Cozy snd comfortable. Right next to lake michigan beach. Family had great time.

My daughters and granddaughter take a yearly vacation to Lake Michigan and have now found our new favorite place we will be staying! Convenient to the beach, the pool, our favorite beach towns and great restaurants. The chalet was just as described and check in couldn’t have been easier.

The chalet had a beautiful view of the beach. Very clean and great communication with the owner. Every inch of the chalet was laid out nicely to maximize space. My kids loved all of the amenities within the community. Definitely will be back. Great memories.

Great place

Our stay was amazing! The chalet was right next to the water and a small beach. It was clean and so peaceful. The inside of the chalet was very clean and fit our family of 5 perfectly. We got pizza delivery one night as well, and it was easy. There is a full kitchen as well. I would highly recommend this chalet and its owner. He checked on us to make sure we checked in and everything was ok. We would definitely go back!!!!

After a conference, a few friends and I stayed at the property to relax, unwind, and reconnect. It was a gorgeous space, the communication was seamless, and the location was lovely. Would stay again!

The Chalet was cozy, & well furnished. The waves & sand beach were right outside our deck. And the owner, Mark, was super attentive & easy to work with.

Loved this location! Cute little place to stay for a long weekend! Only wished their was laundry on site! Great weekend in Ichigan! Lol

The kids loved it, they had wifi Lol... and playgrounds, a fishing spot, right next to the beach to collect pretty rocks, bunk beds. We were also surrounded by Monarch Butterlies migrating which was pretty cool. I loved sleeping with the window open listenting to the waves. 5 minutes from gas stations and food places.

We had an awesome time once again, two years a row in this unit! The views are spectacular!! Michigan sunsets are the best!

So relaxing. So beautiful

We opened windows and fell asleep to the sound of waves nightly! I’ve never stayed so close to the waves without the additional sounds of people or traffic. It was so peaceful at night! During the day was minimal people chatter noise and lovely as well! I was just not quite prepared for the steepness of stairs from pictures so wanted to let others know. My 68 year old mom just had knee surgery and my 4 year old is rather clumsy so the the incline of stairs to bedrooms was a concern for our family especially since bathroom is on 1st floor . I only mention as a caution for others and not a complaint- everyone did okay. Other than that, the place was fantastic-clean and comfortable! We were steps from the beach (only like 75 steps according to our 7 year old 😂) & because it is so close, you can run up for snack or bathroom without packing up your day. Bonus is, if the 4 year old is not coming but 7 year old wants to beach time, one adult can stay but still watch beach play from bench in back yard while keeping near the stubborn kid 🤦🏻‍♀️! One pool is walking distance the other Pool and playground are technically walking distance but not for our family (since, 1 is post knee surgery and 2 are kids who whine ) there was a parking lot there though so it was fine to just drive. The town of St Joe has a lovely beach walk & cute shops including chocolate stores & a “dime store” like my grandma used to take me to 30 years ago! Several 5 min drive restaurants including Coachs which our kids deemed the bedt cheese curds ever! Culvers, DQ, Papa Johns, Meijers, Martins, Walmart & Celebration movie theatre are all about 5-10 minutes drive too. I cannot say enough nice things about this place! Highly recommend!

Great experience, and a very good host.

The unit was half of a charming A-frame and very clean inside. The sitting room was great for spending hours talking and playing games. There were not any blankets/throws so if you are someone who likes to cover with a blanket on the couch, make sure to pack one! The house was right next to the beach with easy access to walk out, swim, or sit to watch a sunset. Mark was very helpful in providing us with information prior to and during our stay. We would definitely come back to stay again!

My family stayed the weekend and enjoyed the chalet along with the private beach. The kitchen had everything we needed, including coffee! Will definitely stay again. Thanks Mark!!

Everything about this property is perfect! The location was amazing, the accommodations were clean and well kept, and the overall Chalets on the Lake were also a perfect getaway for a family. The park and tennis courts were close as well. Everyone loved the views and the great location to the beach. Bedrooms and bathroom were perfect! The owner was very communicative and timely. We will definitely be back!

We came for a little weekend getaway and were super impressed with how well maintained and clean the space was. It was a hot weekend and the chalet was nice and cool upon our arrival. Mark was also super accommodating throughout our stay and was always a text away if needed. My only complaint is that some of the pictures on the listing weren’t as updated. A seawall has been added to the property that slightly obstructs the views. However, and the immediate access to the private beach next to us and the peacefulness of the area certainly made up for it. This chalet is still one of the best locations on the property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Exceptionally clean, amazing location, ideal for a family getaway! We stayed for 3 nights with a 5 and 2-year old. Kids loved the place, comfortable bunk beds and the back deck which had a protective seawall (loved by the parents so there was no chance to quick little feet taking them too close to the water!) Chalet had everything we needed from utensils to appliances, linens, etc. Everything was very clean. Communication from property owner was very timely and friendly. We can't wait to come back!

Great location near wineries, dining, and shopping. Worked great for two couples. We discussed going back during the summer so we could utilize the beach that's located right next to the unit.

We are four nurses who needed to unwind after the last year + of Covid. What a great retreat for us to do so. Absolutely perfect location just steps from the beach. Will return!!! Mark was super helpful too.

THE HOUSE WAS PERFECT...THE CLEANLINESS...THE FURNISHINGS...THE BEACH...THE SOUND OF THE WATER...WE MOST DEFINITELY WILL BOOK EVERY YEAR! EVERYTHING WAS MORE THAN I EXPECTED, VERY NICE PLACE

This was a nice property away from the freeway, near two beaches, with access to tennis, basketball, swimming pools and a fire pit. We only used the insides for basic cooking and sleeping. It worked out as a nice central point for a few days of play. AC in each room to keep cool, as the waves on the lake may keep some awake if the windows were open. We would be delighted to stay again. Host was very communicative and supportive with any challenges.

From start to finish our stay was great! The chalet was just perfect for my sister and I. Mark was attentive and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We could not get over how close to a beautiful beach we were-just steps away and perfect for watching the sunset views! We were 10 minutes from wineries and breweries and Meijer grocery store. We ate in mostly to take full advantage of that beach! Weather was perfect and we enjoyed hearing the waves and seeing the stars from the back deck! I'd recommend this for family, friends or any kind of get away. 2 bedrooms sleep 4 with a queen and a set of bunks in each room and cable, wi fi and ample stuff in the kitchen. Would love to stay here again as its half way from Detroit and Northern IL where she was from!

The cleaning could of been a lot better. It was pretty dirty. We had to run to the store to get toilet paper. If we knew we would of brought our own. There was construction going on next to us as well. Over all pretty good.

Property is in a beautiful location right next to the access to the township beach park, has it's own access to Lake Michigan, pools, a playground for the kids, a fishing pond, and located close to other Lake Michigan beaches and St. Joseph.

Dirty, molding, smelling, unkept mess.

We loved the chalet! It had all the amenities that we needed. It was very clean and ready for us. The beach is right around the corner! There was some lag in communications in the beginning such as: It's not advertised as a duplex(we were concerned about Covid social distancing). But all in all I would definitely stay there again!
