PROS: Owner did well on the re-model. Well stocked kitchen, games, puzzles, etc. Karen did a nice job on the binder compiling info on restaurants, hikes etc. Dave was responsive to a TV issue. The location is convenient to downtown. Bed was comfortable for one of us, not the other. CONS: Property is located next to a busy, noisy street; Unable to use the patio due to sap and cottonwood fuzz on the furniture; sap on car daily; the owner manages other properties on Hideaway Ln. so consequently were on the property daily. We prefer more privacy and anonymity. The owners met us at the property to “explain things.” We’ve stayed at many VRBO properties and the owners have never met us unless there was an issue. Overall, it just wasn’t up to our standards as an exceptional property. We will not be staying there again.

Very well equipped and comfortable!! Indoors is very quiet and pleasant. Is located on a busy street so the patio area had a lot of traffic noise, however they do have a lovely sitting and hammock area further away from the street which was very pleasant.

Relaxing

It was a perfect cottage, beautiful decor outside and inside, very well supplied with all the extra things such as spices, kitchen items, bathroom items, and they use nice products. We loved the place and hope to be able to stay there again!

We were impressed with the attention to detail by the hosts. From exact directions, to leaving the lights on for a very late arrival, to chocolates, fresh flowers & champagne awaiting us, to complete "Welcome" notebook we felt taken care of! The cottage is exactly as described. It is very clean, has a very complete kitchen & great beds. The washer & dryer in the cottage was a bonus. We truly enjoyed the private, covered patio, nature area, ease of access to freeways, closeness to grocery store & downtown. It was a perfect for jumping off spot to many hikes close by & for a day trip to Sedona. We would definitely stay there again!

Myself, my daughter and her father went up for a soccer tournament. Dave was so kind to show us around when we arrived and also gave suggestions on local food spots. The place was cozy and had everything that anyone could need. I found the beds to be comfortable. It was also convenient to be so close to a grocery store . Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful place.

Such an enjoyable stay- we met the owners at checking. Karen and David we extraordinarily great hosts- they thought of everything to make our stay so pleasant.

Great little house just right for two women taking a break from everything. Both bedrooms are small but plenty of storage and closet space. Beds were comfortable and linens were clean and fresh in bedrooms and bath. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking, etc. We ate out a lot and always had leftovers so we didn’t use the stove/oven. Maybe next time! The property is along a small creek and we were looking forward to seeing the javelina, just weren’t there enough to see them…drat! Hosts are friendly and easy to get in touch with. Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed in the Casita for 3 months, Dec- Feb. We couldn't have found a better place! Karen and Dave are amazing hosts, were very responsive, checking on us regularly and offered fun activities around town. The Casita was stocked with everything you could need, including paper products, laundry soap, spices, coffee, cooking utensils, and local info brochures. We also received a nice welcome gift for us and for our dog. The Casita has a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a laundry room, and nice outside patio area. The "meadow" is their acre property that was so nice for our dog, but also included multiple seating areas, bird feeders, and a runoff creek that 2 mallards hung out on. They have 4 rental properties on the private drive along the meadow, with ample parking, and we enjoyed socializing with some of their other guests. We had never been to Prescott before, and we even fell in love with the town, despite the 2 times we got 4-6" snow, lol. We may make this an annual thing! Kudos to Karen and Dave, and Terri, their cleaning person who makes amazing zucchini bread!

We enjoyed our stay, especially the surprise horse shoe pit and board games at night after a long day out. Kitchen was well stocked which was a big plus for Thanksgiving. There is pride in ownership.

We couldn’t have asked for anything more. From the coffee in the kitchen to the bandaids in the bathroom every item I might have forgotten was already there for me. Dave and Karen were there to greet us and show us around this cozy home and beautiful outdoor space. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful experience. The host waited late hours to help us find the exact location of the place and gave us a tour of the place even during that time. The place was clean, cozy and well stocked. They had additional things like recommended restaurants and places to visit which was very helpful. We would definitely return back and recommend it to anyone!

Just what we needed. My wife is about to start a medical regiment and I wanted to get her away from the valley for a few days to recharge her batteries. Very quaint casita freshly remodeled and had everything we could want. Really enjoyed the outside patio that made you feel as if you were in the middle of the forest. Hope to come back for a longer stay sometime in the future.

My wife and I came up to Prescott to get away from the heat, and we'll, stresses of life. David & Karen were absolutely fantastic! The place was beautiful, but moreover, so are the hearts of these amazing hosts! They worked with me when I mis-booked the dates, they welcomed our pups as if they were their own, and even recommended a phenomenal movie that had to do with local events/history. This was truly the getaway we needed and David and Karen made it a perfect experience!

Lovely place in a very nice setting. Dave and Karen were very sweet and acommodating for my husband and I and our two pups. Our Casita had everything we needed and then some. Even a gift for our dogs. I would recommend this VRBO for anyone looking to escape the valley heat or just to get away to beautiful Prescott.

We felt such peace and tranquility while staying at the tucked away location- although we were in Prescott we felt transported to another place while sitting on the patio. House was well stocked with everything we would need for the weekend but also close to restaurants and shops. Owners were inviting and so pleasant at check in and when we had a issue locking the door, they were there in under 5 min.

Love the location of this property. Easy access to stores, food, adventure. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. The furniture was comfortable and truly felt like home. We will definitely be coming back and using them again. Highly recommend staying here.
