The home has a great view on the lake. Plenty of spaces to sit and visit with friends. Full kitchen for cooking at home. Easy to Uber to music venues. Good sleeping accommodations for a large group. Enjoyed sitting outside!!!

Spent the day on the lake which was awesome. Came back and played some yard games in the back yard in the nice grassy lawn with views of the lake. Spent the majority of the night at the awesome tiki hut with wrap around bar seating and flat top grill! Overall great experience!

We had a group of 11 stay at the property for our son's 21st Birthday! It was fabulous! From day 1, Mark was incredibly easy to get in touch with and often times would text me with extra information he had thought of. The house is large and the lake is INCREDIBLE!!!! We opted to spend 1/2 our time on the lake and 1/2 on Broadway. The drive to/from wasn't amazing, however, was easily accessible and worth it to have the extra "quiet-non Broadway" noise and lake view day after day. The pontoon was perfect and the lake has many marinas with food and coves to cruise through. Absolutely gorgeous! Mark was flexible when the weather was hard to anticipate allowing us flexibility with our boating days. The property was plenty large enough for the 11 of us, we spent most of our time on the back patio admiring the lake views, catching fish off the shoreline. The neighborhood is very quiet and private. A spot directly out front of the property (about 200 yards) is a spot they call, "2 foot" where alot of boaters gather to hang out in the 2 feet of water- particularly busy on Summer days we here. We saw a few gathering, mostly on Sunday, it was no bother to us at all, looked super fun! We highly recommend this property to both small and large groups. There were deer al over the lake and the land was simply peaceful. Definitely recommend the boat, huge bonus.

The owners were very helpful and accomodating to everything that we needed. This is an awesome home and makes you feel like you are in another country. Lots of cool places to hang out outside, loved the tiki hut, court yard and the porch.

The property is absolutely gorgeous with lots of things to do while you are there, not just at the house but around the area. The location is not too far from downtown so it made it super easy to get there. I would highly recommend this location if you are looking to stay in Nashville

We stayed for my 40th birthday and we had a great time. The house was extremely nice and we enjoyed the pontoon boat. Mark was a great host, we hope to come back soon.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What a perfect place for friends to gather and re-live stories of past glory:) The house was perfect- lots of spaces to hang out, comfortable furniture and great views. The music and island themes made you feel like you were on island time. The owner was responsive and was always making sure we had everything we needed to get the most out of our stay. With a grill, Blackstone, smoker and full kitchen, we really never had to leave for a meal. We even caught a few fish! This place is a definite do-over for us! My suggestion is to provision heavily, rent the boat and have a great time with friends and family!!

We had a blast staying on the lake in this beautiful home. The outdoor spaces are amazing. They are dog friendly. The host Mark was very responsive and wants to make sure his guests are comfortable and have everything they need. Highly recommend!!!!

We had an amazing week long vacation at this beautiful lake house. There was plenty of space for our large group. Everyone enjoyed the indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces, as well as the kayaks and the pontoon (definitely recommend renting the pontoon). The house contained everything we needed for the week. We were extremely happy with the location - close to the airport, and an easy UBER ride to/from Broadway. We all enjoyed being so close to 2 foot cove. So fun to spend the day there. Mark (host) was always quick to respond to our questions and gave us great recommendations for restaurants on the lake.

Mark works hard and is extremely good at coordinating and communicating with the renters. The property is big and beautiful. Wonderfully close to the water and it was very convenient to be able to rent the pontoon boat that he keeps there. The kitchen is big and easy to work in. Overall a great experience. Note there is space for 2-3 vehicles, and bring your own dish soap. I will be saving this place for later to hopefully visit sometime again in the future.

Had a few days with some friends for downtown scene and out on the lake. We had a good time and would recommend Mark's place for other groups looking to have a laid back location to hang on the water. Mark was very communicative and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay with my family, parents, sister’s family, and brother. It was a beautiful location to sit outside and enjoy the nature around us. Mark was a great host and ensured we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this VRBO for anyone looking to get away for a weekend and spend quality time with their family in nature.

This is a definite have to go back to property! Mark was easy to work with, very responsive and available when needed. House was perfect for our family: plenty of room to spread out and find your own space : at times with a front gated veranda and an amazing back porch leading down down to a grassy landing with a tiki feel complete with a black stone grill! All looking directly out into the lake. Our favorite spot was dinners on the deck overlooking the lake. Beautiful sunsets! House was clean, full kitchen and great area for late night movie watching after days on the lake. Again one of the most relaxing times with our kids. Of note on Old Hickory, you cannot use the private docks if you are a short term renter. There is a close boat ramp if needed. Mark has a pontoon you can rent. FYI, he is also a local realtor if the lake life really creates an impact! Going into Nashville was great one night but we only went once as we loved just staying at the house.

