beautifully presented, quiet location, great to be able to bring our dogs, comfy bed and great selection for breakfast

The comfy beds and cosy bedrooms
The lady who owned the property was so lovely, however there were some disappointments.
When I enquired I was told we had the whole house but the accommodation was in a downstairs area. The lounge was in a cold garage, that was actually still a garage... it was not converted and there was a cat roaming free in there. I have a high allergy to cats resulting in Asmatic symptoms. As a result this was unusable so our family of 6 spent evenings in a bedroom watching basic tv. The kitchen had 3 barstools, limited cooking facilities, so we ended up having to eat out instead.
For 2 nights we had to hear the man upstairs shouting and swearing at the tv, this made myself and children feel very uncomfortable, especially as there was no lockable door from the B&B area to the main house.
I felt we paid way to much for very limited facilities.

Amazing gardens and views, quiet lush location was the perfect romantic stay. We took advantage of the spa under the moonlight. Outdoor private patio area with bbq looked tempting for next time. Loved the breakfast provisions and we purchased from Sue’s gorgeous store. Highly recommend, we will be back

Beautiful rooms and a wonderful garden in a very peaceful spot. Nice restaurant and supermarket within ten minute drive.
When it rains, the outside table for breakfast is lost, and the stools and breakfast bar are a bit tight for more than two people

The property was beautiful and fabulously equipped. Decor was lovely and garden divine. The owner makes soap and it was provided in the shower/bathroom. Really luxurious and made my skin feel wonderful.

The spatious outdoor area, the comfy room, SPA, deck, breakfast and the friendly host!
Would love to have a indoor lounge area, rather than the extra room just for two people. We can see this is great space for family to hang out!!

Lovely 3 bedroom downstairs accommodation with everything needed. Gorgeous big garden and BBQ, deck, spa available. There was a chance my son might need to stay the last night, and although that didn't happen, they were happy for it, if needed. The washer/dryer was handy and I liked that I could throw my towels in there to wash and dry as I left the place, to help out. The homemade breakfast muesli was yummy!
I got the impression the husband hates providing accommodation because he man tantrums a bit and has a real potty mouth and i worried for Sue, who came over to apologise for the renovations that werent going well upstairs and the skillsaw noise. The skillsaw wasnt the problem.. So, if you have children, best not book there.

The selection of breakfast which I wasn't expecting and the private access to the spa with the view of the Mt Maunganui and Matakana Island. The fresh fruit & chocolates were a lovely touch.

Second time stay for us because we loved there a lot. Clean rooms and very beautiful massive garden. Also the hosts Sue and Don are really nice and lovely. We will definitely come back again.

Lovely set-up with some nice extra's - fruit bowl, chocolates, extra bits in the bathroom. Nicely done. Great spa pool and lovely garden setting.
