Loved this cabin right on Rainbow Lake.

We absolutely loved the property and the history of the area. The lake is beautiful and so relaxing and peaceful. Our small dog loved her multiple swims everyday and we enjoyed the wildlife and the slow pace of the canoes, paddle boards, kayaks and pontoons. People were out fishing from morning until well into the night. The cabin is totally stocked with anything you might need. You step into a time capsule that is so well preserved and tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this rental and hosts.

This place is fantastic! Nature all around and very private, the deck overlooking the lake was the best. We never turned the TV on, everything we needed to see was outside or on the lake. I've stayed in many places in the area and this was the best!

Stayed here with my family of four and had a great time. Property is in a great location, is extremely clean and stocked, and I would definitely return.

We loved Rubys. Very clean everything you need is in the cabin. Beautiful property. Owner of property was very accommodating. Checkin and out was very simple. We would have liked the fence to be more secure for our large dogs. Over all very relaxing and fun stay!

As before, we’ve enjoyed our stay here. The house is cute and cozy, and the dogs love the property and the freedom to run around. Beautiful bird sightings!

Beautiful property and location. My grandson and the dogs loved running around in the snow and making a snowman. Need to come back in the summer when fishing is better and lake is full.

Beautiful fireplace and plenty of good wood. It was cold outside mid November, but inside was warm and comfortable. We’ve been here before and really enjoy the ambiance of this little cabin. We’ll keep coming back!

Ruby's Cabin at the Lake has everything you need for a nice relaxing retreat. From the rustic feels from the log cain and fireplace to the modern tech of tv with Dish, Roku, Netflix, etc, a powerful little microwave and dishwasher. We arrived just after it snowed so our kids and dogs had loads of snow to play with! The property feels much bigger than 4 Acres! There are a lot of hungry ducks and geese to feed (plus one duck who loves to laugh at everything you do! It was a hoot!). There is just so much to enjoy at Ruby's and not enough space to write! The hosts are amazing. They do absolutely everything they can to make sure you have a wonderful stay. We left feeling like we stayed 4 days instead of the weekend. ❤️

This is an amazing huge property right on Rainbow Lake. We woke each day to enjoy the flocks of Canadian Geese on the property. We also had fun paddling a rowboat around the lake. We had a beautiful and relaxing visit.

Ruby’s On Rainbow Lake is a lovely, perfectly decorated, exceptionally clean and tidy cabin with a nice location on Rainbow Lake. The deck is AMAZING. We were disappointed that the fencing around the 4 acres was in no way “secure” for my adopted, retired, racing Greyhound nor my sister’s and brother in law’s Great Dane puppy. Understand that the low water level of the Lake compromised the lake side but a HUGE fallen pine tree in the back had taken the fence right down to the ground. No way could either dog be allowed to run free as advertised. Fence could easily be breached in other places.

This was the best experience that we’ve ever had here in Pinetop. My autistic son, accompanied by his support dog, overcame many fears and was calmer than I have ever seen him. The scenery was perfect, the cabin was perfect. I am so grateful to have had the days here to decompress and just enjoy the simple things in life. Perfect vacation. We will be back as soon as we can.

“Ruby” was amazing!! Our favorite place in the pines! Everything you could possibly need, very clean and organized! There was such an amazing and positive vibe, it felt like home! The deck was amazing, the paddle boat was amazing, the swing, the hammock, I could go on! We also ended up renting a pontoon on the other side of the lake! We danced in the rain, watched some beautiful sunsets, caught some fish, roasted some marshmallows and just relaxed with the family and our dog! Jim next door was also very cool, he gave us the history on “Ruby”. Made sure we had everything but also stayed out of our way! We will definitely be coming back and we can’t wait! Thank you for the memories “Ruby”!

Beautiful vintage lakeside cabin just steps away from the lake. Relaxed in the rocking chairs watching the sunset from the huge deck overlooking the lake. Loved all the ducks, geese and heron too!

A great spot to getaway, my friends and I had great time. Pet friendly and was able to just let them be free the entire time. Love how a kayak and boat were included!

The cabin is wonderful. Charming. Right on a beautiful lake. It has a huge deck complete with rocking chairs. It is extremely clean, well stocked and roomy. My husband and I and our 13 year old black lab had a fantastic stay.

Ruby’s at the Lake was wonderful. Right on Rainbow Lake, very relaxing and peaceful. My dogs Rio and Zsa Zsa loved exploring the property. The house was clean and exactly as described. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our brief stay at this cabin. It was lovely inside and out. The deck was a great outdoor hangout, watching the birds and the beautiful lake. The home is decorated with style and creativity, and it was a pleasure to see new furniture! The dogs loved having space to roam, and we taught our puppy how to swim! Lots of fun and we hope to return soon!

Our family loved this property! We brought our teenage daughters and 7 month Doberman puppy. The fenced yard is huge and the most beautiful property in front of the lake. We were able to fish, hangout, walk, kayak, row the boat and explore. We caught tons of fish. The dog loved running through the yard and we felt safe letting her do so. This house is older, but very charming. It was exceptionally clean ! The owner thought of all the details for not only us, but for the dog. We had a wonderful time there. Ruby's is an amazing cabin. The cabin itself is very dog friendly with sofa covers and towels for dogs. It was very clean and ready for us. The kids loved playing in the lake with the boat and kayak. They fished and chased frogs. The dogs enjoyed the lake and roaming the property. It has something for everyone. We really enjoyed our time there.
