Peaceful Mancos place was great. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck. It had all the amenities we wanted. We would recommend it and would stay there again.

A home away from home and Very clean

This was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Colorado. It was a pleasure staying on this property just outside of Durango. The property is amazing! A creek is just a few feet from the house to relax, reflect and unwind. Also on the property is a pond and beautiful trees that the owner welcomes you to walk around and enjoy. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay this cozy house is it!

We had a wonderful time. Loved sitting on the porch watching the donkey and mule. Comfortable beds and nice decor. Convenient location for ranging out to see Mesa Verde, Four Corners and Canyon of the ancients.

This property is located centrally to several attractions between Durango and Cortez. It is clean, comfortable and sits in a park-like setting complete with a small creek, a pond, and a hammock. The porch is wonderful for hanging out and just chillin'. Very close to the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park. We stayed four nights and would stay here again if ever in the area.

We were looking for a place in a centrally located area between Durango, Mesa Verde and Telluride. This place was just perfect. There is a bit of highway noise but not enough to be bothersome. The property is beautiful so we spent most of our time on the porch. Beds are comfy and kitchen was well equipped. We would certainly stay again.

Beautiful property! Nice place to relax. Quick trip to Mancos for groceries. The property was very clean. Beds very comfy! Only negative was traffic noise during the day, but it was quiet in the evening.

Convenient to Mancos and the surrounding area. Super property owners. Nice setting and area.

Cozy cottage. Wonderful for bird watchers and small property to take a walk. Only drawback is road noise and can be a little warm without air conditioning. Kitchen well stocked, beds are comfortable and very clean. Owner allowed me to use laundry facilities in main house, which I greatly appreciated.

I was looking for a place for my family to stay as we enjoyed the southwest part of Colorado. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the “Peaceful Mancos Hideaway.” The property owners were responsive to all or our questions. Our two boys enjoyed petting the horse, paddle boarding in the mini-lake, running around the vast open area, chilling out in the hammocks, and just being kids. My wife and I also enjoyed our time as we really could just relax!!! One of the best parts of the home was how centrally located it was to all of our activities – four corners, Mesa Verde, Canyon of the Ancients, Durango, etc.…. If you go, DO spend some time in the town of Mancos. There are good eats and very friendly people. If you are looking for a place to stay that is not a hotel and not around people and you like a peaceful place to put your feet up after a day of play, this is the spot.

We absolutely loved this property! The front porch view and surrounding grounds are lovely. The house was immaculate, kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfy. Internet was spotty at times but that isn't anything that can be controlled. The host was very helpful and answered any questions we had immediately. I would highly recommend.

We came to southwest Colorado to ride the train in Durango and explore Mesa Verde National Park. This property put us in the middle. It's a great location, was super clean and provided everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable!! Our 2 teenage boys enjoyed the paddle boards and peddleboat, and our entire family enjoyed the big yard. We couldn't have asked for more. Thanks for a great experience.

Great place for a ride around the mountains!

We were looking for a quiet place that allowed us to take our dogs and enjoy some rest-up time. This was just about perfect! This two-bedroom duplex was small, but comfortable and well- appointed. The surrounding property was delightful with lots of trees, an island surrounded by a beautiful pond and nearby livestock (a donkey and mule). Mancos is very close and provided great little shops featuring local artists. Mesa Verde is virtually right around the corner! Amazing! Cynthia was responsive when we had questions or concerns. So glad we chose this spot! We’d come back in a heartbeat!

My husband and I loved this place. The view from the porch was spectacular, the bed was very comfortable and there was an attention to the little things that make your stay comfortable. We took our dog who had a blast running on the green lawn. I would highly recommend this place.

My husband and I have been knocking off national parks during covid - and Mesa Verde was last on the list for the year. This place was PERFECT - location - privacy - and an amazing spot that was so peaceful we didn’t want to leave! Amazing spot - would return in a heat beat.

Renting the property was quite simple. We were very happy with where we stayed we were 4 Senior citizens with a combination of bad knees and backs, so we were very happy that there was only one step. The property is beautiful and very peaceful.

Very well kept and quaint house on a great piece of property with pond and running river. Secluded and quiet but very close to downtown Mancos. Very clean and well stocked with towels, bedding and cooking utensils. It was nice to sit out on the covered porch and listen to the river running by. Perfect for 2 to 4 people. Would definitely stay there again, 5 stars.
