We loved our stay here! The hosts are very kind to us and made everything to feel us comfortable. There's a room where you can cook and making some good coffee. The house is really cute and there is a beautiful view from the garden. We can highly recommend it!!

We loved everything about our short stay. Our hosts were lovely and have thought of everything. The interior of the rooms is very tasteful and all about having a nice stay. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the exterior (garden) of the house as well and the view from our room in the morning. Heavenly.

Loved the secluded drive coming to property surrounded by vineyards and country garden with views over the mountains. We booked 2 rooms for 1 night. Rooms was beautifully decorated with all the comforts that one would need, even mosquito repellent, a fan, & books and the most comfortable mattrass. I also loved the veranda to enjoy our morning expresso while the chooks scratched for their morning breakfast too. I would definately stay again and can highly recommend this beautiful country stay and friendly host - thank you indeed !

Nice clean room in a cottage next to the house of the owners, comfortable bed and bathroom. The location is quiet but close to town .We loved the garden .

We were very well received! You will stay in a spacious room with all the necessary comforts. The bathroom is very nice too. You will share a common space with another room. However, we were alone that day and we did not meet any other holidaymakers. The common area is equiped with a fridge, microwave and coffee and tea machine but there is no toaster or something to cook. However, the owners are very helpful and do not hesitate to share all the necessary equipment if you wish to cook :) A great experience overall that we strongly recommend! And the exterior and the owners are very cool!

I loved everything about Doorways, it was just what i was looking for as a getaway in Barrydale. The room was spacious and clean, the setting was perfect in a vineyard / garden setting with views over the valley. The bed was more than comfy with quality linen and the north facing room was bright and light. The hosts were welcoming, and the doggies were too.... next time I will stay longer than one night.

It couldn't have been better than it already was. Google needs to get the location right though, they led me a merry drive to find it and kept indicating the opposite side of the main road. Mind you Google seemed to have much or a problem finding the exact spot in Cape Town too.

everything was absolutely perfect! The location with the incredible view, the room was also very clean and well decorated, the equipments were also very good, you have everything you need, and the host were very welcoming! They gave us a lot of good recommendations and explained us a lot about South Africa! I highly recommend this place!

Very friendly hosts and beautiful setting.

It took a while to get hot water in the bath tub but my wife got enough water in eventually.

Daphne and Kevin were very kind and helpful. The extra common room with coffee machine, etc. was a real bonus. The gardens are beautiful.

Our open-plan bathroom (no door) was a little disconcerting!

Doorways is a beautiful place, we always stay over here. Daph is an amazing host always going the extra mile, the units are extremely well equipped, comfortable beds with beautiful linen.

Firstly Daphne is a great host. The attention to detail was amazing. Suggestions were really well received. The accommodation is 5 Star. Clean, modern, fresh, beautiful and located in town. Loved our one night stay.

Most beautiful well manicured gardens with a spectacular mountain view from room. Friendly and helpful owners. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated. Easy access to all restaurants and shops and safe parking on on the property. Highly recommended and a 10 from us.

The apartment is well-designed with attention to detail, especially the kitchenette. Good mattress, crisp linen with a fine thread-count.
