Friendly staff all through out the site! The girl on Reception was very helpful and polite! Bar staff went above and beyond at breakfast ! Evening and breakfast food was fantastic

Camsite location-somewhere for my bike
Webdote mentioned restaurant. When I rang to book I was told it did not open Tuesday. This is a problem if cycling as I don’t want to ride after a day on the saddle or in the dark. I had to pay £20 for a pizza costing £9.50 as it was the minimum spend for delivery. Breakfast too had no juice or cereals.

bed was not long enough and not particularly comfortable. there was no warning when booking that on Saturday nights that there is live entertainment till 1130pm. it was literally so loud below us the floor was vibrating. we are not fuddy duddies by any means but was ridiculously loud. thank goodness we didn’t have kids with us. needed an extra blanket.

Amazing location, fabulous setting and facilities, our apartment was superb and so warm after us not being able to attend with our motorhome for our Xmas Dinner with our rally club we were so thankful to be able to book a room on the complex and still be able to enjoy the gathering.
Such friendly staff and our Christmas 3 course Dinner Saturday night and our breakfast Sunday morning was out of this world.
Our apartment was very warm, so homely and welcoming, the finish of our room was just fantastic and well worth the money. Thank you so much

The location was only 15 minutes drive from my appointment the next day. Staff were very friendly. The room was modern and clean with a comfortable bed. Free unsecured wifi. Decent bar.
There are no evening meals Monday, through Thursday and breakfast is from 09.00am. The room got cold and the electric heater did not appear to work.

The breakfast was lovely and plentiful and hot. The location was nice and central for us with our travels. The room looked as good as new and was very clean and tidy
The parking on the Friday night was difficult with a mass influx of clients on Friday night. The shop would not open during opening times due to staff shortage.

Rooms are large with private balcony, very clean, well looked after and decorated to a high standard. Staff are friendly and helpful. Tasty breakfast included with the stay. Lovely place to stay and would highly recommend.
I didn't notice when booking that the bed has a footplate so not very comfy if you are tall.

The welcome was very friendly indeed. The explanations of where the room was were clear and the chap & lady who checked me in were very chatty! All good. The room was excellent; well-appointed, immaculately clean and very comfortable. I travel a lot and this was one of the better rooms I have stayed in. Bathroom really clean and modern with plenty of towels; really good! The bar is well-stocked and there is a lot to do if you are there for a holiday; we were just passing through.
Whilst the bar is well-stocked, my two gins & tonic were served in a beer glass. No lemon or lime was available. No; I'm not being churlish; small things make a difference! The breakfast wasn't great to be honest. Apart from the fact that the service was slow, my partner's bacon sandwich was completely cold and my sausages weren't great, but that shouldn't stop you staying here; I guess we were towards the end of Sunday breakfast. One more thing, checkout is at 10, which doesn't allow for a lie-in AND breakfast!

Lack of information about breakfast. Still having to strip bed and put with dirty towels, the bags were not supplied as stated in the room information.

The room balcony
We've a young child and was charged over £6 for a miniature cereal packet plus a tot of milk. Massively overcharged in my opinion.

Spacious, clean, well furnished bedroom and bathroom. Air-con was excellent and balcony nice to sit out on. Breakfast was well cooked and plentiful. Overheard other customers being very complimentary about evening meals. Staff very welcoming and bar/entertainment of a good quality. Location good for exploring Dartmoor. On exploring the site you could see it was well maintained with campers/caravaners enjoying spacious pitches.

The Restaurant. The Restaurant was very dark. Also Friday and Saturday night very loud music till12pm

The pillows on the bed were really uncomfortable could definitely use new ones. Made the nights sleep more uncomfortable. Wouldn’t really advertise it as a country club as made it hard to find. It’s above the bar and restaurant on a campsite. No problem with that just the description didn’t really match what we were trying to find on the map

There was no food available on site in the evening so we had to go out and about. Difficult as the road works on the A361 means you can't turn right.
