Absolutely wonderful stay. Took the wife on a mini honeymoon. Our Cabin was 5 stars all around. Clean, beautiful views, amazing location just a few steps to the quaint downtown area. Host was great and quick to communicate. We had such a great time we will definitely be back and book again.

This property is the perfect location to use as a base for your stay in Helen, Georgia. Everything you would want to do is within walking distance except for maybe the putt putt. You might want to get in the car and drive up there, but it is still walkable. The property was clean and the owner was very accommodating, despite the fact that I had a problem with the booking website. Again, no issue with the property owner, super nice, super accommodating, and was understanding of a strange situation with the site with which I booked this through which was Expedia . Had I known it was a VRBO I would’ve gone straight there first. I use Expedia for work, so that was where I went to. Expedia caused an issue with my ability to initially get into the house and the property owner went above and beyond to help me and my two kids get in, and enjoy our stay. This house is actually ideal for couples. It worked fine for me and my kiddos, but just know that the Jacuzzi tub/shower/master bedroom are all essentially one room. The water closet is separate however. Just an FYI. Something I didn’t notice in the pictures and that’s my fault , otherwise you can sit on the deck, overlook the entire town of Helen, and pick out what you’re going to do that day/night. We actually didn’t even get in the car for the entire stay because we didn’t need to due to the excellent location. Great spot, and I’m already planning a return.

Loved this cabin up on the hill. It was a short walk to all the action and the place itself was very comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay and built up so extra muscle walking up the hill from downtown!

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin! We liked how it combines both the feel of the mountains set in the hill with trees around and was also walking distance to town, restaurants, shopping, etc. Thank you for a great place to stay!

Very nice and clean cabin that is close to everything in Helen

As seniors, there were two difficulties for us....30 stair steps for access in or out of the upper unit, and the key box was very difficult for us to close. A small basket of toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion samples) would have been convenient.

Very nice stay, excellent location, good communication with the property owner. The first night I did have to communicate with the persons downstairs as they were extraordinarily loud but the second night was perfect with a new tenant. You will hear some karaoke across the street but that didn’t bother us at all. If you like to stroll around for a bit, go back to the room to relax, then get back out without having to drive, this place is perfect! Outstanding views.

My wife and I had an amazing stay and you could not ask for a better location in relation the Helen. Easy walk to anywhere.

The property is absolutely beautiful and clean. They provide you with everything need. We were able to walk to the market, to get food and to shop. Everything is convenient. The hill walking up to the home is very steep plus you have lots of stairs. Owners are up front about that. Through no fault of the owner the driveway was tight. The street is narrow (one car only) and difficult to turn into the driveway. We drove a large truck and it took some time getting in and out of there. Especially if there was an on coming car. Our biggest problem was on the weekend you are right beside a restaurant/bar. The music and bass were so loud until around 1am that a fan and ear plugs could not drown out the noise. A lot of people may love that but we did not. The sheets are washed in extremely strong detergent. It bothered my allergies and I had to rewash with no detergent. It helped some but the smell was still there. I still rate this stay very high based on the cleanliness and the closeness of everything. Easy check in and check out. They also give you a nice list of places around town to visit and eat.

My husband and I visited for a weekend away and it was absolutely wonderful. The amenities and decor were lovely and the house is literally a minute from downtown. We came during Octoberfest and enjoyed all of the exciting festivities. Thank you for the amazing accommodations! We will definitely be back!

The location is amazing because you can walk to town and never use your car until time to leave! We were there during Oktoberfest, so this was very much appreciated due to traffic. I would recommend bringing some sort of white noise machine if you’re a super light sleeper, because the music can be quite loud and does carry (please note that this could be due to Oktoberfest but I’m not sure as this was our first visit). With white noise, we slept just fine, so not a big issue for us. It’s worth noting that the hosts did let us know that some had mentioned the noise, so we prepared for it when we packed 😊. The hosts were so communicative and gave us lots of wonderful recommendations, which was super helpful. We had a wonderful time!

The property was great, really close to downtown but just far enough away to still have some privacy. The property owners were excellent and very accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone that like vacationing in Helen.

Walking distance to town was great

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for during our stay in Helen. It was conveniently located and was walking distance to the entire downtown area. It was very comfortable and clean.

