Sandy and her team made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable. We really enjoy coming here and will continue to do so when we come to Puerto Vallarta!

Very nice property, easy access to all locations as long as you have the Uber app which made it very easy to get around. Only problem was water pump at house went out and didn’t have water for 24hrs so no toilets or shower our last full day there. But other than that great time at the beaches, restaurants and shops. Would do it again.

This was a hidden gem in Puerto Vallarta. My wife and i have been to Puerto Vallarta numerous times and have stayed at different Hotels and Condos but for us this was the best of the best. Maria the housekeeper/chef was awesome and treated us so well she felt like family. We will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Montaña. We normally stay in Zona Romantica, but wanted to try out having a whole house to ourselves instead of just a condo, but were a little worried about being a bit outside the main town in Conchas Chinas (esp. with our friend who is mobility-challenged). While the walk into town was not do-able for our friend, we had no issues with grabbing an Uber or a taxi (most of the time there was a taxi outside the Ochos Cascadas hotel next door). Fares into or from old town were usually 50~60 pesos and took about 5mins. As for the casa, it was just what we were hoping for and expecting. Well designed and decorated, with lots of space for 4 adults. Everything was very clean, and we received housekeeping services from the very friendly Maria every other day. We didn't have an opportunity to have Maria prepare a meal for us, but based on her welcome gift of homemade salsa and guacamole, I am sure one would not be disappointed. We really enjoyed all the different spaces we could hang out and relax, from the main pool area to the large living room and (my favourite) the balcony off the primary bedroom. You could have sun or shade any time of the day as you desired. The on-site support from Rigo and David at Admin Homes was great, from check-in to quickly taking care of any small questions/issues during our stay (eg connecting to WiFi, arranging transfer back to the airport, etc.). Overall, a great place to stay in PV!

Our stay at Casa Montaña was fabulous! The place is immaculate and beautiful. Maria was amazing - so welcoming, helpful and her breakfasts - delicious! The neighborhood is quiet and the pool is refreshing. We tried lots of Sandy’s restaurant recos and liked them all. Overall a fantastic stay.

The home has a great layout and the pool was perfect. It took about 30 to 40 minutes to walk to town. The short way is closed due to construction. Thank you for sharing your home with us Sandy. Great service with the management company.

Lovely, and architecturally superb, this is a wonderful place to stay. Management was very helpful and we loved the warm pool.

This is a great comfortable property for 4 people, with a friendly staff that keeps the place running (and come to the house very often!). Conchas Chinas gives you a more residential feel but be ready to uber/drive a lot to the city, as walking there means walking on the highway. As noted in another review, there's ongoing construction across the street so there's a lot of noise and dust (plus an eyesore). The ocean views are also spoiled by a gigantic antenna across the street - which the photos conveniently don't show. If you go, make sure you visit the Patio Azul bar across the street, they have terrific views.

This is a great property in all respects. Our bad luck was that a building across the street is under renovation, so we had loud noise- grinding, sawing, pounding, etc. throughout our stay. Part of the crew is living in the building while working, so not much let up in noise at any time.

Casa Montaña is comfortable and spacious and kept so clean by Maria and the gardener and pool cleaner. Maria is a warm generous person and goes above and beyond to make delicious meals. Communication with the property manager was quick and easy. The Casa is located a short distance from the centre of the city in a very hilly area so walking to tow isn’t easy but Uber arrives within minutes and costs $4-5

Beautiful property, great location, wonderful staff…. The list can go on and on! Honestly the pictures do not do this place justice. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful location, do not hesitate to book. The property managers were also great setting up the prepared meals and providing great communication.

Had a great time at Casa Montaña. A great little property. Very comfortable. The private pool is amazing. The balcony of the master bedroom has an amazing view. A great place to stay. We had arranged to have supplies and groceries at the property when we arrived, a service they provide as there is nothing really close to the Casa to grab water or soda or snacks. I had my requests in 2 months ahead of our stay. The Casa was not stocked and it took more than 24 hours to get supplies there. Also, sometimes the staff coming and going gets a little intrusive. If you book a massage thru the Casa, and you absolutely should, be sure to verify what time housekeeping will arrive. We were interrupted on two separate occasions as we booked massages at the same time as cleaning. Lesson learned. Also, they arrive early in the morning, so if you want to sleep past 9:00am, not happening every other day. Other than that. A great stay. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property was ok except no railings on the stairs. I fell about halfway down. Sprained knee we had to move to a Hotel with no stairs. The cook Marie was wonderful

I don't know where to begin. Perfection, Thoughtful, Relaxing. We just spent a month here and it was the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. EVERY expectation was met and more. From the bathrooms having ammenities that you may have forgot to pack to having a kitchen that's supplied with coffee tea and spices for at home cooking. The water in all taps are filtered and very clean - very rare and such a nice thing to have. There is a library of books and a drawer of board games. Every little thing has been considered for your stay. The view was beautiful and the pool was fantastic. Maria the Chef was the icing on the cake. She is so sweet and a skilled cook that can make you anything from BBQ ribs to coconut shrimp. Her Mexican dishes are the best we have ever had. Friendly and professional she was a pleasure to have around. It is a quiet location at night which is very important. The walk into town is fairly easy but you are encountering hills. A taxi into town cost 100 pesos most times. The owner Sandy has an amazing team. They are very caring about their guests and we would defiantly stay here again. Thank you Sandy and your team for an amazing stay. You ROCK!!!!

