Ort! Stil! Eleganz! Dieses restaurierte "Strandhaus" ist eine fantastische Kombination aus allem, was ein tolles Ferienobjekt sein sollte. Einen halben Block von der Duval Street im historischen Viertel entfernt, ist diese Lage nicht zu schlagen. Die Geschichte des Hauses ist reich an der historischen Gato-Zigarrenfabrik, die jetzt restauriert und als Bezirksbüro genutzt wird. Der Duval Square befindet sich direkt gegenüber, mit drei Restaurants, Geschäften und sogar einem Salon und Supermarkt. Das beste hausgemachte Eis in Key West ist gleich die Straße runter!
Das Haus ist wunderschön mit warmen Farben eingerichtet und mit raffinierten Möbeln mit kubanischen Motiven ausgestattet. Es gibt sowohl ein Wohnzimmer als auch einen Lesebereich vor dem Haus und einen Innen- / Außenraum, um den tropischen Lebensstil von Key West zu genießen. Ein großer Bauernhaustisch befindet sich im Wintergarten mit französischen Fenstern und Türen mit Blick auf den Pool direkt an der neuen Küche mit schwarzen Granitplatten und Edelstahlgeräten.

Excellent location. House was spotless and very safe/secure. Comfort on all levels; patio and pool were fabulous. Bedrooms were spacious and VERY comfortable. Living room, kitchen and dining were relaxing/functional. Highly recommend this location/home for your adventures in Key West!

The house was a perfect size for our family. We had room to stretch out and enjoy ourselves. The pool is a little bit small, but heated and in the shade, which was nice in the afternoons when we come back from the beach.
Location was great. Just a few steps from Duval Street. Our teenage daughter and her friend were able to walk and get food and smoothies and we didn’t worry about at all. Being a few steps off of Duval I will say it was a bit noisy but typically that died down by midnight. Owner was wonderful to communicate with and check in process was easy. House was clean and well maintained.

This is a fantastic property. Very clean, very comfortable furniture, fantastic amenities (including coffee grinders that are not on the amenities list) and a fantastic location. We would definitely stay here again.
There is a little bit of noise. The generator of the municipal building next door did do a maintenance run Wednesday morning, the filter for the pool is right outside one of the bedroom windows. But these are essentially white noises that aren’t that loud. You’re also less than a block off Duval, and there are plenty of people walking around, but what do you expect; you’re less than a block from Duval. None of these issues would prevent me from booking here again, and I only mention them because I saw other reviewers mention them and wanted to give my two cents. As I said, overall this is an excellent VRBO property and experience.

My husband and I visited Key West with our 3 year old twins and my in laws and the house was PERFECT for us. Plenty of space and the house was stocked with all the necessities. The backyard although small felt like our own private oasis. The pool was awesome and great for a plunge after a day out. The location was perfect. Right off Duval but the street wasn’t loud or busy at all. Cute shops and restaurants at a stones throw and a Great ice cream place on the corner. Would stay here again for sure!!!

This house was perfect for our family. We rented a golf cart for the week and we had a spot to park. The house came with some extras like hand soaps, laundry pods, garbage bags and spices. They also had nice bath and pool towels. The pool was a little chilly but our littlest didn’t mind. We would bring extra pillows next time. That was the only thing in the house that needed an upgrade. We would definitely stay here again!

Casa De Cuba hits the mark on everything! The location is perfect; walking distance to Duval, but yet quiet at night. Every amenity needed, is provided! Space/Rooms are more than enough, very comfortable for 5 to 6 adults. And the Pool was perfect for relaxing / spending quality family time together! Would highly recommend!

Charming house with great location
We had a fantastic one-week stay with our 2 teen children at this home. It is located near various good restaurants and a 15 min walk to Mallory Square. The home has a lovely plunge pool area for lazy afternoons and cozy spaces to spend time with each other and also spread out. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The house has lots of charm and we hope to return again soon.

Fantastic stay!
Casa de Cuba is excellent. We spent a week, 2 adults and 3 teen/tweens and it was perfect. Very walkable to almost everything, but still on a quiet street, and the pool was well used between other activities. Extra large pool towels are a nice touch, and everything was well furnished.