Wow, our family had a wonderful stay which included a full day use of the host's pontoon. Nicely appointed kitchen and amenities throughout. The deck with all of the lounging areas was our favorite hangout area. Mark was quick to respond to our requests and is a pleasure to work with. About 20 minutes to downtown Nashville, you truly have the best of everything. Thank you!

Everything was great. If we have one comment, it's that when you pay a pretty significant cleanup fee in the price, we don't feel like you should have to strip the beds, do the laundry, wash the dishes and put them away. Taking out the trash should be enough.

This lake home was perfectly for our large and busy family. We enjoyed the lake view and the comfort of the home. Mark is an excellent host- he even stopped by with cookies for our kids.

My family and I enjoyed the property. Mark is very concerned about his guests and reached out on our trip to see if everything was okay and ask if we needed anything. Overall the house is nice and Mark is working to keep improving the property. I would recommend staying at this property.

Very nice location to visit Nashville without being too far from downtown. Home and location were very nice and would be wonderful in the summer with the lake acces and outside kitchen bar area. Only downside is home needs a little TLC likely due to high rental usage. Owner was great and very easy to contact. We would definitely come back and rent again.

Our family of 6 (parents, grown kids and their significant others) met here for 5 days over the Thanksgiving holiday, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect place for us! The location was absolutely ideal —not too far at all from Nashville, but just far enough away to make our stay calm, quiet and relaxing. The home is spacious and has loads of personality —with comfy indoor spaces and LOTs of truly fun and unique outdoor spaces, as well —the views of a beautifully scenic lakeshore were an added bonus! The home is very clean, has everything you need to cook whatever you’d like —we made an entire Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings! The giant TV in the great room had enough seating for a large group to watch movies —we played some of the games in the cabinet —we took walks in the neighborhood, too! We ventured in to Nashville for some great food and entertainment, as well. Our hosts were available instantly to answer our questions, but honestly, the info they shared with us ahead of time had us feeling prepared before we arrived. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again —we had a fantastic time, and being able to be together all in one place was the key to a great holiday! Thanks for sharing your home —we will be smiling about the memories we made for a long time!

We had the most amazing time. The house is so beautiful and the lake views are breathtaking. We hope to stay there again someday.

We really enjoyed this property with family for my 45th birthday. House was big and accommodated all of the family including 3 little ones. The outside bar was great to relax at for a few drinks and grilling and we really enjoyed the fire pit at night after the sun went down. Mark also rented us a Pontoon Boat right at the house so we didn't have to deal with going to a marina to rent one and then return it later in the day. Awesome stay we highly recommend Mark and his Italian Villa on Old Hickory Lake!

We had a great time at this Mediterranean Style home on Old Hickory Lake. The outdoor space and access to the lake was why we chose it. The house is spacious and has everything you could ask for. Two foot Cove is just a few hundred yards away and is a great spot to hang out, shallow with a sandy bottom. It was a real plus to be able to bring our pup. She loved hanging out on the deck looking out over the water. Beautiful place to stay and a rare find!

Absolutely loved our stay! The house is amazing and has so many different places to sit out and enjoy the lake atmosphere.

Great time loved the property. Loved the deck it was really relaxing with the view of old hickory lake. Out door kitchen was put use for a fish fry!! This stay was for my 50th birthday party and enjoyed it thoroughly!!!

Overall a great stay. Kitchen well stocked, tiki bar area great, beds comfortable. Loved the covered patio. Only problem was a lot of algae at the beach area but totally out of the control of owner. Rented a boat from the owner at a reasonable price and they addressed any problems we had very quickly.

Mark was so great to deal with throughout the entire process. He checked us in and made sure we knew where everything was. We also rented his boat for a few days which was awesome! There is a sand bar just a 30 second drive from the house where the kids had a great time being able to stand in the water! The house was just as beautiful as the pictures and was just a 25 minute drive into downtown Nashville! Truly the best of both worlds!

Beautiful lake. Glad that I had access to a boat which allowed better swimming options and views of the lake. House had plenty of room and nice amenities.

Place was fantastic. Relaxing atmosphere with great proximity to nashville. Beautiful lake with majestic views. Tiki hut was great for cookouts. Mark was a great and accommodating host. Will be back again.