Very clean and cozy. Literally walk down the stairs and you are in the center of Helen. I can't say enough great things about this cabin. Everything was great about our stay, the hosts answered any of our questions very quickly. If you are going to stay in Helen make sure you stay here, you will not regret it. Lastly, rent a golf cart so you can fly around the town, we did and loved it for the convenience. Thank you "cutest cabin in Helen" for making our stay enjoyable.

My wife and i had the pleasure of staying at this cottage and its better than advertised. Adjacent to downtown, you can see and hear most everything throughout the day, especially on Friday and Saturday nights at Paul's for Karaoke. Literally, everything you need for a great time in Helen is within walking distance. Something to be aware of is how steep it gets as you walk up to the house from the road. But it's manageable for anyone who wants to be close enough to everything, but still have some privacy in the evenings.

Our family really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect and enjoyed the views. It was a short walk to every thing we needed.The furniture was super comfortable!

Great location! Check-in and communication with the property manager was super easy. However, the cabin was not exactly what we were expecting after reading the write up, reviews, and seeing the pictures. The interior of the place is a lot darker than the pictures appear and it had areas that were dusty and missed when cleaning (ex: coffee pot still had coffee and coffee grounds in the pot and a glass we pulled out was dirty).

Beautiful cabin, very well appointed and clean! Location, Location, Location. We loved how close it was to town. This property did not disappoint. Definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful place, great location to everything in town. We stayed on the top unit, be aware there are a lot of steps to the top unit so carrying a lot of luggage and items etc is a workout. The owners do give a nice amount of information about the area attractions and area restaurants which is very helpful. Helen is a wonderful place to visit and we would stay here again.

The cabin was beautiful!!! The location was perfect!! We especially enjoyed the front balcony with a great view of Helen! We were able to walk easily and quickly to the town to sight see and enjoy delicious meals! Thanks so much for your help getting signed in! God bless you both!

I am extremely pleased with the cute cabin that is a perfect getaway for newly weds. The views and convenience is perfect! We are both over 60 and even though there were lots of steps it was a wonderful place for us. As a designer and builder the decor and finishes were clean, crisp and romantic. Everything was as described. Beautiful place and the location is the best!

We enjoyed our stay here and being able to walk around the Main Street area easily. Our kids slept on the couch and blow up mattress comfortably (11 & 8 yr old) which allowed us more privacy than a hotel room. We were there during some heavy constant rain, but the sound was pleasant falling on the roof. Karaoke at the neighboring restaurant went until 1am Fri & Sat nights, maybe some complimentary ear plugs would be helpful for future guests, but wouldn’t keep me from staying there again.

Loved the cabin, it truly was a quick walk to the epicenter of Helen. It had a great view at night as well as Helen is lit up all year round. Had an important question about the cabin and the host replied very quickly to resolve our issue. Cabin was clean, bed was super comfy. Overall a wonderful experience! Thanks again!

We had a wonderful stay at this sweet cabin!! The location is everything we could have wanted! We walked to town each day. So convenient! The decor is amazing and the comfort level was perfection. When traveling again to Helen, this cabin will be our first choice! Thank you so much for making our stay so special! We will be back!

After signing a mandatory 3 page emailed contract after booking, I assumed that the property would be in tip top shape due to the amount of quirky rules we were told to follow (cap your toothpaste, conserve water, uncomfortable thermostat rules, no cooking with curry, use coasters, carry your kids luggage, squeegee shower after every use, don't walk in the grass, and MANY more). We were greeted with an awful old smell the moment we opened the door, which lingered on our clothes, hair, and luggage, and 15 rules pinned throughout the house. The thick dust on the vents, plants, and all throughout the property (both inside and the porches) made us very uncomfortable. When I reached out to the host describing the filth, it was taken as a personal insult instead of constructive honest feedback and I was called "extremely rude" like I was insulting their taste in decor. I am sure the host will have a lengthy response of excuses to this review (lengthy is definitely a theme here) but I am just being very honest. I would give zero stars if I could. great location though!

The cabin is a very cozy and clean place. Communication was great with the owners and we had everything we needed for our getaway. It's located up hill a little so the view was amazing and it's right in town. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location follow all the detail directions and you will not go wrong. This is the place to stay if it’s your first time or 1000th time to Helen!!! The host is great as well. Will stay here again and refer friends and family.
