For my 60th Birthday, all I wanted was my 3 adult children and partners to re connect and have quality family time. YOUR HOME WAS PERFECT! WE cooked together, played twister, boardgames, laughed and chatted.. cold outside but open fire added exactly what I wanted ... Will definitely be back

We loved staying at this property for a mother-and-daughter catch-up.
It was very cozy and homely. The fire was set and ready to light, which was a lovely touch in the cold weather.
I would definitely recommend this property for family groups.

Great home to relax

We had an amazing time. We wanted a place close to town with an open fire and easy access. Your place had all of that and was warm and cosy from the minute we arrived. The view of the town was a joy to start and finish the day with. I hope we have an opportunity to return sometime.

Winter Getaway
We’ve just had the best week in Daylesford staying at Jesmondene. What a great location, easy walk to markets, shops, restaurants, playground, and lake.
Andy touched base almost immediately to check we were ok and to let us know of extra wood for the fire. Although the house was very warm with the ducted heated system, even on the frosty mornings!!!!
Our family ranging from 3 to 69 years old plus a dog were all well catered for and had a relaxing stay.
Thank you, we only have great things to say, can’t wait to visit again.

Impolite landlord
first night used the barbecute stove but cooked half way no more gas. We used more half an hour try to keep in touch the landlord . Finally the landlord reply said have not got the gas you can use the kitchen , it is not a big deal and no need to call him so many time. The other day the landlords came and still want to argue about it. Spoil the trip

Fabulous views and cozy home
Best things about the property were
a) its ease of access to town centre even on foot (5 mins walk from restaurants and cafes) and
b) views from the front deck overlooking the whole town
c) it had two living rooms. One of living room setting was perfect for the adults (adjoining the kitchen and front deck with views) and other one was perfect for the kids with a bedroom, dining, TV room to themselves.
We were two families doing a weekend outing together and enjoyed everything.
Minor thing about the cleanliness- It was good overall but bed side tables were dusty.

Great Family Holiday Home
The property was situated in a great location, close to the town. It had all the amenities and Andy was very prompt in replying to our queries. Although we noticed the floors were very dusty and only the main areas were vacuumed . All in all we had a great time.

House with A View
One of the best views in Daylesford coupled with a very appealing and comfortable house to stay in. A couple of minutes walk to the main street in town. Excellent.

Heating, cooling and even wood for a fire if we desired. Beautiful decor, floorboards, Large front deck with lounge which adds another relaxing space. Happy stay at Jesmondene
Our few days at Jesmondene were very happy ones with old friends for our annual get-together. The house was very comfortable with plenty of space and very good facilities in a convenient location. Lovely hot showers! Would be happy to stay again and recommend to others.

Fantastic pet friendly accommodation
Two couples, two children and one dog stayed here and found this home to be perfect. Comfortable, clean and very spacious, it has plenty of charm but with modern luxuries. Gorgeous views across the township to wombat hill, great secure garden for the dog and all in all a great spot. Thanks for having us, we hope to come back again!

A great house and was perfect for our family Christmas get together. Good safe yard for dogs
It was good except we nearly missed out on getting it as we did not receive a reminder when the second payment was due. We were away overseas and missed the 2nd payment date by 3 days and the booking was cancelled. Just luck no one had booked as we would have had no house for a huge family Christmas reunion and lost the deposit.
Can I suggest always sending reminders

Fantastic girls weekend away
Jesmondene is a stunning place to spend a cosy weekend even in the peak of winter!
We loved relaxing by the fire and knowing we were only a 3 min walk into town for coffee was outstanding,
The house is well set up and stocked for a perfect vacation!

Perfect Location
This house was located right in the heart of Daylesford - the view from the front lounge & deck looks out at Vincent Street. There were 6 of us staying and there was certainly stacks of room. We loved that the fireplace was all perfectly laid out and just needed a match to get it going. We had our dog with us and the back area was fully fenced and safe for him to wander around. Great base for heading out and exploring this wonderful area.

