The Suttons Bay apartment was a wonderful place to stay. It was spotless, spacious, and had a full kitchen. The location was perfect with views of the marina.

This property was in a great location. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The property owner was very kind and efficient with communication. We will definitely plan to stay here again!

Very clean comfortable condo, right across the street from a harbor and sandy beach, complete with picnic and shady areas. The condo is right around the corner from cute shops and restaurants. Very enjoyable, relaxing time.

This second-floor unit is located squarely in the middle of small Suttons Bay, close enough to walk to the coffee shops (Northern Latitudes is directly below), restaurants, shops, bike rentals, the beach and more. The unit itself provides ample space for four adults - two bedrooms separated by a spacious bathroom in between. The selling point, and where we spent the majority of our time, is the balcony overlooking the marina with a view of the bay. Four Adirondack chairs and two side tables fit us perfectly. We did not bring any kids, but for families that do, there is a good size beach right next to the marina with playground sets and volleyball nets. Suttons Bay ended up being the ideal landing spot for us. We visited wineries and restaurants from Leland to Traverse City, including a stop at Brys Estates Vineyard (amazing views) in the Old Mission peninsula. In case your visit includes a wine tour, don’t miss 45, Two K, and Aurora. Karen (the host) was very timely with informative texts and messages about checking in and making sure everything was in place. If we decide to return to Suttons Bay, this will be the first place we look for reservations for sure! 5 stars all the way.

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Suttons Bay to attend a wedding. First of all, the location is perfect - walkable to dinner, coffee, ice cream, not to mention the beach is right across the street! Wineries are close (Shady Lane / Black Star) and Leland / Northport a quick 10-15 minute trip. The Tart bike trail begins right in Suttons Bay and is a nice17 mile trail that is relatively flat. The unit was very clean, comfortable beds/living room furniture, and nice patio overlooking the marina. This is an upstairs unit. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location for day trips! Great view of the dock and bay. Accommodations were very comfortable. Everything was good, as advertised. The kitchen had basic furnishings for simple meals. We ate most of our meals out at wonderful restaurants within walking distance, based on Karen’s recommendations, and within easy driving distance around the peninsula.

Karen meet us at check in. Very responsive to our needs. Place was clean and located near shopping, restaurants, and vineyards, grocery store and the Marina. Perfect get away for the wife and I. Highly recommend this place and owners.

The view is amazing, the place was spacious, and our host was extremely responsive! You are literally staying above downtown which makes for some amazing relaxing walks in the morning and very easy strolls you get a drink/dinner later on. We had the best time exploring Sutton’s bay here!

Wonderful balcony views and perfect location! Suttons Bay is such a great vacation spot and this location is top notch. Can walk anywhere in town and steps to the beach. Enjoyable stay.

This property was absolutely perfect for a visit to the Traverse City, Suttons Bay area. We could walk to the water, coffee and brewery. The owner made the process very easy too. I would def stay here again! My only suggestion would be to have the location marked, it was difficult but not impossible to find at night (the awning was removed, which had the address on it) and to add additional lighting in the bathroom. PERFECT little town and perfect location for a VRBO

We had a great time staying at the condo in Sutton’s Bay! It’s close to shops, coffee and restaurants. The deck is a nice place to sit and enjoy the water view as well. The public beach is a short walk away. I’m sure we will be back again!

This property was perfect! The condo was clean, spacious and most importantly very quiet. It was excellent for our children as we could simply walk them to the beach, park, shops etc. We will definitely be back again!

Perfection location!! Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Sutton’s bay. Super clean. Great view of the water and marine. Wish the beds were a little softer, but great if you like a firm mattress. Up north little gem!!

Wonderful property, great location and close to wineries, beach and shopping. Centrally located in Leelanau County, so close to drive within 10-15 minutes of Traverse City, Leland and Northport. Will stay again!!

The apartment was very nice and clean. The location is great for walking to the beach area, shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again if we are ever in the area!

This apartment was clean, comfortable and convenient. We really enjoyed the view and the ability to walk anywhere in town. We were here in cool June weather, but it was quite warm in the apartment even though the heat seemed to be turned off. Keeping the windows open made it comfortable, though. I don’t know how it would be in hot weather. It looks like there is a wall air-conditioning unit in the central hall area which should work okay with the bedroom doors kept open. I saw no controls for it, but that may be because it was not air conditioning season yet. The other thing I should mention is that the apartment does not have it’s own wi-fi, but is picking up the wi-fi from the businesses below it on the street side. Among four devices, we were never able to successfully use the wi-fi that was given. We were able to get on the wi-fi for the coffee shop, but it depended on where you were sitting in the apartment as to how well the connection could be made. This only mattered to us really because my husband teaches an online college course so had to get information out. He was unable to set up his work at the kitchen table and get connected to wi-fi. He either went down to the coffee shop with his computer, sat on the bed by the window over the coffee shop, or used the hot spot from his cellular service. We like to plug in our Roku to the tv and stream Netflix, etc. at night sometimes, but this was not going to happen here. It’s just something to be aware of, but that said, it wouldn’t keep us from staying here again. We had a lovely vacation!

Very clean and centrally located on the wine trail. Owners were easy to work with.
