A true gem with amazing views of the island! The decor is a perfect accent to the whole cottage experience. With windows that span the front of the cottage, the morning sunrise is spectacular. From the dock, the sunset will never disappoint. Can’t wait to stay again!

Perfect spot for our family in all aspects including use of the mooring for our boat so that we could participate in water sports etc... and traveling back & forth to home port as needed across the Bay. Simply Amazing views!

The views are amazing from this seaside cottage. It’s fully equipped and peaceful. We really enjoyed relaxing here and would love to see the gardens in full bloom. Vicente was very responsive. We will be back!

We just stayed there last week and it was PERFECT!! The house is absolutely adorable with the most beautiful view. Even sitting inside watching the butterflies and hummingbirds outside the window is like out of a novel. It is the perfect location for some R&R. I am a photographer and I was in heaven with the magical sunrises and sunsets. We will be back for sure!! A must see!!

Having spent many childhood summers at Prudence, I already knew I loved the Island but was blown away at what a gem this house was. The cottage is impeccably maintained. They really thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The house had clean crisp linens, pots/pans/dishes, games, WiFi, lovely patio furniture and too many little touches to list. We enjoyed smores by the fire pit on our last night - with the ocean as our backdrop. The cottage is an easy walk to the ferry which also has a general store. We hope to stay again.

This is our second year at Vicente's place and we are about to book for next year. With it's private dock and little beach, lovely outdoor covered porch, screened porch and an un-covered porch, you couldn't have more options. The yard is lovely and well kept and it has been the most wonderful quiet retreat for us for the past couple of years. Vicente is a wonderfully responsive host as well. We had WiFi issues this year and he was really on top of it, sending the cable company and when that didn't work, sending us a jetpack. In the end we were without WiFi (except on our phones) for most of the stay as apparently there were issues on the whole island. Vicente gave us a partial refund for our trouble even though it was not his fault. In addition to the adorable and well appointed cottage, he really has it well stocked with kitchen and bathroom items and, BIG BONUS, it's got AC and a washer and dryer and outdoor shower. As long as my 25 and 28 year old single kids are willing to take a week's vacation with their mom, we'll be going to Vicente's place on Prudence!

The location, along with the wonderful outdoor spaces (front porch/screened porch/veranda/back porch/dining area in the yard), make this rental very desirable and special! We greatly appreciated that the host was also very generous with the quality & quantity of linens/bath towels/beach towels provided. The only small item that could be improved upon would be the kitchen being better stocked in terms of spices and condiments. We truly enjoyed being able to spend our time on Prudence at this rental. Added bonus, the rental is dog-friendly so our furry family member was able to join us.

I’ve visited PI for 51 years and stayed in many rentals. This is by far my favorite place. Not only is the house a well equipped, beautiful airy destination but the neighbors are so friendly. The owner is always timely in responding to our questions and we can tell he loves PI just as much as we do by the way he cares for his property.

The cottage and the Island were so beautiful and serene. Vicente is a great host and the experience was lovely. Hopefully one day I will rent this property again.

Vicente was absolutely fantastic as always! Very accommodating and made sure the dock got in just in time for our stay. Can’t say enough about this property and host. We’ll be back in August and September!!

This is my third time staying at this house. It never fails to be a completely restorative week. Totally relaxing, beautiful views, outdoor shower, bike riding, cooking and eating outside. All perfect. I will be back again.

This is a really special property! The house itself is so charming, and it had everything we could have wanted: amazing views, beach, dock, multiple porches each with their own perks, a private back yard, and comfortable accommodations. This was our first trip to Prudence Island, and we fell in love with it. The island is so peaceful and beautiful. We hiked, fished, read, swam, and enjoyed beautiful sunsets and sunrises. We can't wait ti come back!

This property is homey, spacious, and just wonderful! The screened porch and covered porch were pretty much where we hung out if we weren't on the private beach or dock right in front of the house. It was great to have a place with AC and lots of ceiling fans as it can get pretty hot and muggy on the island. Vicente was an awesome host, responded quickly to our questions, had the place equipped with everything from spices and some condiments to towels, sheets, beach chairs, etc. The loft is adorable and my 6 ft tall 24 year old son didn't even let his 27 year old sister look at it before claiming it as his space! The yard in back is quite large and our spirited whoodle loved running in circles in the yard and racing down the dock to the beach! The perfect relaxing vacation to get away from everything. The house is also in a great location on the island, within easy walking distance of the ferry and Post Office/General Store and a nice area to walk in. Vicente also provides trash bags (which must be purchased on the island) and a trash and recycle bin in the back. This is a great bonus as if it is not provided there is a hefty fee for using the dump on the island with your only other choice being to put the trash in your car and take it off island with you. This property has it all! Wonderful views, beautiful yard and flowers, along with everything you need for a relaxing time away.

Quaint country cottage with remarkable view. Gardens around the home and one of a kind stone wall make it like no other on the island. Find shade and cool breeze on the large porch or sun out by the fire pit. Park your car and bike the whole way, north to south. Sit and relax or hike and swim, we did it all.

Amazing Prudence island getaway. The house was perfect as expected. New AC unit and new washer/dryer this year.

Beautiful views and a well-appointed property. As an avid gardener, I loved the many lovely perennials and potted annuals. My big dog enjoyed hours of swimming in the bay and watching us fly kites. Our kids enjoyed the freedom to come and go from the house to the dock and meeting the other kids living nearby. We grilled and read and sat on the screened in porch, watched fireworks and generally did absolutely nothing. We had a very relaxing time and enjoyed unparalleled views of the water, sailboats and the bridge. We are already planning a return for next Summer!
