It was terrible. They confirmed me 1 day before that the information regarding the “self check in” would be sent before 3 pm. But, they sent it at 6:26 pm. So, for that reason I needed to book another stay and I lost my money with them. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone because of the lack of professionalism. We were in touch since many days ago because I tried to cancel it, but they were aware that I was still coming. It was a terrible experience.

Good for a surfer . Just know if you come after 4pm there’s a combo lock in front to get room key .I was totally lost , thanks to the workers at surf camp across the street I got my key . I called number and nobody answered at my hotel . After being chased out of the next door hotel parking lot by some crazed woman and had to repark on street after she wouldn’t accept money so i could asses the situation.just know that if you arrive after 4 like I did

Location was great. Very close to the beach, town center. The breakfast was excellent and ample. The staff were very helpful and nice. I appreciate the air conditioning and hot water. And I think it gives the best value for your money in the vicinity.

Sometimes, the water pressure was low (upstairs room). I understand from the staff that this was a city issue. This will be of more benefit to the hotel: Better insulation at the door could probably save them more on energy cost.

Well situated hotel in Tamarindo! Props to the staff for keeping it clean, as well as my room! Great stay, amazing coffee and free breakfast at their Cafe, and all around, everything was perfect. Will recommend to everyone I meet!

I read some of the reviews after I booked, but before I stayed, so I was concerned about a few water pressure reviews, but for me that was not the case as the water in the shower was hot and had good pressure, but not that I care anyways. Rest of the reviews seem on point, as the rooms were great, they have a mini fridge too which maybe I didn't see on their listing. The lady at the reception was super nice and they have a nice cafe next door for breakfast, and amazing coffee! Beach is in front, economy rental car next door and I just walked the beach and town. This is the perfect location

Overall, the stay was great, no complaints at all. The beach is right across the road, and surfing as well, which is pretty cool, I never really seen that before. It seems to be an automative hotel which is a cool concept but I enjoyed it, you don't have to talk to any staff. But they do have a coffee shop next door with breakfast included, where you will find the manager, etc

Everything was great, will be back again.

At the beginning when we did the reservation for the first time they treated us really badly and they cancelled our reservation. They insinuated that we were thieves or that we were not going to pay just because we had confusion with the card. Also on the page when you are doing the reservation, at the end when you pay they said they only gonna charge you for the stay and you need to pay the taxes at the place when you get there, but they charged us the whole thing and when we mentioned them that they treated us as liars. Then we book again because of the price, but when we got there we never saw people in reception and no one was there to help us in any case. Definitely their custom service is really bad.

Loved how close to the beach this was. The rooms were clean and excellent with cold a/c and hot water. Check in was automated and easy. would definitely stay here again

Have to walk across town to get to the discotecas but it’s only 10 minutes, which makes this location pretty quiet

water leaking from ceiling, we accidentally booked a wrong day and they refused to refund or transfer the date, no cleaning in room occurred.

no one works here so it feels very impersonal, there was a bad smell of sewage near our room and it was overpriced.

Pretty much everything else. No running water legitimately half the time. Even when the toilet was finally able to flush, there was no water from the shower. Two of the four lights were flickering most of the time. No action from staff apart from being very apologetic. Had the opportunity to move out a night early and asked well in advance if this was possible and was told that they could completely understand why and would message the owner. I never got a response even after messaging several times. Honestly one of the worst places I've ever stayed and by far the worst value for money I've ever experienced. Only stay here as a last resort.

Decent location.

Staff was not available throughout the stay. Was only there for check in and check out. Unresponsive to messages on Booking.com or WhatsApp. Water pressure in the shower was non existent. We had to quasi shower in the outside shower.

Location and overall building was quaint and quite nice.

No hand towels or face cloths, just two bath towels. The floor needed to be washed, and there was still a toothbrush left in the bathroom from the previous stay. There was some general maintenance that needed to be done, such as loose hinges and locks.
