really central location, staff was really helpful. we got great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. breakfast was really delicious, many options and all really fresh and delicious. room was nice and very clean.

The host Niccolo was great! Very helpful regarding parking and even booked a dinner reservation for us that we thoroughly enjoyed. He also prepared a nice breakfast for us which was brought to our room in the morning. The apartment was modern, efficient and walkable to all the sights. The apartment was very clean but the shower did smell slightly of mildew

The property is easy to find with ample parking options close by. Niccolò was very welcoming, available, and professional. The room was immaculately clean. The space was modern with lots of natural light from the large window (with blackout blinds). The shower has excellent water pressure. The A/C is very powerful. I am a very light sleeper, and I had absolutely no trouble here. Would book again without hesitation.

We were warmly welcomed by the host who gave us a great introduction to the city and was always super helpful with recommendations. The room was amazingly spacious and beautiful. Breakfast was brought to our room and delicious. We will definitely be back.

The location is in a neighborhood away from all the tourist traffic and closer to the locals. Easy access to the center of Rome and the major attractions. The hotel is set back on the property, quiet and a clean and pleasing environment.I

Great stay and fantastic location. Nico was a great host and went above and beyond. He gave some great restaurant recommendations and even went out of his way to organize breakfast for us when we had to make a very early departure. Fantastic communication throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble.

Newly remodeled with modern, industrial design. modern bathrooms, excellent shower and premium bedding. Room had an efficient air conditioner. The owner, Niccolo exceeded our every need and was very hospitable. Breakfast was ordered the night before and delivered to our room the next morning. This was the first hotel we stayed at to offer eggs on the menu. delighted to stay here and would highly recommend again. La Barriera di San Lorenzo was the best value for the experience.

The checkout process was very efficient. However, the checkout time was 10 am which was earlier than expected.

Premises - renovated apartment in good taste - modern, bright, clean, very quiet, big airy, high ceiling room. Top mark Location - 2 mins easy walk into the heart of Siena. Everywhere is convenient to reach. Excellent freshly prepared breakfast served in room. Guests choose what they fancy to fill up their morning bellies based on a breakfast wishlist provided. No unnecessary food wastage. Well done. Finally, Niccolo- the host who can do anything for his guests...one can see he has the utmost passion hosting his guests with full enthusiasm and a very talented good looking guy. Bravo :-) Highly recommended.

Nice breakfast, kind personal

The property is in a great location, two or three minutes walk from the top of town and easy to find and get to from the train/bus station. It was styled nicely and very clean. Very comfortable bed. The host, Niccolo, was super friendly and very helpful - he gave us some great tips about things to do in the city and some awesome recommendations for where to eat. He and his team also made us an awesome breakfast every morning and delivered it to our door. We'd love our stay here and will definitely stay again if we come back to Siena. Highly recommend +++

There was nothing we didn't like!

It‘s the perfect stay for Siena. The place is superclean,quiet and beautiful. There’s everything you need in the room for a comfortable stay. Free parking places are just arround the corner and so is the entrance to the historic city. Niccolo is a great host. He answers all questions immediatly. It‘s super easy to communicate with him and he has great tipps(where to eat, what to do and when it‘s the best time for that). Breakfast is very good and served at your room. We would definitely come again :)

A nice and bright, spacious room with very good airconditioning. 5 minutes walk to the city center and free parking nearby. Very friendly owner who recommended us the unconventional and wonderful restaurant Quarto upon request.

For us the mattress was a bit too firm (like usual in Italy) but that is personal.

Stylish rooms with cool upstairs lounge for breakfast. Within city walls thus within walking distance from Piazza del Campo. Rich breakfast with excellent home made jams and yogurt. Silent rooms. Patrons are nice too
