you have more than a couple of people it would be a little tight sharing 1 bathroom.

Everything was neat and tidy , golf cart was a bonus. Beautiful ocean views. Great mattress. Lots of towels.

My husband and I enjoyed our 5 night stay in this beautiful condo perfectly located in Captiva Island. The golf cart provided by the owner was so nice to get to and from dinner and the local market to grab some essentials. They also provide bikes but we chose the golf cart each time. Mucky Duck’s was our favorite food spot for both lunch and dinner, but we also enjoyed the Key Lime Bistro for breakfast one morning, Doc Ford’s was also amazing and The Bubble Room experience is a must-get the cheesecake!!! Our only complaint, and it is so minor, is the kitchen in the condo was a little ill equipped (needed scissors, and a few options for containers with lids to store the fruits we bought, more cups, coffee mugs, and plates would have prevented us from washing or running the dishwasher so empty and possibly just one time during our stay. But these are minor and would not prevent us from staying here again. The owner is very quick to respond and extremely accommodating!

Came for a short getaway with my family. Excellent location and very clean. Walking distance to the beach where beach chairs and umbrellas were available and provided for free. Highly recommend! Would stay again.

Villa was just as pictured on VRBO website. Unit had everything we needed for a beach stay, including Tommy Bahama beach chairs, umbrellas, shovel and beach towels. Owner was quick to respond to my two texts. We enjoyed the freshness of the interior and comfort of the bed.

We had an amazing time. Having the golf cart was a blast- watching the sunsets- enjoying the island, close to the beach and pools- the unit was beautiful and comfortable. Would highly recommend and would book again!