Daylesford getaway
spent a couple of days with friends - this was the best house. Warm and cozy, really clean, loads of room, easy 2 minute walk to the main centre - perfect couldn't have been better. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend for a great stay in beautiful Daylesford.

The property was excellent for our needs .It was only minutes from the centre of town. Beds were very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the coonara fire.

Fantastic house and location!!!
Had a wonderful stay over Christmas with family. Jesmondene is a wonderfully appointed house with plenty of space for indoor and outdoor relaxation, location is perfect a beautiful outlook of Daylesford from the front deck. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, Daylesford Lake and market. Andy was very accomodating of our requests and would highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay in Daylesford.

Great property
This property was great and is in an awesome location, very spacious and clean and overall we were mostly happy. One thing that could have been better was the level of communication between the host Andy and myself. Andy let me know prior to my arrival that the wifi was not working but had been fixed but when we arrived the wifi was still not working. After a couple of back and forth texts on the first night I messaged Andy again the next day and received no reply which I found a little disappointing. Overall we paid full price for a property that advertised to have wifi but we did not receive it and thus the people I was with, who were from overseas, could not access wifi which was an inconvenience. This is the only improvement that could have been made on an otherwise great weekend.

Fantastic. Great location, lovely relaxed vibe.
Big house with plenty of room to spread out. Gorgeous flowers(roses) in the garden, timber floors, leather lounges, enormous shower roses, comfortable beds, great views across daylesford, large verandah, large covered outdoor area, all combine to create a house which you can relax in. The shops are just around the cnr and the lake is at the end of the street.

Beautiful house, great place to stay and super close to the Main Street etc.
We stayed at Jesmondene with two families of four. We had plenty of room for everyone and had everything in the house we could possibly need.
With two living rooms we were able to use one for the grown ups and one for the kids to escape to and spread themselves out.
Bedrooms were super comfy and the fireplace was a delight for the cooler evenings and mornings.
The outdoor bbq area was a winner aswell while the kids rolled around in the backyard.
Such a fantastic place to stay and we loved it.

Very comfortable and well equipped home away from home with great living areas.
Incredible well equipped house with two separate living areas making it perfect for multiple groups. Great wood fire in main northerly aspect lounge room as well as ducted floor heating throughout and electric blankets on all the beds which were super comfortable. Fabulous spa bath in the master suite which opens out onto the front deck. Best of all such an easy stroll to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend.

Weekend Away
A group of 6 ladies have recently spent a long weekend staying in this great home. There was plenty of room for us all where we were happy to spend time relaxing in the lounge in front of the wood fire . The house had everything you needed and was in walking distance to the shops and Main Street . A great place to stay

Comfortable, spacious and great location!
Jesmondene is surprisingly spacious and great for families with two living and dining areas, two beautiful bathrooms, three bedrooms, a well equipped laundry and three toilets! The ducted heating and wood fire kept the main part of the house nice and warm, which was very welcome given how cold it was outside.

My third stay at Jesmondene, I just love it here. The fire was set up and ready to light when I arrived on Friday night. A special touch that was greatly appreciated.
The house is looking beautiful with new linen and it really has everything you need and more😀. The spa bath is divine!
It is so peaceful and relaxing here. I’m already planning when I can come back.

We visited this house in winter and what a delight when we arrived in the dark to a lit up entrance. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived also due to the automatic ducted heating.
The home was lovely and clean with plenty of space for everyone, the 2 living rooms great for spending time away from everyone. The wifi was perfect for our teenage children....no complaints there! The linen was of a high quality which was nice. Bathrooms amazing. We didn't take our dogs this time but will next time as the yard so secure and large enough for bigger dogs. Super quiet area for sleep ins. So close to township for dinner out and supermarket just around the corner. Loved it and highly recommend Jesomdene. Will stay again.

Fantastic place for a family or group of friends to enjoy Daylesford and surrounds. Central heating and fireplace make it great for a winter getaway. Friendly host and beautiful house, would definitely stay again!

The property was very suitable for our multi- generational group. Football followers were able to watch World Cup without disturbing the rest oof us as there were two tv areas. We really enjoyed our stay.
