All of the websites describing this property show 6 bedrooms with two suites in front. Sleeps 12. We had 11 so no problem, except when we got there one of the two suites with ocean views was the "owners suite," and not available. Because of this, the "value" dropped considerably. So one of us slept in the kitchen area for the first night and a cot thereafter. The owner came in with his wife on the second night about 10 PM, scaring all of us because we didn't know he was coming. He was nice and moved next door for the balance of our stay, but we did not have access to his suite. The other bedrooms had no views. We won't be back.

Great property. The pool and the views were fantastic. Perfect location on the island. We did have some maintenance issues(ac/power outages ) but sometimes things just happen. What was important though, once management was notified it was taken care of immediately. I would come back.

There aren’t enough words to describe this house and the island. Everything was Phenomenal!! The owners of the house went above and beyond to support us before and during our stay. We had so much fun, so much space, so much hospitality the list goes on and on. Great dinner and excursion recommendations etc. If you don’t book here you are truly missing out on a gem!

We were 11…. 6adults 5 kids.
Loved having the place all to our selves. Would be nice to have extra sheets and blankets on hand in the closestes for those extra beds in the bedrooms.
Also, it would be handy to have some hooks in the living room bathrooms. To hang our towels during the day.

Our 4 families reunited here for a blissful week at Casa Gemelos. Maureen was incredible, helping us with a range of tips from guidance on where/how to rent golf carts for the week, a private chef for dinner (we used Ariel's amazing team: [email protected] for 1 dinner and Sebastian from Isla Chef [email protected] for the other, both were incredible) and she was very responsive with a few things that came up with the house (sadly the lower pool which can be heated wasn't working during our stay due to some pump issues, but Maureen attempted to get it fixed all week!). The pictures of the house doesn't do it justice. The property is beautiful. Our kids spent hours in the pool and you can walk along a small path along the bluff all the way down to a lovely sculpture park at the end of Punta Sur. The house is on the south end of town and about a 15min golf cart ride to the heart of town. We liked being out of the hustle/bustle of the main town center to avoid the main tourists, but close enough for shopping and excursions. The main grocery store is ~5-7min away by golf cart with a smaller one closer. Jennifer, who checked us in, recommended an adorable little beach that was protected on a very windy/stormy day and was also available for questions. Anna is a housekeeper and wonderful, she helps with some dishes each day in the morning and keeps rooms clean/towels for pool and showers refilled etc. They have plenty of fresh water in large jugs on hand and even supply Microdyn to wash fruits/veggies. The kitchens are well stocked with everything you need. One thing to keep in mind is that there are essentially 3 rooms on either side, each one on a different level and each one has their own key, none of the rooms are attached or on the main floor leading out to the pool. Each side has a main kitchen and living room space that is on the pool level. If you have someone who has trouble with stairs, this may challenging. All rooms have a King bed and a few have extra mattress which can be pulled out for extra guests. We put 3 kids in 1 room and 3 kids in another, with adults in the other 4 rooms (14 people). The extra living spaces made it easy to find quiet spaces if needed. It was easy to get to/from the island on the Ultramar ferry, which runs every 30min and was never full even during peak season (we were there over Christmas). Catch breakfast at the Mange Cafe! We had an amazing time and highly recommend to others!

Amazing House and great hosts!
This was a get away for a group of friends/family and it didn’t disappoint. Attentive but not intrusive. The house is exactly what’s depicted and anything we could need was made available to us. Thank you all again and we will definitely look at this house for availability for our next trip.

Bachelorette Celebration at Casa Gemelos!
Wow, what a beautiful home and property! We had so much fun hanging by the pool, eating dinner in the outside patio, and walking the oceanside pathway to Punta Sur. The maid service was so nice and the property manager was extremely helpful. Highly recommend staying here, it was magical!

Fantastic Trip with Friends
Myself and 5 other friends stayed here and had an absolute blast. The house was a fantastic layout with matching layouts on each side, and the pool with views was incredible.
The hosting team was extremely attentive for any questions we had, the check in process was a breeze, and the daily housekeeping was extremely helpful.
Would absolutely try staying here again when we come back!

Perfect Family Vacation
Great spot! Everyone was together yet we all had private rooms and bathrooms. The amenities had everything we needed, the pool was absolutely beautiful and the services provided by the property managers and cleaning staff were fantastic.

