Great house, fully stocked kitchen, great layout.

I stayed for several days for a wedding in town. The home is beautifully done with lots of kitchen equipment, washer/dryer, and cool rooms with nice views. The kitchen and outside dining area have breathtaking views of the bay and walks through the neighborhood are beautiful as well. The home is conveniently located within walking distance of a Grocery Outlet grocery store, several restuarants, banks, and drug stores. We walked to the ocean each day. It is a wonderful find for a rental home.

Fabulous 3bd, 2bth in Seaside, just north of Monterey. Great location, easy to get around, small market, liquor store and bakery within walking distance. Well appointed, truly lovely. Only one thing, there wasn't a Kleenex box to be found. Just sayin'. All in all, couldn't be happier and would absolutely stay again.

House was very clean, well-stocked and convenient… enjoyed the aquarium , Dennis the Menace park and the beach.

This 3 Bedroom 2 Bath home is comfortable and well-appointed. Everything was in good working order, the neighborhood was relatively quiet, and there were a couple of cafe/bakeries within walking distance. Our only minor complaint is that this home was not easy to navigate for the one member of our party who walks with a cane after knee and hip replacements. It would have been been helpful to have an “accessible”bathroom, particularly grab bars in the shower and an accessible height toilet.

This property was just right for our family of 3 and would have been great even if all of us 6 (adults) were travelling together. We enjoyed all of the room, the convenient location to all of the places we need to go and the full kitchen to cook and eat some of our meals and especially make our morning cup of coffee. Only thing—the communication with the owner is not quick at all. We had a perpetual problem with the alarm during the entire stay. Tried to communicate this through VRBO, then text, then a phone call (left a VM). I didn’t get an answer until 3:49 a.m. just this morning of our departure. Super frustrating as we had to vacation with this annoying message that would announce the problem (apparently there were 3 failing alarm sensors on the property) even through the night. Being a light sleeper and having the same sort of alarm system at my own home, I would wake up several times the first 2 nights only to remind myself that it’s a false alarm. While waiting for the owner’s answer, we originally followed the Post-it instruction to not touch the alarm console, then we fiddled with it to try to decrease the volume, then we wrapped the console with a small towel and a bunch of tape we found on property. Helped a little but not a lot. The other things is that you need a key to enter the property. Other places we’ve stayed have all had keypads on their doors—no concern about getting locked out. The home is cute & in a location we desired. Trouble started upon check-in. An annoying chime from security system every 60 seconds. Was a big sign on the keypad: DO NOT TOUCH. The kitchen was tidy but not clean: dirty sponge in the sink was the only sponge at the place. Crumbs on the counter tops. Master shower rod was broken, it & curtain were in the bottom of the shower. Attempts to fix it were unsuccessful leaving one shower for two couples for the weekend. I left VM messages, texts and messages on VRBO App to the owner, Ernie, who provided his cell during the intro & check-in process. Never heard back from him. (Still haven’t days later!) When getting into bed the first night realized none of the sheets had been changed from the previous guests, so spent two hours doing laundry. The worst part was the security system continually announced either a door/window opening at all hours. It was very loud and we couldn’t figure out how to control the volume or turn it off. So that made for three consecutive sleepless nights. It woke up the entire house every time it went off, which was multiple times each night. The first time we thought someone broke it or had come through the front door. Startling all. Again, no response on how to rectify the problem. Beware of the front steps. They are tile and really slick when wet. We all fell or nearly did at various times. Wife hurt her hip/back. An elderly person or kids could really get hurt!

The property is amazing. Well appointed, clean, and spacious!

We were in town for a conference and it had everything we needed: clean bathroom, kitchen, porch, clean bed, enough space, living room, etc. Jogged around the neighborhood and to the sand dunes. Plenty of food nearby

Nice and quiet with alot of outdoor space for hanging out, BBQing, all beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, seating for 10 in Kitchen area. Would highly recommend...

Home was comfortable. Had a coffee maker but no coffee or filters so need to bring your own. Neighbors took up the street parking so fortunately the driveway was long enough to fit our two vehicles. I would stay here again.

This is a nice home in a residential area of Seaside. It is well kept and is a short drive to Monterey and Carmel. It suited our family of 5 with 3 young adults well. We visited during a warm stretch. It does not have AC so some more fans would be useful.

We had a great time in Seaside! The house is conveniently located and exactly as described. It was clean, with comfortable beds and plenty of room for all of us. We loved the outdoor sitting areas. The lockbox was a little tricky to find and no lights were left on when we arrived so we did a little searching in the dark and finally got ourselves inside. We were pleasantly surprised by the size and design. The alarm on the doors are a little obnoxious, but we did get used to them. Wouldn’t be an issue ordinarily, but with the little one going to bed first, the mound announcements of doors opening was a bit of an inconvenience. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay.

This was perfect for us. Our daughter & partner live nearby and there was room for my other daughter and her family to stay here too. Not far from beach, Dennis the Menace playground and the aquarium too. Very comfortable!

The house had what we needed for our family of 5 adults and was close to grocery stores and restaurants. The electric fans were useful for the warmer evenings, but the house cooled off quickly at night (plus they added white noise for neighborhood dogs and people). Grateful for off street, locked parking. Host was super easy to work with and contact. Highly recommend.

Clean and comfy. Perfect location to stay when playing pebble beach for 2 days

Very nice property. Very comfortable for 4 senior sisters. Plants and grounds were beautiful. The host was very resonsive to question prior to our visit. Only suggestion would be to have screens on windows so we could enjoy the cool breezes. Would definitely stay here again when traveling to the Monterey Bay area.

+Proximity to areas of interest +Clean (although reeked of cleaning products when we fist arrived) +Comfortable beds +Ample linens -Area (neighborhood) a little rough (very close to liquor store, lots of cars on the street, solicitors) -Exposed electrical (some outlets had no plates or devices installed) Obvious rushed flip job. -Kids beds metal frame over tile floor. We had to put pillows on the floor after our 3 yo fell. -Annoyingly loud alarm system (with a sign that says not to alter) sounds EVERY TIME a door or window is opened. Makes nap time a fun challenge. And what sealed the deal for us: -OWNER SHOWS UP UNNANNOUNCED to "put blankets in the garage" Really? That couldn't wait? Overall it was better than a motel 6, but lacking some of the comforts. We had to purchase our own laundry soap? Not many kid friendly (plastic) plates/bowls/utensils. Lots of glass + tile floors + tall chairs = picnic time on floor. Stay here if you have grown kids or just want to save money cramming adults into twin beds.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. We would recommend it to friends and family as it was close to a lot of places we wanted to see, and do but more affordable than staying in Carmel or Monterey. If we were to return to the area, we would definitely like to book again.

2 nights in midsummer. Very clean & comfortable home. Very accessible to Monterey beaches & attractions. Unlike many VRBOs, the kitchen was stocked with sharp knives - a definite plus.

This is a cute little house near Monterey. It was clean and well equipped to house our family of six, while we were visiting Monterey. It was 10 minutes or less to drive to the beach, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. Would stay here again!

In Monterey to volunteer at the Women's US Open so this place was very convenient to Pebble Beach. The 4 of us had plenty of room and we enjoyed the time we spent there. Having the driveway with the locked gate was nice for convenience and safety. Would stay here again if we ever get back to this area!
