If you want to escape city life this property is our recommendation. Close to civilization but peaceful and relaxing. Spacious house, place for groups and big families. We realy had very relaxing time.

Thanks for a lovely getaway! The house was nice and cozy but at the same time, plenty of room for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves too! The Booze ball table was a real hit! Our mixed group of musician friends loved the fact that we could each get our own room with space to have some pre-gig practice in their large living / dining room without affecting neighbours. Note to owners… the septic system was tad squiffy & might require attention… adjacent to the parking spaces.

Place was perfect for a large family group such as ours. Loads of space. Fully equipped kitchens, laundry, lots of games and toys. Shame about the condition of a couple of beds and BBQ.

A lovely clean property with plenty of room for our extended family where we made some special memories. Will be back for sure.

This place was so perfect for our extended family! 3 living areas meant that the children had their space and the adults had theirs. Two kitchens was a great for those of us with food allergies. Plenty of bedrooms, beds and a well equiped kitchen. Beautiful views from upstairs, a great DVD collection upstairs and Netflix downstairs. 5 mins drive to the beach and the place was lovely and clean. One thing to note is there is only one freezer so don't bring a heap of bulk frozen food like we did 😂 plenty of fridge space though!

Good place, was as advertised and lots of room for our family. Foosball table was nice. Only downside is that some mattresses weren't in good condition.

Seven of us - a writers' group - stayed 4 nights. Wonderful retreat, quiet, scenic, lots of space. House was just as advertised.

Awesome house, very spacious and clean! The kitchen had everything you could need, it was very well equip to cater to a big group. Also loved the two seperate livings areas.

This is a great property for a group. The three living areas mean that people can do different activities simultaneously- watch TV, work on puzzles, relax by the fire, watch a movie, play games . It is very quiet. It is less than 10 minutes from Mangawhai Heads township and the same to the ocean beach.

Had the entire family stay, 12 of us comfortably shared the many spaces. Lovely and quiet, everything we needed in terms of furnishings and kitchen ware. Location was excellent. Thanks muchly!

The property was very nice and comfortable and close enough to the town. one or two small maintenance issues but nothing that detracted from having an enjoyable weekend away.

What an amazing space, so convenient for 2 large families with room to spare. Lovely location, only a few minutes away from all the sites but so quiet and secluded.

A group of us came together to spend a relaxing girls weekend away. We enjoyed our stay very much, the house was very comfortable and easily accommodated all six of us. A well equipped home away from home!

was great that the kids, big and small could make as much noise as they wanted. house great for large group and trampoline and games were good as the weather was not that great.

Enjoy the peace and quite or the bush, in a fabulous part of New Zealand. Great place to get away from it all but close enough to the beach.

Amazing property with plenty of space to spread out for an extended family getaway! We had 4 different couples/families coming together and never felt cramped. High quality house with easy communication. The foosball table was a massive hit! While there wasn't much around the house, there were plenty of beaches and such a short drive away. We'll be back for sure!

Perfect spot for a family get away! Plenty of space for everybody to spread out. The wood fire made for a cozy feel and the kids loved the foosball table. Short drive to the beach. Would recommend.
