A hotel with a very fancy feeling, at a very attractive price for Shanghai. The location is close to the Maglev station, which goes to and from the Pudong airport in less than 15 minutes. From the station you can also take the metro to the city. Breakfast was excellent and had a wide range of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will gladly stay here again!

1. The location is not central, with no shops and restaurants nearby. There are some eating options at the Maglev station, but it's a 15-minute walk away. 2. No water bottles in the room, though you can get some from the reception.

Location was far from the train station. Staff couldn't really speak English and I'm not sure if they were laughing at our Mandarin...

Lovely, brand new hotel. Really convenient for Maglev and local metro esp as we were on a 1 night only stay. Great choice at breakfast including both Western and Eastern dishes, huge variety of fresh fruits and salads, breads, even minions themed dim sum! Large comfortable room and excellent bathroom. Gym was one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel, though we didn’t get time to use it. We went into the financial district at night to see the lights (as the station by the bund was closed for some reason), couldn’t find a good place to eat there so ate at a noodle restaurant near the maglev on the way back - fresh pulled rice noodles in a broth - slippery but delicious!

Wish we’d taken a cab on way there, quite a walk from the station, maybe 20 mins. Taxi to maglev on return was around £1 I think!