Everything was wonderful. We had a great experience from check in to checkout. Anna kept the houses very clean and tidy and someone was there daily checking on the pool. We will definitely be renting here again.

My daughters quinceañera
We had a very good stay. We had 16 family members who all enjoyed the house. The jacuzzi was a bit tricky but it was big enough that most of us enjoyed it every night. The two separate common areas helped because certain people wanted to watch movies while others were a bit louder. There are restrooms everywhere which was a major plus and for our event we we all able to rearrange a few tables and enjoy the weather, view and family while we celebrated into the night. We booked a local band and catered from a local restaurant for a great price. My daughter and everyone had a blast.

Paradise in Punta Sur
This is our third house we’ve rented on the island, and hands down our favorite! The pictures don’t fully capture the beauty, serenity, privacy and comfort of Casa Gemelos. Both the pool and house were cleaned daily during our stay, the kitchens were well-stocked, as were bath towels, pool towels, sunscreens, books, toys & games for kids. We were two families with 4 adults & 7 kids all together and the house accommodated us perfectly- we found plenty of room to stretch out and get that quiet time away from the group when necessary. The pool was breathtaking, and we used it daily, but it was our nightly hot tub sessions watching the moon rise over the Caribbean that were our absolute favorite way to end a perfect day in paradise. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous home with us!

A special place
What a special place. We were a family group that meet from all over the world for a week on this beautiful island. The house could not have been more perfect. The design works fantastically for a big group with lots if space.
The part if the island the house is located on is quiet and away from the day tourist area in the north. There are a number of eating place within an easy work from the house.
Isaac, the house manager, could not have been more helpful.

Casa Gemelos fit our needs great! 5 couples and having chefs come in to cook, who were familiar with the house, was awesome. Questions or concerns we had were immediately addressed. We will definitely be back!!!

Great place for a big group on the South End
We had a big group stay here and Casa Camacho, which is right across the street. It was an amazing vacation for all. Check in was seamless, and the house was great. Maria kept the place spotless. The layout was perfect for the six couples that stayed there. Everyone was able to have their privacy when they wanted it. The pool was a great place for everyone to hang out. There was a harvest moon when we were there, so watching it come up over the ocean while chilling in the pool was stunning. It was only second best to waking up to the beautiful sun rising out of the Caribbean like a painting in our bedroom window. Also, Javi from Javi's Cantina catered breakfasts and a few dinners for us. It was amazing. His food and staff were fabulous. I did not have one complaint from anyone in our entire group about the houses or the food. We will definitely be back!!!

Dream Vacation for Large Family
Casa Gemelos provided the perfect home base for our summer family vacation. We had a large group (9 adults, 2 teenagers, and 4 kids under the age of 7) and we had plenty of space and everything we needed. The pool provided endless hours of entertainment for the kids and a perfect spot for the adults to cool off and enjoy the view. We even got lucky and saw a giant pod of dolphins playing in the Caribbean right from the comfort of the pool. Isla Mujeres was the perfect island for a large family vacation and Casa Gemelos was just right for our family. Thank you Maureen for all the help with planning our stay. We couldn’t be happier with our time on the island and our stay at your place. If you have the chance, swim with the whale sharks...an experience of a lifetime! We will be back!

An Isla Mujeres Haven
Our group of 15 (3 families - 6 adults & 9 kids ages 8-14) stayed here for 5 nights. location is beautiful cliff side near punta sur (a must see) with an enormous pool and daily views of turtles, iguanas and dolphins. Location was private and the house had 6 bedrooms/baths and 2 identical kitchen/living spaces which gave everyone space to move. The winds made the heat more than manageable and kept the bugs away and the home had everything we could have needed. Groceries were delivered before we arrived and owner/managers were helpful and had quick response whenever we needed anything. The house was about 20 minutes from playa norte by golf cart, also easy taxi ride to/from ferry. We had an amazing trip and great lifetime memories for all.

This is a wonderful property! We had 12 people staying and everyone felt it was perfect.
We rented Casa Gemelos to host a welcome dinner or guests that traveled to Isla Mujeres for my daughters wedding. It was perfect for the family staying at the house and the dinner we hosted. The owner and management were wonderful in communicating and giving suggestions. We would definitely rent again and guests all asked questions for their future vacations.

