The room was spacious with a lovely patio area.
The staff were lovely and very helpful.
There was no kettle in the bedroom and the mini fridge was hot inside.

First of all - the staff were very helpful. They accommodated early breakfast so we could eat before planned excursions (about 15 minutes early), they called ahead for taxi's for us, and were generally helpful.
The pool is lovely - note, as a salt water pool with a tan/green tile scheme, it will look greenish. That is fine.
We did not try the spa.
Two of the three rooms had issues with ants.
We wished we paid closer attention to the distance from Sant Agnello to downtown Sorrento, as it cost alot in cabs, but we were focused on the bonus of the pool.
NOTE: The street number for Villa Emmanuel is 52 (not 28 as it says on Booking.com).

We absolutely loved our time at Villa Emanuel. Irma is the most wonderful hostess, and is more than happy to offer her expertise in local attractions and restaurants. She was easily the best part of our stay; she always made sure we had everything we needed, had the best dinner recommendations, and was absolutely charming. We hope to cross paths again! Caio!
The bed could use a soft mattress topper and more pillows.

we enjoyed the pool and the facility. The receptionist was a lovely lady who tried to accomodate us as much as possible.
I feel the breakfast was not great, there was no towel service by the pool and the wifi was very poor.

Very pleasant manager, big and clean room
A little far from Sorrento, may be tiring for older guests. Pool closes at 18.00... should stay open for longer.

Very friendly staff. Met all our accommodations and expectations.

Located in a very quiet area, with an orange orchid beside and having the garden full of jasmine. Spacious rooms.
After visiting the crowded Amalfi Coast, we appreciated that by the end of the day we had this peaceful place.
It also has a large parking place, which is a real treasure in this area.
A fresh wall paint it would have been nice, considering we stayed in June, beginning of season. Mosquito nets need it.
Walking to the city takes 35 minutes, but the traffic is annoying, so it’s not quite a pleasant walk. Taxi is around 25eur for 2,5 kilometers, so in the end we preferred to use our car.

very basic
Don't get close!!!
A stuffy room with a door that, when opened, mosquitoes enter.
Basic room, no place to put luggage. An unpleasant toilet.
We paid for a spa that was not working..
Very basic and minimal breakfast
We booked 4 nights and left after 1 night.
The owner apologized and promised to return our money
but she evades and does not answer.
Even booking refunded us the commission they charged, but the owner does not respond to Booking inquiries and our inquiries.
Bottom line: Villa Emanuel, unpleasant place and crooked owners.

The lock to our door broke and it wasn't able to be fixed. This made it awkward to get into our room through the neighboring room.

staff and rooms
a little far away from sorrento center but good! could have a better breakfast

the room was a great size and the private patio with sun loungers was a lovely extra to have. The few staff we saw were friendly.
We felt there was a lack of attention to detail at this hotel - for example a chair in our patio space had a broken leg - this wasn’t removed, or replaced just was put to the side of the patio area. We went to use but thankfully saw the broken leg before we sat on it. Breakfast was not good and inconsistent. Some mornings they had certain things others they did not, for example no yoghurt one morning, no bread. Food felt a bit stale and only have pastries as options would have been good to have some fruit. We ended up having to buy breakfast from near by supermarket every morning.

The service was brilliant. We had a late check in and the communication with Ilaria was great. She couldn't do enough for us. The room had a fridge which was good. The shower was perfect. It was kept clean throughout our stay. Air conditioning was a god send as it was so hot. Breakfast was continental and was a nice start to the day. Georgina was kind and friendly and always happy to help and serve you.
Although there were a couple of things I would have tweaked the accomodation was impressive and I would recommend it.
The room lacked a kettle. The balcony had no chairs. We did ask for a chair and it was provided.
The minibar was pricey at ,€3 for a can of Fanta(supermarket sold them for 65 cents). Maybe a pool too would have made it more inviting.

Location close to two beaches and train. The staff was really nice and helpful.
Breakfast was only sweet pastries, needs fruits and some protein!

very clean, value for money and staff looked after us very well I would recommend
just little things, breakfast could have been more choice but it was good, driveway with heavy cases could be better and location took a bit of getting used too

Very friendly and accommodating staff, always ready to assist and make for a comfortable stay. Room was very nice and clean. I really liked that there was a stocked mini-bar in the room.
The standard room was a noisy by the reception, you could hear everything going on outside the door. I would look at staying in the junior suite next time.
0.5 / 5.0
The room is large and has a terrace.
Extremely disappointing. Nobody was there when I arrived – a nightmare since you cannot stop the car in that narrow street for more than 3 minutes and it takes long to go around the block. They told me about a paid parking nearby only after I had been cruising around for 40 minutes. Staff was unfriendly and abusive, including outright shouting. The room is clean but looks sterile, without a human touch. There is not even a water heater and no coffee option. No Breakfast. Next café is a 15 minute walk along a very narrow and busy road. I paid for two nights but left after one since I did not feel welcome or even safe.
Of all the >100 or so Italian B&Bs and hotels I stayed in, this was clearly the worst.

Very quiet place, perfect for relaxing. Nice and comfortable room, we were on the ground floor, so had a small courtyard. The staff is not always there but when they are, they are extremely helpful.
We could have taken advantage of a proper fridge in the room.

- absolutely everything was perfect
- the closest bar was in a walking distance apx 7 min.

The room was big, and it was quiet

The room was very well furnished, spacious and clean.
After initial problems the stay was pleasant. The property is behind a security gate in a fairly quiet area. It’s 10 minutes walk to the station and 10 minutes to the beach in the other direction.
Booked a twin room, were given a double. Advertised as B&B but there is no breakfast, unless you order it from staff who will bring you something at a cost. Room not even supplied with a kettle etc.
On request I was given a kettle and 2 mugs.
