This is an adorable little place that is cwry well maintained. The area is very private and away from the big cities, yet close driving proximity to all the fun places. The family favorite place was the pool/hot tub while the sun was setting with the amazing views! My favorite was the amazing succulents on the well maintained property.

Perfect location, clean and very comfortable, clean and well equipped place/rooms/kitchen, bbq was a real plus and we really enjoyed the pool and gorgeous neighborhood, host was very accommodating, highly recommend

Kris was very friendly. The guest house was clean and was perfect for the week we stayed. We really enjoyed the pool and the views outside are gorgeous. We had everything we need to pack with and do laundry. The beach is only 20 minutes away. We would definitely love to stay here again thank you Kris!!

Lovely home away from the hustle!

Quiet and serene location in the rural area near wineries and vineyards. Really relaxing and we enjoyed the stay.

The guest house was just the right size and had pretty much all that we needed. A couple of notes for future guests: -Instructions for accessing the gate key should be more clear -Anyone who is a light sleeper should know there is a rooster on property who is a very early riser Otherwise our stay was terrific!

This place was perfect both inside and out. We loved having our wine and dinner outside by the brick fireplace under the white italian lights looking out over the hillside. We got fresh eggs. And Kris always got back to when we needed anything.

Very nicely setup,/appointed, comfortable, quiet. Pretty area. Easy access to highway. Good communication. Very pleasant view. Driveway is below—so need to be aware you will have to carry items up(due to rain they let us park above)also due to torrential rain we couldn’t sight see(we r not drinkers—so don’t do wineries). Would’ve liked a radio & regular cable TV(we r 77- not techy & hard to understand smart TV—but we were aware b/4 we went). Checked out early

It was perfect stay for my small family, while I caught up with my California family. It’s got beautiful views, was able to hang out in the hot tub the last night. Family does live in the main house which was great for my 6 year old daughter because she got to play with their kids. It’s secluded from the city but only 20 minutes to Oceanside or Temecula wine country. Host was very responsive and gave us tips for restaurants and grocery. Great place to stay 😁

We arrived very late after flying into San Diego. But the check-in instructions were simple and worked well. The house is great, clean, well equipped, and the host is friendly and helpful. Just be aware of a minor thing, the main picture of the listing with the outdoor fireplace is actually located right in front of the host’s house. While we probably could have used it, we didn’t feel it would have been appropriate, especially since the rental house has its own outdoor sitting area. And while it was not pool season, so it was not an issue, the pool is located behind the main house. Again, I am sure the host would have let us use it, weather permitting, especially since the listing says there is a pool, but it may not feel very private considering the proximity to the main house. Otherwise, the description and pictures are accurate and the house was perfect for us in every way. We would gladly stay there again next time we are in the area.

Was wonderful but jacuzzi not hot enough and no jets

What a wonderful location & beautiful place! The unit was very clean located amongst Avocado Groves, tree farms and flowers. A truly rustic location but so very close to the beaches & Temecula Wine Country. I will keep this place for future stays as I have family I visit in Fallbrook. I highly recommend staying here!

Host was helpful and location nice but we assumed that paying an extra to use the jacuzzi it would have been more private. From the pictures, it looked more private but then owner had people over (not loud or anything) but that deterred us from cruising around the house and using the pool/jacuzzi. Our mistake for assuming it was more private. For what we spent, we could have stayed at a hotel by the beach. Nice place but not what we expected for the price.

Great location for daytrips to Legoland and SeaWorld. We enjoyed evenings on the deck as the views are gorgeous. Kids enjoyed the pool that is on the property. The kitchen is well equipped for breakfast and dinner preparation. The owner is friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return. Highly recommend this lovely property.

Nice comfortable

Both beds were very comfortable. Kids loved the pool. The view from the porch was amazing, the table on the porch was my favorite spot to work, eat and just relax. Kitchen and laundry had everything we needed. The pull out coach bed mattress is ready to be updated. Some feedback for when you have guests you know will need the coach bed (we had 6), pull the couch cushions off and clean out the crumbs and debris from the couch and mattress, we had to clean it up. Also had a small ant issue with the trash that was resolved quickly (thanks Kris!)

This was a great little place to stay and relax. Close enough to the beach, Temecula wine country and San Diego. In the middle of everything, yet has the feeling of being away from all the chaos.

It was a great staycation while our house was getting work done. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Very nice property

A few friends and I stayed here on the night before and after my wedding! We didn’t spend much time at the house itself because we had a lot going on for the wedding. Either way, this spot was very cozy for us and super comfortable! I would recommend this place or even stay here again!

This is an ADU manufactured home built on the owner's property. It was very clean and comfortable. We rented it while our home was being termite tented. I booked using the VRBO app. I specifically booked a pet friendly accommodation. Arrival to the gate is confusing. There is a lock box located on the chain link fence, that is where the code is to be entered, not on the electric gate entry keypad. Once that was resolved, the owner called me to tell me my pets were not approved. I went back to the VRBO site to ensure I had done everything as it indicated, I did. There is only a pet check box, do you have pets, or do you not have pets. The owner told me that pets were to be approved. I booked this VRBO in July for our termite tenting in September. All of a sudden I was told my pets were not approved once arriving. There was plenty of time for this owner to send me a message, ask for the breed of the dogs, approve of them back in July. Instead, he required me to pay an additional $50.00 for the two dogs. He then informed me there are small children on the property and he does not want pit bulls. I suggest he not allow any pets. There are very safe and friendly pit bulls. I do not own one, just making the point that if you have a pet you may want to not consider this unit.

We stayed here for our Son's wedding at the Fire Garden. The house is cute and very close to the venue. Kris was always quick to reply to our questions.
