We are 4 ski friends with non-ski partners. Perhaps the house was larger than we needed, but we enjoyed every inch of it. The house is spacious with high ceilings and lots of glass. We watched the sunrise over the mountains from the dining room window. The hot tub is perfect, with a handy supply of towels and flip-flops right by the back door. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking up a feast - however, it is 14 miles to town, so we did our shopping before arriving and were lucky to find some olive oil at the house. There is a well-stocked grocery store at the base of the mountain for supplemental purchases. Garage parking is a plus, especially since it snowed during our week. My only caution is that the bedrooms are not equally sized (perhaps to be expected): the master is huge and luxurious, and has the only ensuite bathroom. Two rooms include walk-in closets and two rooms do not have any closets. Also, Kicking Horse does not run the Pioneer lift often, so the ski back to the house at the end of the day requires a trip to the top.... you have to save some energy for your last run!

The house was a wonderful base for going up the mountain and other Golden activities. It is fitted out with anything you might need.

We had a wonderful family ski holiday over Christmas. Our family of 7 adults had plenty of room and all couples had their own bathroom! The location was fabulous! Right on a ski out from the hill and even could cross county ski a few steps from the door. The property was all that we had expected and more!

We had a great time staying at the property. Beautiful house with enough room for our large family. Ping pong table was a hit with adults and kids alike. Clean, cozy and overall wonderful.

We truly had a great escape at this house for a family ski holiday! The beds are comfy and the house was well supplied with everything we could possibly imagine. We skied to our door and the snow is incredible. The only thing I would have done differently was buy a lift pass for just the quad chair for myself and my 5 year old. A beautiful green ski hill for the children and the learning to ski.

Spacious home with lots of room for everyone. An odd guest room which was an office converted it does not leave much room for privacy. Other than that, we only downfall was a late check in at 5pm then check out is 10am and with the very high nightly rate you really don't get the opportunity to enjoy the property for a long period of time and it feels that those could be adjusted as others in the community have different hours ... Overall great location to enjoy the beautiful ski resort.

Great house, stunning location.

Thanks for an excellent time in your very well equipped home. Our family had the best getaway because we could all stay in the same home and eat and visit together but sleep separately and very well. We did not want for anything and the details were appreciated starting with the clear instructions so we knew where everything was and did not miss any playoff hockey figuring out the TVs (which are in every bedroom). It is right down to labels on all the light switches - just makes things simple for visitors. Even a high chair for the grandkids was in the home and most appreciated. Slippers at the door for inside the house and even flip flops for wearing out to the hot tub are further thoughtful details that add to a warming stay. As a host Gabe was great to work with and very accommodating. Thanks again for everything and we would recommend this home and host to anyone.

Loved the location of this house! It also had fun entertainment with ping pong and air hockey and lots of room for multiple families to stay comfortably.

this house was everything we had hoped. We had 6 guys, with plenty of room to spread out. the hot tub was a welcomed relaxing finish to the day after riding KH, after Heli with Purcell, and the snowmobiling was excellent. the house allowed us to ski in and out, and was only a minute from the Heli and snowmobiles... definitely stay in this house!

This was a great house, perfect location! Had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing, family Vacation!

The house was wonderful, livable and very convenient. There was a beautiful view of the mountains from the kitchen at sunrise. It was an easy walk to the center of the Kicking Horse Resort, and the cat track down to the gondola is a short climb from the back door. Ideal for skiing and I am sure would be lovely in the summer time too. I particularly like that basic kitchen supplies, spices, condiments etc. are stocked in the kitchen. We will be back.

Great Spot, the home was just as described. Location is fabulous, close ski/walk to gondola, close to nordic trails as well.

We were there for a family weekend in February 2019, and the house was fabulous. Loved the in-floor heating. Great location - easy ski access in and out and an easy 15 min walk down to the base for shopping or coffee. The hot tub was great at the end of the day. The house was well-stocked and had more than enough space for us all to hang out. The ping pong table was a hit. Garage made it easy for unloading ski gear and lots of storage as well. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy Kicking Horse.

The stay was awesome! We had incredible weather with warm temperatures and decent snow. Location is great for ski in and ski out and was easy for us to stop at lunch for a bowl of soup and a sandwich and then head back out. Some comments from my group: 1) The in floor heating was excellent especially with the individual room controls. 2) Very clean and well kept 3) Big kitchen was nice as we could all sit as a group to eat supper together 4) The bbq is first classs and a good size so we could cook everything at once All in all a great stay and would certainly stay here again.

We got to Kicking Horse Ski Resort on New Years Day and our check in was flawless. So easy to get to and check-in directions were exactly as indicated. Garage made it easy for unloading ski gear and lots of storage for it as well. The house was more than we expected. Very spacious and a great place to unwind after a day of skiing. Hot tub was very clean and conveniently located for getting in and out of. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms were a good size... the master is very large. The house is located perfectly for ski in/ski out. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to ski Kicking Horse.

We just spent 3 nights on a summer hiking expedition in the property and were totally satisfied with all aspects. We had 10 participants and all of us found the accommodation comfortable. The general areas are spacious. The property is well equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay and management is very accommodating. Many thanks Gabe.

Beautiful place!!!!

Our group of five adults and four kids (age 7 to 17) all loved this house. The layout was perfect for more than one family and there was ample space in all the main areas for everyone to have their own space. We found the house to be clean, well stocked and simply beautiful. Our emails, calls and texts to the owner were all answered quickly and professionally. We loved this house and the area so much we plan to return again next year!