Great house for 2 couples. Clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool.

We had a perfect getaway at Casa Montaña! We opted for a round trip van from the airport through Admin Homes (the company who manages the villa). The driver was waiting for us upon arrival just outside the exit doors and took us promptly to the villa. We arrived at the casa around mid afternoon and were greeted to a house tour and a pitcher of margaritas! We opted to have lunch prepared at the casa, so once we put our bags in the room, enjoyed a delicious lunch of pollo quesadillas, fresh guacamole and salsas. We opted for two more meals prepared at the casa both of which were outstandingly prepared by Maria. The view of the bay from Casa Montaña is outstanding, especially from the balconies off of the two upstairs bedrooms. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool. Transportation to / from Playa Los Muertos was super easy via Taxi or Uber, but the walk to the beach is also quite nice, although the walk is along a steep cobblestone street, so likely not for everyone. Both Moisés and Michael from the management company were quite helpful throughout the trip. Overall, we had a great trip and will keep this place in mind for our future trips!

Wonderful experience. Very quiet ... not sure if due to lack of tourists but it was great. Everything we needed and the staff at Admin Homes were communicative and helpful. Even though the famous Mrs Flor was unavailable, Alma was superb. The Pool was delightful and we didn't lack for a thing. Thank you Sandy and staff

This is an incredibly beautiful place and the option of having in house service was very special. Flora was kind, professional and an amazing cook. The problem was that when we arrived, the owner was not expecting us and the place was under construction...not a condition to be rented. We stayed because we prepaid and couldn’t be sure that we would be refunded. The owner explained that she didn’t receive notice from VRBO, so wasn’t prepared. We were never offered our money back or a discount on the front or back end of the trip. The management company offered us a meal, but honestly, given the construction holes and rocks, as well as a non-functioning second bathroom, that wasn’t adequate compensation in my view. Even considering this disappointment, I would recommend this place for the beauty, the views and Flor’s incredible service. Just make sure the owner is prepared for you!!

Nice neighborhood ( at times a little noisy) good access to downtown restaurants, communication with Housekeeper could be a challenge but Google translator helped!

Super comfy, Flor is great, loved the pool. No wifi in the second bedroom was a bummer and the giant cell phone tower right in front of the place was quite a surprise. You do learn to ignore it eventually but we were shocked upon arrival to see it. Especially since not one review mentioned it. It does impact your view of the ocean.

We loved Casa Montana! We came for 10 days with two friends celebrating a 60th birthday. We could not have stayed in a more lovely villa. It was even nicer than the pictures. We really enjoyed sitting by the lovely pool enjoying the beautiful plants and trees. We were welcomed by Fernando and Flor with fresh quacamole and salsa (made by Flor). We had asked to have groceries stocked and everything was available and waiting for us. The bedrooms had beautiful views and we saw gorgeous sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. Flor is a treasure! She had fresh towels for us everyday and takes great care of the villa. Reynaldo of the management company checked in on us to a made sure we didn’t need anything. We would definitely come back to Casa Montana again! Thanks again to the team!

We love this location on the mountainside. Close enough to walk into the old town, but away from the bustle of the city. The old style villa is great, and having a private pool is wonderful.

Casa Montana was just as beautiful as it looked in the pictures. We felt totally at home. It was so great to come back after a day out to our private pool. We fell in love with Flor and she with us as we stumbled through the language barrier. The management company was very attentive and arranged a wonderful driver, Lalo to take us on adventures. This was one of our best vacations thanks to the warmth of Casa Montana and all those who make it special.

Casa Montana is a beautiful small villa. The property managers were very nice and helpful. Pick up from the airport with grocery shopping is a good option. We went to Costco and got all we needed for our stay. The good service and relaxed atmosphere made our vacation memorable.

We stayed here the end of Oct through Nov. 8. What a pleasure. The views were tremendous and the amenities were top notch. Everything was provided and Flor was wonderful. There was construction across the street but it did not in any way detract from our enjoyment of the house. We sat at and in the pool reading and enjoying the outdoors without a noise issue as mentioned by other reviews. Cabs located across the street when we didn't want to walk to the bus stop.Old town easy to get to as well as the Malecon. The housekeeper Flor was very sweet and had guac and Margaritas ready for us on arrival! Everything about this rental was wonderful. We can't say enough about how great and comfortable it was. Oh did I mention how close to the beach as well! It was great to enjoy our mornings,get ready and go out for the day and come back for great sunsets and fireworks,and a swim in the pool. The tile manufacturer across the street from the house was very very noisy. We couldn’t enjoy the house or the pool during the day. Some nights they worked till 8 o’clock. If we would have know this we would have never stayed there. Also construction across the street and beside the tile company. Constant banging all day.

Lovely and authentic experience ! Flor the chef was a love! Wish we had known she was on vacation part of our stay as we would have enjoyed that option more often.Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great place for a relaxing 10 days in Puerto Vallarta. Almost no reason to leave the property. Flora was fantastic and made the best meals for us during our stay. Definitely planning our next vacation at Villa Montaña!

We had the perfect little getaway at Casa Montana. The property was very clean, well maintained and the location was perfect. The house is just as described and the views are amazing! Alex checked us in and he is very customer service oriented. We texted him a couple of times during our stay and he always responded within minutes. Flor is very sweet and maintained the house cleaned daily. Definitely recommend Casa Montana for your visit to Puerto Vallarta.