Perfection in Paradise
We have gone to Key West in February for the past 10 years and stayed in many different types of accommodations. Casa De Cuba is, by far, the perfect place for 2 couples or a family. The home is so well laid out , with space for everyone to relax . It is also beautifully appointed with lovely furnishings , a fully equipped kitchen, and impressive artwork. The beds and linens are extremely comfortable.
We spent the majority of our time around the pool area and shaded porch . It was the perfect place for morning coffee and afternoon naps.
A previous review indicated that the generator next to the property was a nuisance and a real negative. It only came on once during our week and I believe that you will either sleep through it or if you are an early riser, take a short walk to La Grignote for a cup of coffee and a delicious bakery treat. After 10 years, we have definitely found our perfect vacation accommodations in Key West. Thank you Dean for making our stay so comfortable and memorable . See you again next year!

Perfect Location
Well appointed clean home. It is in a quiet location but less than a block from Duvall. Easy to get anywhere in on Duvall. Pool does not get a lot of winter sun. But the landscape is very nice and makes for a lot of privacy.

A little piece of paradise
We had 5 adults stay for a week. The reservation process was easy. Dean is a great host, he answered all of our questions ahead of our visit. We had no need for communication during our stay. Casa de Cuba is impeccably decorated and spacious. The kitchen is well appointed. It is located less than 2 blocks from the quiet end of Duval St with easy walking access to restaurants, bars and entertainment. The pool and gardens in the back are beautiful. Other reviews mention a commercial building next door. There is a garage with maybe a generator in it. We didn’t even notice it from the backyard and it did kick on a couple times during our stay, but it was not intrusive at all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Casa de Cuba.

We had an excellent vacation- Casa de Cuba was perfect for our family! Great location, room for everyone to spread out and excellent patio/swim area. Dean was great. We would definitely rent again- enjoyed so much more than being at a resort!

Fabulous!!
We were in Key West for the first time to attend a wedding. We had our 24 year old daughter and 83 year old mother. This house was just so perfect for our needs. Many people from the wedding were so jealous as we had The Best place to stay.

THE perfect place!
This was our first trip to Key West and we picked the ideal house and location with Casa de Cuba. You are literally 1/2 block (if that) from all the action, yet you are totally secluded in your own private and peaceful oasis. The back patio and pool area are perfect to spend the evenings after a long day around town. The kitchen is well appointed with every appliance you need. Thank you for the awesome bean grinder for fresh coffee each day! The beds are super comfortable. You will not be disappointed! A few fun activities - we rented a private charter to see the sunset through Make It So Charters. Make sure and book the "wine & cheese" sandbar tour. Captain Todd is amazing and you will not forget the experience! A drive to Marathon Key to visit The Turtle Hospital was also well worth it! We'll be back to Casa de Cuba very soon - already working on our return date!

What a great rental we found in Keywest. Close enough to all the action but far enough away for peace and quiet. The outdoor pool and patio were an oasis. We had our morning visitors the roosters and chickens as well as an Iguana. House was perfect! Large and clean for 5 adults and one teenager. Would definitely rent again on my next trip to Keywest!

Great home in awesome location
The house we stayed at was a beautiful home that looked exactly like the online pictures we were the perfect location for what we were looking for we were right off of the main strip Duvall street in key west.This was more of the quiet section but we were never more than 10 minutes from anywhere that we wanted to go the backyard section is a wonderful oasis beautiful pool tremendous outdoor space I highly recommend the owner was awesome always reach back out to us within 10 minutes if we had a question.

Positive experience
Everything was just right from the time I went on-line to look for a property to the actual experience itself. Communication with the owner and property manager was easy and productive. The property itself was very clean and everything portrayed. The location was perfect and we had a blast. Bottom line, we all thought it was a great value for the dollars spent. Great house, great location
Home is well furnished for up to 6 guests. Great location 1/2 block from upper Duvall. Home was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with former guests leaving their dry spices etc. One hint: if you spend time in the back patio, make sure you use bug spray as the mosquitoes loved us! Overall awesome experience. We will stay here again!
