The beds were amazing! The rooms were clean. Breakfast was good.

Shower pressure was a little lacking, a minor pet peeve

Gute Lage mit viel Grün drumherum. Parkplatz am Hotel, aber durch Bäume mit zuckrigen Beeren 1 Tag Autowäsche in Höhe von 9 Englischen Pfund erforderlich. Alles verklebt mit Beeren. Leider kein Warnschild aufgestellt vom Hotel. Die Bar war ein schöner Aufenthaltsort. Man konnte auch draußen sitzen. Gutes Frühstück mit reichhaltigem Angebot.

Siehe oben. Mindestens 2 Parkplätze brauchen Warnschild. Sind momentan unbenutzbar. Foto mit Blick aus unserem Zimmer. Wirklich grauenhaft.

Le petit déjeuné était incroyable (beaucoup de choix), le style de l’hôtel moitié ancien moitié moderne était original. Restaurant de l’hôtel très bon <3

Was dated and a bit shabby Lots of things in the room were not up to standard the toilet roll holder was very loose the same with heated towel rail plus the bath had chips which were badly filled with filler and was very slippery no aircon

Sehr schönes Hotel.In einer ruhigen Straße gelegen,Stadtzentrum trotzdem gut erreichbar.Personal sehr nett.Jedes Zimmer ein Unikat. Sehr schön eingerichtet.Ich fühlte mich da sehr wohl. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Es hat mir alles sehr gut gefallen.

Goede ligging, op 10 min stappen van centrum Canterbury. Volledige ontbijtbuffet met mogelijkheid tot bestelling van warme gerechten. Onze fietsen werden binnen gestald.

Het hotel mist wat charme. Geen terras ondanks het kleine park waarin het gesitueerd is. De kamer was niet klaar op de normale inchecktijd (15u), zo'n 20 min moeten wachten. Tweemaal gewekt (00:00 en 00:15) door een vals een vals brandalarm.

Everything new, clean, comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful

Unfortunately one morning the fire alarm woke up all the hotel at almost 6am… it appears it was the steam produced by a client in his bathroom

Location great for easy walk into central Canterbury

I know they are having a refurbishment and our room had been done and it was great. Only issue was the WiFi was not good. Had I been there for work I would have been tearing my hair out.

Despite 'refurbishment' arrangements did not adversely affect our stay. Credit to friendly, helpful staff. Liked the new decor.

Booking procedure was very misleading as i thought i had selected rooms and prices to include breakfast. Not so!

Quaint. Large comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Free parking. Close to town.

Breakfast wasn’t great. Cooked breakfast tasted awful. Had to keep waiting for clean crockery. Slow service.

Room 316 - bed was comfortable and jacuzzi bath was great. Also Nice to have shower that you can take off to wash hair separately.

Could have been cleaner - a number of black hairs in the bath and around bath tiles. Not nice. Also I was offered a refurbished room for an extra £5. The hotel wasn’t full , that is the sort of thing the hotel should be offering complimentary to encourage people back.

Even tho there is work going on at the Hotel at the moment.. we did h at anything at all .. the bar was still available and food in rooms .. The staff were amazing.. friendly helpful and i will definitely be going back soon

Gute Lage, fußläufig zur Innenstadt. Geräumiges, frisch renoviertes Zimmer Internet immer verfügbar ;Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden ohne jede Höhenbeschränkung .  Kontinentales Frühstück ausreichend und abwechslungsreich. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

V big rooms. V clean and newly refurbished rooms.

Want a fridge in the room. And only 1 coffee and 1 tea bag each. So needs either to be more generous or restocked.

Good position - just out of town but easily walkable. Great staff. Parking, if you’re quick. Quirky but very comfortable suite’. Signature bathroom.

Great location and lovely staff who sorted out our problem with noise and moved us to a much nicer/quieter room in the new part of the refurbished hotel. This was a beautiful room.

We were originally in the old part of the hotel and it was very noisy, from both the rooms at the sides and above. We would only stay again if we were in the refurbished part of the hotel.

We waited a long timdd we yo get served with our evening meal although the meal was good when it came.

Bath took 30 mins to fill up enough to have a bath with hot water. Food in restaurant only ok

Our room was brand new

The main areas where very dated and it’s on a very busy road although you couldn’t hear the road noise from the room you could sat outside. Photo made it look like a country house estate hotel which it isn’t.

Deluxe room was very large and spacious. Location was fairly close to the Town Centre and parking was free and easy. The hotel suited purpose for two nights so we could attend a wedding.

We travelled with our Dog and appreciate that we could not take her in the restaurant for breakfast. but were told we could take breakfast in the bar area with our dog. Despite being asked to book a time to take breakfast, no tables were set in this area and no staff were readily available, not a problem but we then had to find someone to take our order. Once placed and with coffee & orange juice arriving, the small table we were sat at was then dressed. When the food arrived it was realised that the table we were sat at was not suitable so another table was brought over for overspill, so ended up fine but somewhat disjointed and took far longer than expected. This was the same situation on both mornings despite booking breakfast with our dog. The other issue I felt a little strange was that we were told that because of Covid, our room could not be serviced after the first night despite staying for two. Our stay was in Mid August 2021 yet I had stayed in other hotels in June and July where our rooms had been serviced after each night. I do not know if this is the current rule or whether it was a cost saving?
