No breakfast. And we found no sodas in walking distance for breakfast. 2 excellent restaurants for lunch and dinner. Plus a Chinese restaurant which we didn't try.

The room and balcony were beautiful and clean. Housekeeping was very friendly and always made sure our room was clean. The beach is only a few feet from the front of the hotel, and it is a short walk to all of the restaurants in Tamarindo. We walked to dinner every night and always felt perfectly safe. We kept to the road and there were always a lot of people walking at night. The beach is beautiful, not a lot of shade though, so if you need shade, you'll have to walk towards town and rent one of the beach umbrellas. The water is nice for swimming.
LOL, I wish there had been an ice machine, it would have made our beach trips easier. There were definitely animals in the walls, but that was more of a source of amusement than something bad. It is to be expected in that part of the world.

Good location on a quiet end of Tamarindo beach. Close to all restaurants and shops.
Nice and clean rooms.
Terrible road noise if you have a street facing room. Motorcycles are buzzing around all night.

Proximity to town was great and the little patio was a nice feature
The music in the restaurant was very loud and riggt next to or under the rooms. Access to the beach was flooded

Fantastic property! Close to the beach and the rooms look identical to the pictures. What you see is exactly what you get. Sandy runs the place and she is so nice and welcoming and truly cares about her guests.
Only downside is the restaurant next door can get a little loud sometimes but it’s not too bad really and things usually get quiet by 10 at the latest.

Amazing location, awesome room, friendly staff, fantastic restaurant.
Towels were really tiny.

The location is good next to the beach. It is a walking distance of the city centre. Wifi was good, aircon worked fine and grand old Lady in reception was very helpful. The rooms are clean and the hotel seems safe.
In my opinion, the room was smaller than was written on booking.com. Our 4-bed room for four adults was a bit tiny. As it was heavy raining during our stay, we had to stay a lot in a room and we did not like a half-open "bar-door" to the bathroom, it did not give needed privacy to visit toilet...

Accommodation is attached to local bar and restaurant great staff very friendly
Sandie is lovely and will look after you
If they can possible build a walkway to the beach it would enhance the stay as the it was a little tricky to jump the stream.

Host was nice. Hotel is well-located. Restaurant downstairs is nice.
The wifi didn’t work for more than 24hours. We woke up there was no electricity. No cleaning service for the room. Same towels for days. Only 2 power plugs in the room.

It is right on the beach, nice lounging area with hammocks, there is a very friendly and cute cat, close to pharmacy, out of the way of the noise in the city center.
not the owners fault but the restaurant hosted an all day concert and it was quite loud. the owner was upset about it too. Also i tried to shorten my stay and booking.com said it would be free cancellation yet I was unable to get a refund from either party.

The location to the canal so we could visit playa grande easy and the location to the town was perfect.
I like more blankets (I might be the only one lol)

The location was great for going to the beach and walking toward the town. A less busy part of the beach, which was great to enjoy! Definitely get a beach facing room!
The entire wall is a window and the curtains are a bit transparent.

Nothing
I had a booking here for 7 nights, but only managed to stay the first night.
First issue: cleanliness. I don’t think that bathroom was ever cleaned. I tried cleaning it with some wet wipes and the dirt was immediately coming off - proving that there was basically no cleaning service.
Second issue: this is not really hotel, but rather a couple of rooms inside a restaurant! Even to reach your room you need to walk through the tables of the restaurant. This means NOISE. A lot of noise. From lunch time till after midnight - people talking loudly, plates, super loud music. There is no option of getting any rest here. I could barely sleep few hours over the first night (until 7 am when they started to spray the garden with some disinfectant solution). I decided to change the hotel after the first night. Of course, I did not get any of my money back (the manager tried to offer me a different room, but all rooms are so so so close and the noise would have been the same).
Please DO NOT STAY HERE. This is really not a hotel, just some rooms inside a restaurant, not worth ruining your vacation for this

Location: short walk to beach and shops /restaurants.easy parking and easy to check-in /check out.
Clean and an amazing restaurant just besides it
Room is of a nice size with a fridge
No tea/coffee tho.
Bathroom could do with ventilation (very humid so smells a bit).
Noise : we had some lovely quiet nights but walls are thin so you can hear your neighbours (talking or listening to loud music). Music from the restaurant drops early so it is no bother at all

location was out of hustle and bustle of town but easy walk
parking is off street but exposed

View from window
location to quiet part of beach.
Away from noise of Town
Felt private
This is more of a. Motel than a hotel . I had a room overlooking the garden without a balcony
you couldn’t open the window , side lamp broken . Cleaned every day
No table nor chairs . Staff pleasant . The expensive restaurant is a separate business from the ‘hotel’ but dominates. No good for breakfasts
Warning. Costa Ricans very very noisy people, but helpful Every restaurant in the area
filled with bang bang disco. . An insult to lovely real CR music
