Kürzlich renoviert, bietet dieses äußerst geräumige, voll ausgestattete Apartment im ersten Stock Platz für 4 Personen in 2 Schlafzimmern mit eigenem Bad, mit der Option (gegen Aufpreis) eines weiteren Schlafzimmers für bis zu 6 Personen.
Die Unterkunft ist hell und außergewöhnlich geräumig. Alle Schlafzimmer verfügen über eine moderne Dusche und einen Smart-TV.
Zwei der Schlafzimmer haben Reißverschluss zu verbinden das heißt, sie können entweder als ein Kingsize-Bett oder Einzelbetten gemacht werden. Das optionale dritte Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Super-Kingsize-Bett und eine Memory-Foam-Matratze.

Accommodation is in great location within the Peak District. Fantastic apartment with 3en-suite bedrooms. Accommodation was spotless and everything was provided for.

The property and location were really great. Really large very comfortable beds and an en suite shower room for each of the two bedrooms. Everything comfortable and clean. Plenty of space. We just found it difficult to comply with requests related to Covid: putting bedding and towels into bags that just were not there, putting food waste into a small bin left in a corner and not seen until we were leaving, opening a bedroom window which would not open.
Using a dishwasher without tablets is a challenge too. These are small things so don’t be put off: it is a great place. I had another problem in that I could not send messages to the host although I booked and paid. The friends we shared with COULD communicate with her perhaps because they were members of Vrbo. This needs to be sorted out. No fault of the property but where else do I say this!

Within a short walk are several pubs serving food, a small but well stocked convenience store, bakers, two chip shops and other small stores. It is ideally placed for access to great walks and other attractions. Although we did not meet our host, she was easily accessed by text and provided some print-outs of local walking suggestions when asked. We would highly recommend staying at this property and would love to return.

Lovely apartment and great location
Very comfortable rooms and modern facilities. Lovely location with great pubs, cafes with baker, butcher and greengrocer. Amazing pastries from Tindall’s especially the Tidza pud. Great location for Miller’s Dale and also getting onto the Monsal trail. Will definitely look to stay here again.

Very clean apartment, comfortable beds, good quality bedding. Quiet location with parking right outside. Very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of room. One of the sofas was a bit uncomfortable but otherwise nothing else to complain about (and there were two other sofas to use).

Great property, great location
Had a great stay! Host kept in communication. Property very spacious and clean, cosy. Took two dogs with us and the property was great for them. Enclosed garden to let them out. Ample parking, lovely location for exploring the Peak District. Lovely village with all essentials. Great stay.

Great location with good local pubs and beautiful walks.
This apartment feels like work in progress, it's almost there but not quite. It is lovely and spacious, the two double bedrooms are of a really good size and both have nice ensuites. It has a well equipped kitchen but sadly no space left to put your own food. The lounge is a lovely size but unfortunately the sofas have seen better days and were not at all comfortable, hopefully these will be replaced in the near future. It has a great entrance lobby where you can leave all your muddy boots, pushchairs etc. before going up to the apartment. It also has the added bonus of some private outside space off of the lounge. The decor looked a bit tired in places but on the whole this is a good apartment which just needs a few more updates to make it exceptional.

Lovely spacious apartment in good location.
We have enjoyed a great week in the Rockingham apartment.
The apartment was exactly as stated in the property details and was extremely comfortable and surprisingly spacious.
2 good sized bedroom, both with very nice en suites, a well equipped kitchen with dining table, a very large living room with three sofas and another dining table and a secluded outside patio also with a table and chairs.
Parking was always available right outside the apartment door and the entrance to the apartment was through a separate door to the main lodge and fitted with a key safe.
Tideswell is a very pleasant village with a couple of pubs serving food, a good food shop, a couple of nice restaurants and an excellent fish and chip shop..!
It is an excellent central location for exploring various points of interest in the Peak District.
I would unreservedly recommend the apartment and we are looking forward to returning in the near future.

The apartment was perfect for us in every way and 12 days was a perfect time to explore the local areas and beautiful countryside. The accommodation is spacious, very quiet and has everything you need, good size lounge, kitchen en suite bathrooms and comfortable beds. Laundry facilities also very good. We would recommend anyone wanting a quiet holiday and to to get away from it all, it is just a perfect place to stay. Also a gorgeous character village. Don’t hesitate to book this property! Well done Gill!!!

Excellent location close to pubs and restaurants. Clean and cosy. Massive bedrooms with en suite shower. Very well equipped for cooking etc. Stair gates and high chairs provided for little ones. Welcome tea bags, coffee and biscuits are a lovely touch. Not suitable for disabled unable to climb stairs as access to the apartment is up a flight of stairs.

Definitely 4 plus
6 of us staying 3 generations and we were all pleasantly surprised at our accommodation,good value for money,everything you need for a self catering break,great bathrooms in all 3 rooms,fully equipped kitchen with plenty of bits and pieces,nice little patio were we had a New Years eve barbie and Gill the kind owner let us use her garden to let off a few fireworks, Tideswell is lovely,Cathedral bells ringing for New Year and locals very nice,Horse and Jockey serve great food,we hope we can return at sometime in the future and Rockingham Lodge Apartments will be our first choice,for one more reason when Grandma and Grandad were in bed they couldnt hear any noise from the other rooms !

real gem of Derbyshire!
Just returned from a superb break in Tideswell staying at the Rockingham self catering appartment! It really is a lovely place to stay. So picturesque! Appartment was clean and spacious and really well equipped. The owner Gill was very helpful and met all our requests. We will definitely be returning soon hopefully. There are plenty of places to visit , with stunning views . Highly recommended to family and friends! Thank you!

Fantastic base
Had a really enjoyable time in Tideswell. Only spent two nights there but wish we'd had more time.
Went for really nice walks from the village without having to drive anywhere further and the village is brilliant - lovely shops, bakery and pubs.
The apartment is perfect. It's absolutely huge, very warm and very comfortable. We took our dog who loved the fire after a long walk. Have no hesitations in coming back or recommending to others.
Gill also made the checking in / out extremely easy to ensure a stress-free break.
Thanks for letting us use your lovely place, we will be back!

A Wonderful family property in Tideswell
We have enjoyed our stay in the property very much and will recommend it to our friends.
When we arrived the house was very clean and organised for our arrival.
Each double bed room has an en-suite bathroom which is very convenient.
The kitchen is very well equipped.
The location of Tideswell is very convenient for touring the peak district. Most of the attraction are less then 30 minutes drive, and one of the famous walks is 5 minutes drive.
Small supermarket is less then 3 minutes walk. The property does not have its own parking space but next to it there is a parking area so there is always parking available.

Great Apartment in Very Pretty Village
The apartment is huge, it has recently been refurbished to a high standard , loved the shower and the Superking size bed and even has small outside patio area - a bonus for our little dogs' morning 'outing' while we had a coffee. Gill, the owner, has ensured that there is everything you need in a home away from home, even putting a fresh pint of milk in the fridge and box of cakes on the kitchen table on our arrival. The free WiFi was a must for us with 2 12 year old girls and they loved having their own ensuite bathroom too.The location is fantastic, right in the middle of a gorgeous village, full of cottages with lovely hanging baskets full of colourful flowers. A wonderful base for a lovely visit to the Peak District, we would definitely recommend Rockingham Apartment.
