Stayed at the Monaaray Fun House for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. The property has everything you need along with some basic supplies and appreciated the welcome chocolates. Very modern and when the property includes things like heated towel rack, ice maker, home theatre system and half a dozen pinball machines, you.know its going to be a great stay. Property was quiet and easy to access. Would definitely return next time I'm staying in Hobart. Highly recommend with no negatives to mention.

My son and i have had a wonderful stay.He thoroughly enjoyed all the pinball spaceinvaders air hockey games.And i enjoyed the lovely big bath.The location was really great as it was very central to everywhere we went.
I would highly recommended this place and would stay here again.

Easy to get to and well located for sightseeing. Clean, well laid out and well equipped. Tony had turned on the heaters, so the whole place was lovely and warm. The fridge was stocked with a welcome package and my daughter loved the coffee machine. The teenager loved all the games and the 9 year old wore out the wii. I even managed to listen to some favourites on the jukebox. Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space to allow for individual privacy. Spending the evenings as a family watching the big screen was great fun. The only downer for us was having to leave!! We highly recommend this accommodation.

Clean, well-provisioned and FUN!
The house was so awesome we barely wanted to venture out! Scrupulously clean, generous breakfast supplies (including coffee beans), good bedding, great showers... we felt comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. Would definitely book again. Thanks Tony :)

Fantastic property
No faults with this property. We loved everything about it. 2 nights was not enough. Beds we so comfortable, pinballs and other activities were a hit, as was the coffee machine. Would stay again, but for longer next time.

Great place to stay for a family
This was a great property to stay for a family. We were there for national mountain bike champs out in Maydena so werent at the property a lot but my son loved the pinball machines and computer games each night! The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived, the beds were clean and comfortable, the kitchen was also well stocked. Will definitely go back when we have more time to utilise the movie side of the home!

Lots of space, perfect for a family
The place was clean and spacious, and Tony, the host, was prompt in his communication. He also went above and beyond expectations when our daughter had forgotten something at his house. For what we were doing, the location was a bit removed (we ended up changing plans and spent most of our time near the CBD). This may not be an issue if you don't have a baby to work around like we do. The gaming and movie amenities are fun and a unique touch even though we didn't end of taking advantage of all of them.

Disney land house
Had the best two nights at this place. My child has named it the Disney land house 😁 he very much did not want to leave and I must say it was hard for the adults to leave also.

Lovely, clean home with great facilities. Central position for our stay and close to shops. Great fish and chips around the corner. Amazing movie projector with surround sound. Tony is a great host.

This house is better than the pictures shown
We loved this house ( we r a family with 4 teenage kids) It is so much better than the pictures show. It is modern clean and fun. It has all you could want in a house and more.
The kids loved the pin ball machines ( all free) and the table tennis table was fun for the whole family. The projector TV was also a hit!
The house was very tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfy.
There is a BIG deck at the back of the house that was in sun for most of the day.
The house is an easy drive ( less than 10mins) to Hobart and a 2 min drive to local supermarkets ( including woolies)
This house was the perfect end to our Tassie holiday. If we visit Hobart again we would definitely stay in this house

Good base for family to explore
After 2 weeks travelling around Tasmania it was a great spot to stop and relax. Good spot to still explore Hobart, Richmond and mount field national park. Shops short drive away for supply’s and then relaxing at the house. Kids and bigger kids loved and pinball and arcade game. Flashback to when I was a kid. Property was as described and tony was excellent to deal with.

Amazing accommodation with plenty to do
Tony's house was amazing. The property is an attraction by itself as there were plenty to watch, play and even exercise in the house. Tony provided very thoughtful touches such as turning on the heaters before our arrival, providing breakfast, etc. Highly recommended, would stay again if I head back to Tasmania!

Warm house for winter
The house is very warm and very clean. Our main issue was the inability to open bedroom windows as they were locked by owner. Very stuffy at night. Also all the “toys” in one room which can make it very noisy. However they are a lot of fun!
