The location and the view are good.

There are a lot of problems. The key box is very low down which is difficult if you have mobility problems (like I do). The entrance is dingy. Inside the apartment everything is a bit tired, paint flaking off etc. Single glazing so in the storm we had there was a howling draft coming in. The said there were toiletries so I didn't pack any, then had to shower the first night using hand soap (not nice). There is no shower curtain (there is a screen to the side and a bar where the shower curtain should be) so you have to focus to not flood the bathroom. The shower tray is very slippery and there is no mat. The TV is too high up to see it and it's at 90 degrees to the sofa, so if you're planning a lazy afternoon watching films when it's raining it's not great. Parking is almost impossible. I really struggled to find somewhere to park and in the end had to use an app to book parking on someone's drive. The two worst things though were the boiler and the neighbours. The boiler in in the bedroom. At first I thought someone had turned on a spin washing machine at 1 am but I realised it's the boiler which is set to go off in the middle of the night for some unfathomable reason. It makes a noise like a washing machine spinning in the bedroom and then it goes off again in the early hours. Looking back I probably should have raised it with the owner as putting up with broken sleep every night for two weeks was not nice. The very worst thing though, which is outside of the owners control is that someone in the building is smoking something that smells like cannabis every evening. The smell was overpowering at times. Overall it was a lot of money for a view so I wouldn't stay here again.

entrance hall dark, stained carpet, chipped paint work ,damp smell. mirror surround in kitchen badly cracked in 2 places. left 2 days early. expensive to park not fully explained before booking
