The location was terrific. Only 2 easy blocks to walk to the centre of the town. The use of the washing machine and clothes airer were much appreciated. Heating was very good and easy to use. I also loved having the use of the cooking oil and condiments that were in the cupboard.

I had arranged for an early check in as my ferry docked at midday. I did some grocery shopping. The rain was quite heavy by this time. When I arrived at the accommodation there was noise coming from inside., and the key lock was open already. I knocked and the cleaner came out. She hadn’t been told of my early arrival. I showed her the email confirming my time. She apologised, but asked if I could come back in 20 minutes or so. So I walked round in the rain. But everything else was great.

Location and easy access to amenities I can recommend this as nice place to stay, not romantic one though...We had 15 yo with us:):)

Great location. Close to harbour and town. Parking space a real bonus

Filthy apartment. Bed not changed from previous guest. Utensils dirty. Floors thick in corners with dust and hairs also along skirting boards too. Kitchen floor had food stains. Shower head mouldy. Rusty dirty sink plug. Bathroom sink taps dirty. Bathroom bin not emptied. Had to sleep on sofa bed which was broken covered with a towel which did seem to be clean. Settee broken and covered with extra cushions. Decor very tired I asked for a partial refund but was ignored and the owner then marked my stay through booking.com as if I hadn't turned up at the property so I couldn't complain further through booking.com itself. Absolute rip off. I have lots of photos to show how horrible it was. Luckily only had to stay 2 nights and rest of holiday was amazing. Goodbye booking.com

Kitchen was well stocked. Quiet and good location

Apartment is on street level so no privacy. It seems like an old apartment. Dated. Place smelled odd and it was hard to breathe in there. Do not recommend for people with lung issues etc. We suspect mold issue but we are not sure. I had a rash on my body the next day. Floors were dirty (clean socks got dark very fast). Very tiny place. Do not understand some calling it spacious in the reviews. Sofas need a clean and so do the pillows. They smelled. The whole place needs a lot of TLC. We were booked for 3 people but no beddings for the sofabed. Bedroom linens were dirty- visibly!!! Also the cupboard door was broken and there were holes in sofa blankets etc. We left early after the first night altaugh booked for 2 nights. Worst accommodation experience ever.

Perfect location, everything you needed was supplied. Comfortable, plenty of space. Lovely flat, would definitely recommend.

The hosts were great. Great communication about the apartment before and when we arrived. Had a couple of issues and they were fixed straight away with no problems. The location is second to none. A 5 minute walk and your at the ferries, the train, the bus, Tesco, Aldi and Lidle and in the centre of Oban. You can’t beat it. We had parking but on the weekend it filled up and we did have to park outside but lucky it was late so we did not have to pay for parking. The kitchen had everything we needed with a washing machine. There was an iron and ironing board. A big deep bath was appreciated.

It was very small. We had to leave our luggage in the sitting room as us and the luggage could not fit in the bedroom. We also had to leave our toiletries in the kitchen as no shelving in the bathroom. The bathroom needs better venting as after a few days it started to smell (no window). We turned the oven on to preheat and when we opened the oven door the unit filled with smoke setting off both smoke alarms. We did not use it again. As with the other comments it was very dusty especially on the skirting boards and under furniture. No view at all. Photos of outside attached. It is a very warm unit but not much natural light gets in. I don’t think it was worth what we paid but in saying that our exchange rate is very bad.
