I would definitely recommend this place is located in a great spot. Everything is walking distance, everyone was great and really nice to us. Customer services was great. Great location, and great communication. A Miriam is a really nice helpful lady.

Our host Miriam was awesome! She communicated prior to our arrival and was very responsive to us and even provided us with an iron when we requested one. She was friendly and helpful with recommendations and with getting a few items "fixed" on the property that were damaged when we arrived, including the toilet seat. The property is in the IDEAL spot. It is steps away from playa centro and short walks away from both the ferry and playa norte. Anything you need is literally 3-5 minutes away. It also has a nice balcony for people watching on the second floor where we stayed. The best thing about this property is its location...on the flip side, I really wish the owner would do some updates on the property to make it more modernized and esthetically pleasing. It could use a good coat of paint, some updated furniture and window dressings. It is just a bit drab, but we didn't spend too much time inside so it wasn't that big an issue. Just more pride in ownership would be great. Overall recommend this cute little condo.

The location was fantastic! It is within walking distance to ferry, bus line, beach, taco carts, bars, restaurants, and anything else you would need. Miriam greeted us when we arrived and was very helpful when we needed her for a minor issue.

I got my dates wrong and we arrived a day early. I was so worried that we wouldn’t have a place to stay but when we arrived we found Miriam cleaning and she welcomed us in. Actually. The whole neighborhood welcomed us as we walked down the street. Please, if you book this spot, you have to meet Tristian, the young shop owner across the street who helped us with directions, recommendations and more. When we originally arrived, Tristian said, “welcome to the neighborhood my friends!” This location is full of life and gives you a good look into the island locals. Excellent restaurants all around and super close to the beach. Miriam was so trustworthy too. I tried to pay her for the extra day and she insisted I talk to the owner, which I did and paid via VIRBO. Again, accommodating and trustworthy. We will be back!

Perfect location to all the shops and beaches! 2nd room smaller than it looks but if you need a a/c’d space for multiple travelers it’s perfect

Everything was in working order. There are 2 layers of security, the door to the whole building, and the apartment having codes for entry. Tristan at the shop across the street is very friendly.

Our stay was perfect. Great location. You would never know you are right in the middle of downtown!! Great way to have a cocktail and watch the craziness below you!

We absolutely loved this place. It was right in the center of everything. The walk to Playa del Norte was very doable. We like to stay in more “authentic” spots rather than all-inclusive and this fit the bill. The apartment gave us so much space and fit us great (we brought our own pack n play). The balcony is an added bonus as well. It was very clean and we loved communicating with Miriam as well. The king bed was very comfortable. There was space in the outside hallway to store our double stroller. 11/10 will absolutely return

We enjoyed our stay. I loved being in town and close to all the restaurants, vendors, and Norte Beach. Miriam was a great host. We will be back!

The apartment was perfect for my family! It was the perfect location to access the beach, restaurants, and the ferry. We didn't have to constantly buy bottled water because of the purified water on-site. The wifi was consistent and the beach towels were appreciated. The onsite staff was so friendly and helpful. The only hitch was she only spoke Spanish and we weren't fluent. But texts and Google translate helped in a pinch.

The property was the perfect place for my friends and I to stay. It’s location is very central and easy to walk to food, shopping, and the beach. The apartment itself was adorable. When we arrived they had someone there to show us the property, and already had a dispenser hooked up to purified water for drinking. They were very responsive, at one point there was an issue with the lock, they had someone out to look at it within the hour and a locksmith to fix it within the day. We all felt very safe and comfortable during our stay here. I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place to stay while on Isla Mujeres.

This property has a lot of potential. With a few upgrades and changes it could be great. Location is great and property is secure.

The three of us (retirees) still can’t get over having spent 5 days here (wish it had been longer). The owner Reginald was easy to contact even though he was in Europe, and Miriam was very responsive to our requests, which were minor. The apartment was comfortable and clean, there was plenty of coffee. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the morning watching the neighborhood wake up, and in the evening after enjoying wonderful meals in restaurants within an easy walk. In fact we walked everywhere, no transportation necessary, other than our legs. So relaxing and therapeutic. I highly recommend a stay at this apartment.

The owners was amazing to deal with. Extremely accommodating to our needs. He was quick to reply when we had a pressing concern. Very clean, well equipped and comfy!

My friend and I stayed for a week and had a lovely experience. Couple tips from our stay.... Master Bedroom A/C unit stopped working all together on day 2 of 7. The fan helped but definitely needed AC. Towels and bed sheets could be updated. We brought our own beach towels but the bathing towels could use an upgrade. The second bedroom with loft bed was a little misleading in the listing. Didn’t have anywhere to store clothing and no dresser. Kitchen area had a lot of ants and could use a bigger trash can. Each apartment should come with the broom and dustpan. We got ours from the hallway but wanted to make sure we kept sand out daily. We did really enjoy our stay and the on-site property manager was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!!

