Taormina is one of our favorite places. Carlo was extremely nice, friendly and professional. We enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect. Close to town; across the street is the tram to the beach; and location has easy car access. Definitely would stay here again.

Wonderful host, location and view. The rental is not exactly a house but two apartments a floor apart, with separate entrances. May not work for all family arrangements, but fine for two couples. Spotlessly clean. There is not, however, any place to sit snd relax, at least on the lower floor, other than the kitchen table or the outdoor terrace, which may not always be desirable. The baths are top notch, but the beds are slightly uncomfortable. All in all, a great place, but could use some improvement.

Carlos greeted us at the door and was attentive to all our needs the four days we stayed. He helped us navigate transportation. The patio and view were a highlight. Getting to the shore was a breeze with the cable car across the street. Our multi-generation family of 9 people highly recommend this place for its convenient and quiet location.

Location was fantastic. 1-2 minute walk and you have stores, restaurants and shopping. Just amazing location. We rented both floors for 8 adults and it was perfect. The outside terrace is very large and a great place to have a drink and relax. The owner and his entire family were very helpful and made us feel like extended family. The owner also helped us arrange a gourmet meal cooked by a local chef and his staff. We visited 4 cities while in Italy and this VRBO was our favorite. We will definately return to spend time with our new friends

What a beautiful spot. We were in Taormina for a family wedding and it was great, everyone being able to stay together in one place and spend the evenings together enjoying some italian wine and admiring the view. Maurizio was a fantastic host!

This villa consists of 2 fully self contained 2 bedroom apartments with a/c, a garage for your car. There is also a massive terrace overlooking the sea. The location is perfect, directly in front of the cable car which takes you to the beach and less than a 5 minute walk to the historic center. Maurizio was the perfect host, very polite and friendly and always available to answer questions and give advice. I can definitely recommend Maurizio's villa.

Taormina is a jewel of a town, and the location of this apartment cannot be beaten. Very clean, with stunning views. Walk to all of Taormina’s best spots, and the host is very friendly and helpful. Parking is at a premium, but that would be the case with any accommodation in this compact town nestled on the hills above the ocean.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Maurizio's villa! The view from the terrace was amazing and all the bedrooms were very comfortable. The location is perfect, it's across the street from the cable car that will take you down to the beach, a 1 minute walk to the gas station so you can buy food and drinks, a 5 or 6 minute walk to the Teatro Massimo, and a 3 minute walk to the main street that has all the restaurants and shops. Maurizio and his son were very helpful during the check in and check out process, and despite the language barrier everything went very smoothly.

We were eight people (6 adults and 2 kids) who stayed at the place for one week. The location is grelt, the view is spectaculaire, and the place has everything you need. Maurizio is very friendly and helpful. We would definetely come back here :-)

Two units with two bedrooms each one above the other. Terrace overlooking water. Great views, across street from cable car from beach, short walk to everything in town. The host, Maurizio is excellent in every way. Parking is always a hassle in these towns, but he makes contact early and is standing by with a blocked out space. Our stay was too short in such beautiful surroundings.

Just below the pedestrian street, away from city noise and with views to the water. Plenty of space on the spacious terrace. We were a family of 8 Inc. 2 children between 4 and 8 years, and we rented the entire House. We had space both indoors and out. The cable car to beach is located right In front of the house. We spent most time on the terrace that lay half in shadow from early in the afternoon. Owner Maurizio helped us in every way possible with recommendations for restaurants ect. It is an ideal place for a family, and we'd love to come back.

We spend five nights at this apartment and it was a perfect location to walk to town or down to the beach. The terrace is a great place to hang out at the end of the day and look towards a great view of the sea. The apartment was clean and worked perfectly for our family of five. Additionally, we rented the apartment above us that was perfect for a family of six. Maurizio was a great host who went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. We will return to Taormina sometime and stay here again.

Maurizio, the owner, is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Since he lives upstairs, he's always around and helpful with any issues or recommendations of places to visit or eat. His whole family was very nice as well as I met his sons coming in and out of the gate. I went with 3 friends and we stayed in the 1st floor apartment. There was enough space for all four of us in the apartment. We spent almost every night drinking bottle(S) of wine on the terrace admiring the view. It is the most amazing view I have ever seen. The water never ends. Two bedrooms and bathrooms were helpful with 4 people. The cable car to go to the beach is across the street. The entrance to the city is up the street to the left. And the bus terminal is down the street on the right. It will get you to Catania airport (about an hour away) which is MUCH closer than Palermo. There's a great restaurant across the street near the arch. Best pistachio pesto I've ever had.

