Eines von Follys Besten! Dieses klassische, komplett renovierte, gemütliche Strandhaus ist nur zwei Gehminuten vom Atlantik entfernt! Dieses Cottage mit 1 Queensize-Bett und 1 Bad verfügt über eine Schlafcouch im Wohnbereich und bietet Platz für bis zu drei Personen. Ein übergroßes antikes Glasfenster im Schlafzimmer verleiht diesem süßen Bungalow Romantik. Sea Glass befindet sich in einer ruhigen Wohngegend, nur sechs Häuserblocks von den Restaurants in der Center Street, dem Nachtleben und dem Angelpier entfernt. Es gibt einen Grillplatz und eine Wäscherei vor Ort. Das Haus hat auch eine private Veranda abgeschirmt.

Everything at property represented as is in listing.
Appreciated that we could bring our dogs and property was able to accommodate a last minute early checkin for added fee.
Rules/instructions were straight forward and house had everything we needed to make a rainy stay comfy and cozy.
We loved the little town of Folly. We have family in Charleston so this was close enough to be able to participate in the functions we travelled for but far enough away to feel like we had our own getaway.
My only complaint, truly, was the shower. The pressure was low and the temperature kept changing from hot to cold on its own. But I don’t personally book properties based on the shower, but just in case anyone reading this does…

This beach cottage was as listed and in the perfect location! Easy walking to town, the beach and easy to access downtown Charleston. I enjoyed staying in this cottage, however upon arrival there were several air fresheners that were extremely strong. For medical reasons, I cannot have intense smells. I reached out to the property manager who told me they did not have air fresheners in the house, yet I found 4 hidden. I wish they had been honest upfront. Otherwise, amazing stay! Highly recommend!

We loved the area. We enjoyed beautiful weather and Folly Beach itself is great!
The cottage and property management left a little to be desired. The grill didn't work. There was no regular oven. There was a convection oven but the rack needed to use the convection oven was missing. I called management and they weren't able to help. There were no instructions for the TV. The bed was covered with foam pads that bunched up making the bed very lumpy. The entire mattress and foam pads were encased in a zippered plastic cover so you were basically sleeping on a sheet of thick plastic. The bottom sheet was too small and wouldn't stay on the mattress, bunching up around you and again - you were left sleeping on a thick plastic cover. The cottage wasn't really very clean. It had obviously been gone through before we arrived but it appeared linens were changed and fresh towels put out but that was about it.

Cute, clean pet friendly cottage conveniently located near down town and quick access to the beach.
Small AC unit, but did the job well. If you prefer a cooler room to sleep in, I would recommend bringing an extra portable fan for the bedroom.
Also, there were not any covers on the couch cushions, which could be due to potential damage from pets, so I would recommend bringing a few extra blankets or sheets to protect the couch.
Overall, a wonderful, cozy stay.

My husband and I, and our two little pups enjoyed our week at Sea Glass cottage. The proximity to the beach access was easy to walk back and forth too and located far enough away from all of the activity that it felt peaceful for our little family but close enough to bike to Bert’s and Center street easily. The cottage is small but there’s plenty of seating and enough room. The bed was comfy and everything was clean. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. There isn’t a traditional oven/full stove but it was enough for breakfasts and small things and we even baked a pizza on the grill outside.
I really enjoyed reading on the screened in porch and the outside shower was great for rinsing off after the beach. We actually requested an additional day during our stay and that was taken care of easily. My only small complaint was that we could have used more bath towels and such. We ended up doing laundry so we just washed the two we had.
Overall a very nice stay.

We rented both cottages on the property to be able to stay together and it was perfect. We were able to take the dogs to the beach, walk to town and enjoy some great meals. Our fourth stay.

Great location. The back yard is beautifully landscaped. The kitchen has everything we needed. The squeaky bathroom floor was the only very minor complaint.

Cozy Boho Beach Cottage
Cottage two blocks from beautiful Folly Beach; two mins walk by public access path. Cottage (one br, kitchen, bath and living rm / dining rm and screened in veranda) is smallish but very charming. Place was clean, all mod cons, w parking right out front. We had slight glitch with our remote lock and property mgmt was all over it. Very pleased.

We enjoyed the cottage stay/experience. The cottage was darling, a few items were sketchy. The quality of renovations were not the best and the toilet tissue holder pulled out of the wall but we tried to look at that as part of the charm. I may utilitze VRBO for listing my house. Thank you! Michele

A Folly Favorite
We have stayed in many different cottages at Folly over the years, and we would rate Sea Glass as one of our favorites. Great location, nicely appointed, comfortable bed, relaxing front porch. We did have a noisy plumbing problem the first night we stayed, but Folly Best Rentals maintenance was at the unit the next morning to fix it. If all you need is a one bedroom unit, Sea Glass is a winner

Best Beach Bungalow!
Every so often things just work perfectly! The time, the place, the experience all come together. That was what our stay at Sea Glass Cottage was like. Adorable 1940s/ 1950s vibe and so well appointed. Everything we needed right at our fingertips. Our two small dogs loved the beach, two blocks away and the daily walks had so many interesting smells and other dogs to greet. Another plus is that it is six long blocks from the center of town so once you are finished with Folly Beach nightlife you can return to the peace and quiet of this lovely neighborhood. We loved it so much, we have already recommended it to friends and we will definitely be back!

Great beach cottage
This is a true beach cottage, with lots of charm. Very cute and comfy, and spotless when we arrived. We loved the location, about six blocks from downtown and a quick walk to the beach. Previous posts complained about the mattress but it seemed new and was really comfortable. We were happily surprised that there was an outdoor shower and hose to clean off our beach gear. Our only complaint would be how warm it got in the bedroom at night. Otherwise, everything was great. We will definitely be back!

Everything was as presented. Place was delightful and perfect for the two of us and our dog. Only minor problem was operation of heat unit, just couldn't figure out how to operate it. Bed was very comfortable. All in all, very happy--would come back.