This apartment was so close to Playa Norte and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in the downtown area. Reginald was a great host and always replied to any questions I had within minutes. The housekeeper also was so nice and very friendly. I definitely will be back!!!

Landlord prompt in responses to questions; Adequate living quarters; if you are a light sleeper not a good apartment as it is on a busy corner and several bars in area - they do however provide earplugs; this was our second time on Isla and some amenities I did miss during this stay that we had provided before were foldable beach chairs, hair dryer, daily housekeeping to sweep up sand, take out bathroom trash and provide clean towels as needed - I would recommend this for this rental; in summary another great vacation in Isla!

This unit is in a great location and is very practical. Reginald and Miriam were very responsive. We loved the balcony. We are a family of four and rental worked out really well for us. Beware the weekend music from clubs downtown. The week nights were surprising quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

The condo was everything we expected. Clean, conveniently located to many restaurants and walking distance to the beach. Small glitch with the air conditioner on our first day was quickly remedied. Balcony with hammocks was a great place to hang out to relax or people watch.

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is amazing the water pressure is fabulous. The owner is so quick to respond to your questions. The beds are really comfortable just a great set up. Just beware iou are down town so it is noisy but I found the noise easy to drown out once you are used to it, but if you are a light sleeper it might be tougher. I personally think it’s still worth it.

The apartment is safe and centrally located. Close to North Beach as well as the walking street.

The apartment was ready when we arrived. Miriam was present and waiting to greet us and show us around the place. It was a short walk from the ferry and also a short walk to both playa centro and playa norte. Unfortunately there was a bit of seaweed at playa norte but centro was beautiful. The apartment had all the furnishings required. The beds were firm and comfortable. The showers had great water pressure.The kitchen was well appointed with cutlery and pots and pans and accommodated four around the table. The living room had seating for about 6. Reginald and Miriam were quick to rectify an air conditioning issue that arose. Although each room had fans the AC wasn't a necessity for October nights. WIFI was pretty good but not 100% reliable. This appears to be more a provider issue and not the residence issue. The soaker pool was refreshing and nice to sit around when returning from the beach. Spent Monday to Saturday (Oct.15-20) so only had 1 Friday night to contend with noise from local clubs. According to my wife and her sister the music played loudly til the early hours of Saturday morning. I'm a sound sleeper so will take their word for it. I would definitely recommend Casa Misy if planning to stay in Isla Mujeres.

It truly is “steps from the beach”...130 steps to be exact...we counted...LOL. The apartment was comfortable. Perfect for our needs. 2 beds with a loft in the second bedroom was awesome. The electronic locks on the gate and the door gave us peace of mind. (Although it was inconvenient when the batteries died). The lock box also helped us feel safe and secure. The location is awesome as nearly everything in the downtown area is just a block or two away. The staff worked hard to make sure our stay was awesome...even when the power went out island wide. They were also very accommodating when we had to book at the last minute due to a different property double booking us and not honoring our reservation. All in all...I would definitely recommend staying here.

Once again, this property is fantastic. It is a perfect getaway right in the heart of downtown. I love it and hope it's always there for us!

Someone was waiting to show me the place when I arrived. She gave me all the information that I needed, and the property was as advertised. I don't spend much time in a room when I'm on vacation, but it was a nice central base. We had a group of around 20 spread over different properties, and I think I won. No musty smell and extremely clean. Drinking water. Hot water. Beach towels. Even ice cube trays which was convenient. All these items were issues for others in the group, but not here. Thanks for helping to make a trip better.

We just got back from a fantastic stay at Reginald's apartment building. He was super easy to communicate with leading up to our arrival. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk with luggage from the boat and the directions were super simple. Once we arrived we fell in love with the area the apartment is in and the apartment itself. The living area is nice and spacious, there is an open kitchen that has a big fridge, water to use for cooking or brushing teeth, and plenty of cookware, plates, etc. The bedroom has a very large bed and the second bedroom a twin bed and another twin mezzanine. Both bedrooms have very nice bathrooms with showers. The shared terrace is the real star, it overlooks the colorful houses of the island and we would have breakfast and aperitif out there every day. There are hammocks and chairs and table so you have everything you need. We were within easy walking distance to all restaurants in the center and about 10 minutes from the beach on the left of the apartment and 5 from the one straight ahead. There is an ATM and grocery store near by, we ended up renting a golf car but just to explore the rest of the island. Everything you need is in walking distance from the apartment! I could not have asked for a better location. Definitely recommend, hope we will be back to the island soon!

Wonderful time and climate. People are all very friendly and helpful. Only issue is the noise that comes from the clubs down the street over the weekends-will wake you up and keep you awake for hours if you cannot block it out!