Rented all 4 units for 2 weeks for four couples. Excellent choice. Great location - close to Messina Gate in Taormina. We went shopping and cooked almost everyday. Fresh produce and food was amazing. For my birthday we (the owner) arranged for a chef to come to cook traditional Sicilian fare for the eight of us. The result was an amazing feast that lasted for a few days. We all loved Sicily and we all loved this location, the accommodation and the helpfulness of the property owner. I would recommend it to anyone.

My family of 6 rented the entire unit for a six night stay and couldn't have been more pleased with the apartment. The location is perfect. Is is a very short walk to one of the main gates of Taormina so you can easily reach all the sights in the town within minutes. Across the street is the cable car which takes you down to the beach and Isola Bella. Hint - you can walk down from a set of stairs at the end of the street near a lookout point. A short walk up the street there is a small store with basic supplies such as water and very reasonably priced wine. Just around the corner is a great restaurant called Sapori di Mare which was recommended by the owner of the apartment and turned out to be one of the best restaurants we ate at in Sicily. The Taormina bus terminal is a 5 minute walk down the street so if you are arriving by bus it is an easy walk to the apartment. We also caught a tour bus to the Aeolian islands from this terminal and a bus for a day trip to Catania. The apartments are very well equipped with everything you may need for cooking your own meals and are extremely spacious and very clean. The upstairs unit has a very modern kitchen and was obviously recently renovated. A washer is available in each unit as are hair dryers. However the highlight of the property is the very large terrace, and a few smaller terraces that are part of the upper unit. The views were incredible and we looked forward to sitting outside each night. Communication with the owner was very straightforward and he always provided us with excellent advice about the area. Taormina itself is a great base location to see sights in Eastern Sicily. If we return to Sicily we will definitely stay here again.

Situato di fronte all'ingresso della funivia, a pochi passi dal centro, l'appartamento è in una posizione davvero strategica. Dotato di tutti i comfort, le camere da letto sono spaziose e con l'aria condizionata (che non abbiamo utilizzato in quanto gli ambienti sono freschi e le finestre con le zanzariere possono restare aperte tutto il tempo), i bagni funzionali. La biancheria freschissima. La cucina ha un ampio frigorifero, ed oltre alle comuni stoviglie, c'è anche il forno a microonde ed il tostapane. L'intera palazzina è stata ristrutturata di recente e tutti gli ambienti sanno di nuovo e di pulito. Ma il vero pezzo forte è la terrazza che affaccia sul mare, attrezzata per cene all'aperto complete di panorama mozzafiato o per godere di un momento di relax nella frescura serale. L'ospitalità, l'accoglienza e la disponibilità dei padroni di casa, ha contribuito a rendere ancora più indimenticabile questo soggiorno. Enzo e Maria

Siamo 2 coppie che hanno soggiornato in questa residenza la prima settimana di agosto. I proprietari sono persone gentili discrete e disponibili per qualsiasi domanda o richiesta gli venga posta. L'abitazione corrisponde in pieno alle foto pubblicate sul sito, quindi l'enorme terrazza vista mare che vedete è reale e ad uso esclusivo di chi ci soggiorna. Le camere sono dotate di aria condizionata, utile visto che la sera a Taormina c'era un tasso di umidità abbastanza elevato, e rispettivamente dispongono di un bagno ciascuno. La cucina è spaziosa, ed avrete la possibilità di mangiare sia in casa che fuori. Tutte queste cose basterebbero per dare un giudizio positivo, ma il vero punto forza è la posizione. Si trova a 50 / 80 metri da porta Messina, che è l'ingresso della zona pedonale e quindi il vero centro storico e vitale della città. Quindi a poca distanza trovate il teatro greco, la villa comunale, bar, ristoranti e locali per la sera. Sempre li a porta Messina c'è mercato comunale, aperto tutte le mattine, e i bus navetta gratuiti che ogni 10 minute possono portarvi al parcheggio coperto per le auto (servizio molto efficiente fino alle 2 di notte). Nel caso non siate muniti di auto l'abitazione si trova di fronte alla funivia che porta direttamente alle spiagge di Mazzarò. L'esperienza è stata decisamente positiva, ma non poteva essere altrimenti quando cominciavi le giornate con la vista mozzafiato sul mare che vi offre questa abitazione.
