Once you leave the back deck, you are pretty much on the beach. 5 stars just for that. The rest was just a huge bonus. All bedrooms had an attached bath, and each room was comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is perfect if you like to cook, or there is a beach shack 3 doors down that was fast and delicious. Communication with the rental company was fast and courteous. This is a beautiful home, and we enjoyed a relaxing vacation. Drawbacks, if you have toddlers, the staircase will give you heart palpitations. Gorgeous circular stairs that would be hard to block. Also, as of 6/15/24, there is construction going on next door. This didn’t bother us a bit, but it was loud at times. Lastly, the dining table is huge and round. It will fit a large family to eat, but we couldn't reach to play games around it. But with the game room upstairs, there is plenty of other things to entertain.

Perfect property. We used for a Business Retreat and everything was as the description listed. Loved how close it was to the beach, just steps. Wish the master bedrooms had better mattresses as all of the other rooms.

We were repeat vacationers and while our 1st time was great this second time will be our last. 2 days after we check out we received a charge for $500 because of counter top scratches that were not there at the time of “their” arrival inspection. It’s almost a week later and we still have not been provided with a copy of this arrival inspection or photos to support these scratches weren’t there at our arrival. We never completed nor were ever asked to complete our own arrival inspection but now all of a sudden property management completed an arrival inspection and they come up with damages. The property has stopped responding to my request which is beyond unprofessional and yes I will be telling everyone who will listen to not vacation here. While the property is nice it’s not worth the hassle. The honesty transparency and professionalism on how this was handled is disgusting to say the least. There’s a row of these houses on this street. Pick a different one!
I’m giving 1 stars for Accuracy of online listing because arrival inspections should be included. 1 star for communication with property manager because they’ve stopped responding. 1 star for check in process because it should include an arrival inspection especially if they can make up one later and charge you. 2 stars for cleanliness because of these scratches and 5 stars on location because it is a great location and I’m fair. 1 star overall.

Wonderful location and amenities at this large and spacious beach home. All the necessary items in the home minus any comnsumables. Not to worry. Whole foods and Krogers very close and accesible. Stop by Costco and pick up chairs on the way in and you'll be set. You will have a wonderful vacation form this home base and will not want to leave!

Family Vacation
Perfect house for our family of 18- 9 adults and 9 children. Convenient beach access, pool and beach restaurant close by. This was our 2nd visit to this same house so obviously we like it.

We stayed at 27 Singleton Beach Place in late September 2017. It is a beautiful house; it has just the right number of rooms and has up-to-date everything. The location was TERRIFIC! Steps to the beach and minutes from, well, everything. The beach was perfect- nice and wide at low tide but still plenty of room at high tide. And there weren't too many people because, for the most part, only the renters in the houses were using that strip of beach. There were some not-so-great things, like we weren't told we couldn't use the fireplace, and the kitchen range wasn't working properly. Also, we had to call for several maintenance issues. For example: one of the dishwashers was leaking; the AC was making an horrific noise each time it went on and off; the jets weren't working on the pool (at first); the trash wasn't picked up on time and the garage and entire 1st floor were stinking terribly. Parking was a bit challenging too because the driveway is tight and there's little room on the street. But the garage was big enough to fit 4 cars comfortably, even if they did need to be shuffled often. Also, the house probably could've used more than one washer/dryer. Overall, this house is a great rental, provided it gets well maintained.

It is a beautiful house with beautiful furnishings on the beach. I think for the cost of the house there should be certain things included into the price like hair dryers for every bedroom. Also, you had to bring your own beach towels and beach chairs. And the quality of the outdoor furniture wasn't great. We had a fabulous time and all the bedrooms were comfortable and plenty of space for a large family or families.

My family of 9 stayed in this house. 4 adults and 5 kids from 4-12. More than enough room. We had a bedroom we never touched. The location was ideal if you want to relax and enjoy the beach. The property was awesome only 2 doors down from CoCo's beach bar. We could not have been more pleased with this vacation.

Do not rent from these people
Vacation Home of Hilton Head is NOT an honest company to use for buying or renting a property. You’re better off renting directly through a reputable company without fake positive reviews. Be aware that if you rent with this company, chances are you will be in the loop for your security deposit or likely be charged additional fee once you leave – that’s seems to be a common complaint from others. I rented a property through this company and only to discover after a clean walkthrough before leaving, this company still accused my family of furniture damages, even after we showed pictures documenting the damages, we noticed on the day we arrived on the property. To make things worse, I later found that they were overcharging for the rental property by as much as 30%! Seems like there’s a pattern of false accusations with other guests. The house was unclean, and the AC unit on the fourth floor did not work during our entire stay. When we asked for assistance, this company did nothing to assist. What a scamming company! DO NOT take the chance – I wish we were warned before making such a major mistake.

BBQ needs some work, would take forever to bbq burgers or even hot dogs, not much of a flame or heat. Overall we had a great time and would recommend this house to others.

This house is located on Singleton Beach which is an awesome quieter part of Hilton Head surrounded by the marsh and ocean. We have stayed in 2 other 6 bedroom oceanfront properties on Singleton Beach in June and this one was the most expensive at $9000/week more than the other comparable properties. I’m guessing it’s because this house is newer (built in 2017) and is exquisitely decorated. The house is absolutely beautiful and literally just steps from the ocean. The house sleeps 18 comfortably and is extremely spacious. It has a 6 car garage with spots for 2 in the driveway. It has an elevator which we needed for transporting our disabled child. I’m certain the elevator is meant for people and luggage and not necessarily wheelchairs because we had to remove the foot rests from my son’s pediatric wheelchair just to get it to fit in the elevator . I That being said the house was very accessible for someone in a wheelchair because there are no steps on the first floor so the bedroom, kitchen, living room, porch, and pool are all on the same level. The house does have a private pool but it is so very small I would call it a wading pool instead of a swimming pool. This did not negatively affect our stay because with the ocean so close we were at the beach all day. The house sleeps 18 but was equipped with only enough utensils and dishes for 8- 12 people. The refrigerator is counter depth, small for a house this size, but there is a drink refrigerator on the 3rd floor. This house has a separate ice maker which was a nice bonus! The WiiFi in this house is poor . It’s adequate for regular use but we had family members trying to work and they had to leave and go to a coffee shop. In summary I would say the negatives of the this house are the price, very small pool, and WiiFi. The positives are the size of the house, location, and view.
