This apartment in Pommard was a wonderful find and we had a great stay. The place is spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. It was very easy to feel "at home" here. There's a boulangerie that's little more than a block away and some excellent restaurants nearby. Beaune is a short drive away, although note that it's likely not close enough for you to want to walk there and back on a daily basis. A car is warranted if you plan to travel outside the village. The only real challenge of note has to do with the wifi - but it only applies if (a) you intend to work from the apartment, and (b) you need to make video calls. For video conferencing, we found the wifi speed to be inadequate. However, this was easily fixed by visiting the Orange store in Beaune and purchasing a mifi device (we bought an Airbox 4G+). Although it was a bit of added expense, it was well worth it to stay at this great apartment. It also completely addressed our internet challenge. Finally, we have to say that the property manager/owner was incredibly responsive and helpful, both prior to our arrival and during our stay. He kept in touch and made sure that we had what we needed for our time there to be pleasant. We would book here again without hesitation!

There’s no need for me to repeat the fantastic reviews everyone else has written about this beautiful and clean accommodation. Instead, I would like to focus on the very friendly, informative and quick response I always received from the owner. This was very much appreciated! Then as soon as you arrive you immediately relax. It was clear how much thought had gone in to making the guests’ stay as comfortable as possible. In fact, we extended our stay to be longer than originally planned! You also know when you have had an incredible time because you cannot wait to come back again! It was superb. Thank you Frederic.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment situated in the pretty village of Pommard, surrounded by vineyards. The apartment was very well furnished and equipped - with high quality bed linen. It had everything you would need to ensure a perfect holiday. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit this part of Burgundy.

We had a lovely time. Property well appointed and secured behind gates. Could leave our bicycle in the courtyard. Great cycle route from there.

We loved our stay here- our hosts were helpful, the town -quiet. And of course the wine was fantastic! The house is beautifully equipped and a peaceful retreat!

Thank you for having us in your wonderful apartment. Despite on and off rain, our stay could not have been better. Even our two kids were happy to stay in, read, and play board games. Pommard is lovely— great walks in the vineyards, and Beaune is really a perfect town for a short vacation with so so many great places to eat and drink and so much to see. The trip really could not have been better. I have a feeling we‘ll be back sooner than later (if you‘ll have us again!).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home. It was very tastefully decorated and included everything we needed. It was a large space so the 4 of us could relax. A great location for touring the Burgundy countryside. So close to many outstanding wineries. We were happy to come back at the end of our day of touring and unwind in your comfortable home. A must place to stay for exploring the Beaune countryside.

The apartment is very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The bedding is of high quality and the furnishings and artwork are quite interesting. The kitchen is bright and well equipped. Communication with the manager and the owners was timely and pleasant. I would happily return to this apartment.

We stayed in 3 places while in France and this one number 1! Wonderful, comfortable home located in a small village within walking distance (about 1.5 miles) of Beaune. Chateaux Pommard was our best wine tasting EVER and is a block down the road. We are looking forward to returning, but this time we will stay for a full week of relaxing and enjoying great wine.

Had a lovely stay at this charming property in Burgundy. The unit is well furnished and very well stocked with everything you could want for a short stay. The 'Gite Book' is a hive of useful information and shows the attention to detail the owners have put into the property. I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay around Beaune

This apartment is located in the small village of Pommard. It is very comfortably updated and furnished beautifully. We were able to walk to restaurants, and to the little bakery right around the corner. The bedroom is upstairs from the living area, which can tend to make it warm in the summer months. We were there in June, but we were able to manage well with the 2 fans that are furnished. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who can easily manage stairs and enjoys being in a pastoral village setting.

The apt was quiet but so was the village! The info booklet was very useful . Great to have wi fi . So close to busy Beaume and to explore surrounding villages. Loved to have washing machine and a sharp bead knife. Just superb thankyou Guillot Family. Such history with your family.

Large space, good kitchen with big windows, very quiet village with an amazing restaurant Aupres du Cloche top quality dining, super service, do not rush your meal, great wine list. Pommard Chateau is a good visit and tour / tasting, fabulous history.

Fantastic. But be aware the bathroom on second level and bedrooms at third level if that matters to anyone. We loved this apartment and plan on returning next year. A true Home Away From Home!

Beautiful and well-appointed apartment. Unfortunately the weather was unusually hot for this time period in late August. Since there are no air conditioners in the bedrooms, we were forced to sleep in the downstairs area and bought an extra fan to survive the nights. At this price point for this rental property, we strongly suggest that the owner invest in two air conditioners for the upstairs bedrooms, and only then would we consider returning here in the future.

Property is as advertised, very spacious bright and clean. Overall rating is 5 but a couple of minor improvements would be great. Location is very convenient and secure. This is a perfect place to cycle out of for numerous rides. Recommendations: 1) Espresso maker is badly needed as the coffee maker is not quality. You will not find a good coffee in Pommard and did not find one in Beaune. 2) As this area is a foodie's heaven a few more cooking utensils would be very much appreciated - salad spinner, cheese slicer, etc... 3) Common outdoor area could use a charcoal grill

Die 2-stöckige Wohnung ist wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtet mit vielen persönlichen Gegenständen der Besitzer, grosse Zimmer, eine lichtdurchflutete Küche, sämtliche Apparate wie Backofen, Toaster, Geschirrspül- und Waschmaschine sowie Mikrowelle vorhanden. Das Apartment war sehr sauber. Wir würden diese Wohnung jederzeit weiter empfehlen. Vielen Dank an die Besitzer, dass sie ihre Wohnung anderen Leuten zur Verfügung stellen. Very clean, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped apartment in Pommard. The owner's artwork and memorabilia throughout the apartment were wonderful and make you feel like you are in someone's home, not just the usual Ikea showroom. Although the lounge is large and comfortable enough, we particularly enjoyed sitting and cooking in the large kitchen with its huge windows that let in lots of light. Kitchen was well-equipped for our needs, including morning coffee. Nice, too, that all of the manuals/instructions are available for someone not used to European appliances. All arrangements were easy to make via email with Rodney. Since we were arriving by car from Switzerland, we were glad to have a lockbox for the key and not have to meet someone at an exact time to let us in (or to check us out). We had reserved bicycles from Bourgogne Randonees (be forewarned that they often are sold out, particularly in September and October), so spent several days exploring by bicycle. Lots of small roads to bike on, not just the marked trail through the vineyards. For dinner out, we like Le Terroir in Santenay. Corinne is a delight. Our week went quickly and we hope to return next year to this apartment to do the many things that we didn't have time to do (and sample more wine, of course). We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to be in one of the small villages in the Cote de Beaune.

As the other reviews have suggested, this is an outstanding place to stay. Extremely comfortable, pleasant, and well equipped; it is an ideal base from which to explore the Cote de Beaune. We used it as a base for exploring the Cote d’Or for a week this past November and loved coming home each evening to relax and enjoy our culinary and viniferous finds. The lovely village of Pommard is large enough to provide places to shop and fine restaurants; and it is small enough for them all to be within easy walking distance. The property manager was immediately responsive when we had a question about the electrical system. We did find that the internet was of limited availability, but we understand that this was to be addressed. You might wish to check and determine the current situation.

This is really a top class apartment. Spacious, very well equipped, clean and comfortable for 4 persons. Narrow car park on court yard, however, maximum of safety is guaranteed. Pity that there is no small garden or alternative place to sit outside and enjoy surroundings. Very good central located spot to visit the real heart of Burgundy's cotes de Nuits and Beaune. Also documentation impeccable. Simply great!
