Exceptionally clean, surrounded by pubs, restaurants and bars but didnt hear a sound, really quiet. Lovely comfortable bed

No kettle in room and no t bags. Not everyone drinks coffee. I.did ask for a kettle and one was put in room but personally I think it should be standard. Also my room was so small that I had to climb over the bed to get in as there wasn't enough room either side of the bed. It was clearly a single bedroom but had a double bed in.it. apart from that all was good and I would stay.there again .

Would have liked a kettle and teabags to make a cup of tea, I’m not a coffee enthusiast in the morning and there was only a coffee machine. My husband was delighted though.

Room is furnished to a very high standard, good bedroom and bathroom facilities. Location could not be better for centre of Canterbury. Relatively quiet. Will return.

Not a dislike, it suited me but bear in mind check in/out is automatic and there aren't staff - painless process worked well, good communication. No local parking (5 minute walk).

Excellent new rooms and well equipped kitchen, however furniture piled up in corner of living room upon arrival-not very welcoming.

No staff on site but you only hear about this once you have booked. Impossible to sleep until all the bars close and youth go home. The Hugo provided ear plugs (!) but that didn't change anything, luckily is was a cold night and windows were kept closed. Additional shower curtain would be an idea as shower screen not wide enough.

Clean, bright, well appointed, facilities were good. Lovely shower. Great communication. Cleaned daily and to a high standard. No intrusive noise given the location. This a real centre location for anything, food, bars, shops, historic sites and theatre, transport links.

Minor only. Not really a double, as very limited room either side of bed. Would function better as a twin.

We stayed here for a night on our road trip. the hotel was in the middle of everything so a short walk to all the bars and restaurants. the room was really comfortable, clean with a great shower and super comfy bed!

it’s a bit noisy as it’s over a pub with live music but music stopped relatively early and there were earplugs supplied. the only real downside was that there’s no parking there which wasn’t ideal for us with the amount of stuff we had but parking isn’t too far away and pretty reasonable for overnight rates.

it was very central, clean and quiet.

no shelf in the bathroom for toiletries.

Superb location right in the heart of Canterbury… easy access , comfortable beds and fab shower.

Right in the heart of Canterbury. Three blocks from the grocery store. Wonderful kitchen. Quiet at night. Restaurants nearby. Absolutely beautiful apartment.

We had to leave, so much more to see. Three nights? We could have stayed five!

The place is fantastic. Very clean, very well equipped and in the city center. I fully recommend it.

there was nothing we did not like, all was fine

great location on the main street… but with my spacious room at the back, it was absolutely quiet with a view over the rooftops to the cathedral. No issues with the check-in process and it was very comfortable and stylish.

Nothing I didn’t like … would have loved a little fridge to keep cold drinks and fruit in.

Nothing, everything about the hotel was fab!

Facilities and decoration were modern, eveything was very clean and mostly well thought out. Location was perfect with parking and station in easy walking distance. Nice to have air-conditioning. Bathroom clean and well designed. Towels good, nice toiletries. Like the coded entry - no key/card to lose. Price good. Bed comfortable with lots of cushions and pillows. No on-site staff, but the operator was very communicative and helpful.

A few minor things took the edge off though: Bed was a tight fit into the room making it a little difficult to move around, The aircon blew down onto the head end of the bed so not nice to have on whilst in bed and the window only opened a little. No tea provided, just coffee. Nowhere to store spare cushions/pillows and not much hanging space for a long stay. Under-bed drawers might allow better use of space in the small room.

Although the rooms are in the main night-time area of Canterbury it was really quiet. The room facilities were great - working air conditioning, comfy bed, luxury toiletries and good shower.

I didn't realise when I originally booked that there were no reception facilities and therefore nowhere to leave a bag for the day whilst I attended a wedding. I was also a bit worried about checking in, with the door codes only, on my arrival after midnight but it worked out fine. The room I was in (Room 3) was lovely and peaceful, although I was woken by other quests arriving back and talking after their nights out 1am and 2am, ear plugs are thoughtfully provided in the room so I soon got back to sleep again with them in. There's no kettle in room - just a coffee maker which made lovely coffee but only teeny espressos, so it would have been good to have another option.

It would have been more than excellent if there was some arrangement for luggage to be left before checkin and after checkout.

Perfect for our friends trip - we booked two of the double rooms and the Apartment. All rooms very comfortable and clean. Tea/coffee provided in all rooms. Excellent location. Very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again next time we visit Canterbury. Would highly recommend.
