The property is well kept. It contains everything you need for a comfortable stay, allowing you to cook or heat up anything. The bedrooms are small but contain king beds which are very comfortable. I liked the neighborhood and its locale. Ample parking and very safe. A nice place to get away.

This is a great 2 bedroom one bath property in a nice neighborhood. Beds were comfortable and the house comes with everything you need to cook or BBQ with. The back yard is nice with a lemon and orange tree and the hot tub was hot and clean. Great stay in Morro Bay. Thank you Barron.

Had a great time. The property was generally convenient, and the host was the best host we’ve ever had. He responded to any of our questions or needs almost immediately. I don’t think I ever waited more than half an hour for a return contact on anything including notifying him about three or four days in advance of my allergies to many cleaning products Which he was able to accommodate for me, which was much appreciated thank you. my only minor complaint would be the fact that the yard is not completely fenced so we couldn’t just let our little dog out off the leash in the backyard to run free and the lack of screen doors as one day even though the outside temperature was in the high 70s the inside of the house got up over 90°.

This is a very nice but small house very suitable for two or three people or two adults, and two children. It is pet friendly however, one section of the yard is not fenced, but there is wire you can pull across to block it off. However, if you have a big dog, the wire may not hold the man. It’s walking distance to the beach and very close to both downtown Cayucos and Morro Bay.

If travels take you to Morro Bay, consider booking the Orchid Cottage. An absolute perfect place for a small group. The cottage has been renovated to the nines! Two of the most comfortable beds. Close to town, a very safe neighborhood. The best word to describe my stay is "perfect."

The place has everything one may need to stay comfortably and care free with close proximity to Pacific Ocean.
It is better to stay with a close family or friends. Space is not big, but clean, has front porch and cozy backyard. Ocean, supermarket, walking trails in walking distance. Very quiet place.

Weather was unfortunately terrible the entire time, and it was not an ideal place to be when you can't go outside (not a ton of light inside), though patio and yard would have been great if weather allowed. The two bedroom cottage had the most comfortable beds, the neighborhood was quiet and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking home meals. Although not on the water, it was a short walk to the dunes, the ocean and trails to the rock. We were close to Morro Bay golf course that my husband loved and I got to tour the Natural History Museum, the estuary and enjoy a scrumptious cafe meal at the harbor.

My mom and I drove up from LA to spend some time by the water and go to Paso Robles for some wine. As other reviews said, the beds are GREAT. I walked around the neighborhood a couple times and it was lovely. Also walked to the beach and a nearby Mexican restaurant. I was also able to work from the cottage—good Wi-Fi. It was warm in the cottage when we arrived and Barron was immediately available to walk us through the thermostat. The drive into Morro Bay is less than 5 minutes and it’s convenient to get to the 46 and the 41 to drive into Paso. Just great.

Quiet neighborhood, the house was just as described and had a well stocked kitchen. Beds and bedding were comfy and cozy. Backyard with grass perfect for our 2 small pets. So nice to sit outside in the morning and enjoy the peace and quiet before heading out to sight see and eat at our favorite restaurants and enjoy the area and wonderful seafood. The host was very responsive to the few questions I had, really everything is pretty well covered in the information provided. We didn't get a chance to use the outdoor spa, maybe next time because we will be back for sure. So much more relaxing and enjoyable than a hotel room. Only suggestion would be a ceiling fan in each bedroom. We had a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed oursleves very much at the Orchid Cottage. We had our two little dogs with us so having the fenced in back yard was a real treat. The cottage was very clean. The location is wonderful. The cottage is in a very nice quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked. I loved having the washer and dryer in the kitchen so I could multitask.
The cottage is well maintained. The landscaping is very nice.

Small house adequate for two people for a short trip
This place has potential to be very nice, but it is stuffed with too much furniture. There is no space to unpack a suitcase, and the closets are taken up with wall mounted TV's and spare blankets, sheets, etc. Beds have access on only one side, and a table blocks the end of the bed on the wall side so you need to be agile to climb over another person and furniture. The kitchen pots/pans are mostly not useable -- we had to clean two frying pans in order to use them. There is stuff everywhere, its like someone lived there and moved out only taking their clothes.... It does have a very nice partially fenced yard, allows dogs, and the beds are comfortable. Location is good, but would not recommend it for 4th of July if your dogs react to fireworks.

Location was perfect! Right between Cayucos and Morro Bay and very close to beach. Backyard and front patio allowed us to enjoy the beach weather. Home is small but cozy. Beds are very comfortable. Would rent again!