Perfect getaway for a large group
We spent our spring break at Casa Gemelos and it was the perfect fit for our group. The house have so much social space in and outside. It was very well maintained and in a great location with easy access via golf carts to everything on the island. Would definitely rent again.

Relaxing Stay, Beautiful Property
Spent Spring break here with a total of 14 guests, 3 families. The property is excellent for large groups with individual privacy. We liked the fact that it was on the South end of the island where there was peace and quiet. Great meals at the house provided by Chef Josafet. Our only complaint was that the hot tub was non-functional.

We loved our "family reunion" stay at this wonderful oasis! A beautiful property situated overlooking the ocean and a front row seat to gorgeous sunrises every morning. Best Family Vacation ever!
This was our first time to Isla Mujeres. We even got our entire ever expanding family there with us. This has been a hard task as our grown children live all over the US. There were 15 of us, 11 adults, one 16 year old and 3 toddlers. This house is amazing and the most perfect fit for our family. Casa Gemelos has everything you can think of and even though the island is awesome you don't have to leave to have an amazing time. The views, the amenities, the pool and Myra were so welcoming. Also the restaurant owners at Javi's were so amazing and accommodating for us. The food is so good too. We are already thinking about bringing our friends back here at the end of this year. Maureen is so easy to get a hold of and has great advise if you are a first time visitor. I would highly recommend Casa Gemelos to anyone. Rexroad family will be back!

It was nice having a property manager and cleaning lady. The house is stocked with plenty of dishes, if you want to cook at the house. We rented golf carts and road around the island. It’s a short ride from one end of the island to the other. A lot of fun!

Ten girls shared this property and we had enough space and were very comfortable. The amenities were good - some issues with hot water (lots of people taking showers) but other than that, we loved it and would rent again!

Unbelievable service, amazing house, beautiful views!
Our experience at Casa Gemelos was incomparable to other vacations. The full team helped us navigate our needs, recommended a great private chef (Dinnertainment - Javi - look him up!!), helped us with confirming transportation plans (ferry and golf cart), and were in constant communication with us when the weather took a turn (Tropical Storm Michael was quickly becoming Hurricane Michael) and navigated our departure in a helpful and safe way. The house itself is amazing - I would recommend this place to any group! The four bedrooms are hotel-style, doors to the outside, king bed and bath on the inside. Then the two main casitas have the two kitchens and two master suites upstairs. The pool is the best pool I've been in in YEARS! Daily cleaning service, helpful maintenance with the crazy winds, really just an unrivaled experience. Many of our attendees said "I can't wait to come back here!"

One of the most amazing houses! The owners were over the top awesome
Truly enjoyed our stay we had a large group and that’s always tough to manage but the owners were so helpful. Every aspect and every day of the trip. From the planning to the executing we had no issues. More than enough of everything and round the clock assistance if needed. One our our guest locked themselves out and it was opened quickly.

Comfortable and charming. Long breezeway functions well for long table dining. Parking for at least 4 golf carts. Pool lighting at night is magical.

Absolutely perfect place for our group. Casa Gemelos was a perfect size for our group of 15.
From the time we pulled into the driveway to the time we pulled out of the driveway, the house exceeded our needs and expectations. The house has everything you need to have a great time. The helpfulness from Maureen and Kate (employee from their property management company) is amazing. They have helped us to find a great catering company and DJ to accommodate our wedding reception we had at the house. We will definitely be staying here in the future.

Just returned from this gorgeous new house. It was great for our family with children. The views and sounds of the ocean were truly the best we have ever experienced on our trips to Isla.
We love staying at the South end of the island because of the peace and and serenity it brings. Renting a golf cart was perfect and it was coordinated by the management company nicely. The carts were waiting at the home when we arrived. Judith and Roberto who manage the home were available as little or as much as we needed. They made the stay!!! The beds and linens were the best we've had on the island. This was our third trip to Isla Mujeres and I would find it very disheartening to have to stay elsewhere.

Our visit here was paradise. My husband and I stayed here with friends in September. The bedrooms were clean and very comfortable. The master bedroom and bath had a fabulous view of the Caribbean. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The best was our time in the private pool gazing at the ocean. That view will never get old. I can't wait to get can back and will definitely stay here again.
