Frendly staff, perfect location right in the center of lovely old town .All the boxes ticked, great place to stay just outside Amsterdam.

Not enough coffee in the room. Our 2nd morning we had NO coffee to enjoy

Large spacious room in a great little town. Easy check in and quick access (17 minutes by bus) to central station in Amsterdam. Only 5 -10 to Edam.

There are sensor lights for the bathroom which some may prefer it I found them going off while in the shower.

Plenty of parking is available. Monnickedam is a small, safe, very cute, and peaceful suburb. After a 10-minute walk to the bus station, you can easily reach Amsterdam. The bus is often, great, and quick. The room looks nice and it was very spacious. Bigger than most hotel rooms.

The bathroom didn't have walls up to the ceiling and this was so embarrassing and inconvenient (and cold!). Yet, the worst part is the bell of the church in front of the hotel that rings very loudly each hour. We barely could sleep, it kept waking us up the entire night. No one came to clean the room during our 3-day stay. Our rubbish was piling up in the room. Not nice. The room looked nice, but I wouldn't stay again.

There were no locker or wardrobe in the room. pillows were quite hard, had neck pain. Shower had very slow or little water flow so showering took a long time!

Nice, clean and spacious rooms. Friendly owner. Great location, easy parking. One of our rooms was ideal for a family with children, even had a sitting area which was great because our baby could sleep in other room and we could sit and chat in the other

We weren't happy with the bathroom in our room for 4 people. It was too open for our liking and we didn't feel very comfortable using it.

Great location and great view, very nice room design, vibe and style. fFree parking is about 8 mins to walk, we even got a free spot right across from the hotel. On Saturdays there’s a local market nearby, nice for a quick stroll and some good food.

There’s a bar right below, they warned us that it might be loud and gave us earplugs. We did hear the music a bit but it didn’t bother us at all. If you’re a light sleeper though, this might be an issue.

It is in a great location and the rooms are cosy and spacious.

Lovely perfect clean room with a comfortable bed. Everything was pleasant for eyes! Easy rich to Amsterdam.

Please explain your customers how to use the air-conditioner. I've never used it before so it was a bit cold in the room. The guest's rooms are located over the pub. Please let people know that music stops at 2 am on Friday and Saturday.

the location was perfect for my work as it was walking distance

the only thing for me was no breakfast but there was a nice place just down the road that makes very nice bacon and eggs.

The team and the location are excellent. Rooms are new and bed very comfortable but still not ready in my opinion.

TV has no support, only 2 small towels (no hand towel), isolation of windows impoveable, lock of main entrance newly installed but not ready. Nevertheless, we will return as we see it is new and is work in progress and we ❤️ the location and the team

The view from the room is fantastic and the position sets you comfortably within walking distance by anything in the village. The room is simple but the furniture is new and Wi-Fi works fine.

Apparently there's a price to pay for being in such a nice location. The rooms are just above a café and (at least the Friday we were there) there was a party going on till late with some pretty loud music. Joining the party would have been a smarter call than trying to sleep. That actually explained the presence of single use earplugs that I noticed in the corridor during the check in.

lack of a contact person to ask for info. Although the description on booking spoke of apartments and mentioned that each room was equipped with a kitchenette, there was not even a minibar. The bed was never made during the stay and there was only one small towel per guest.

The location was perfect and beds were excellent. The owner was friendly and helpful. The bathroom was excellent. Room was very clean. It is a perfect accommodation if you plan to move around a lot and don't want to spend much time in the room.

The stairs were not convenient, especially with the luggage. The prize was high considering that there was no breakfast included. As there was no breakfast included, it would have been nice to have a fridge in the room. The lights were not adequate for reading in the room. Comfy chairs would be nice, but might not be possible as the room is very small. Getting the keys was a bit complicated as there is no reception. Not ideal for a longer stay.

The place is new, modern and extremely good located. Loved the bed and shower.

TV was not installed (did not really need it as we where in the bar below until late). Check-in and specially check-out process has to be improved, no info. We just left the keys in the rom.
