Also a carpet needs to be put down under the pool table due to pool balls falling out of the pockets. When staying for a week, more towels should be available as well as more “starter” materials ie. toilet paper and paper towels. Also, there was a lot of dust (especially under the beds and shelf in upstairs bedrooms) and light bulbs burned out. The bunk beds were also unstable with a huge crack in the middle. The pillows also need to be replaced. They were disgusting...yellow sweat stains and drool stains from previous boarders. They are well beyond flat and uncomfortable.

The only reasons for not getting a 5 star was that there were no pots to cook with and the gas grill doesn't work properly. It only has a small yellow flame that heats the front of the grill. I'm sure the element inside can be replaced and it function to cook normally. Everything else was on point.

Reviewer Comments: My stay was very pleasant my favorite was the heart hot tub it was everything I expected if I can change anything I would put curtains in the living room or blinds only because I am not use to not having blinds in a open space and have the trash pick up more often because even when you give it up it still atrack the animals because after 2 or 3 days all trash will smell other that it still was nice me and my family enjoyed ourselves the view was amazing Dan was awsome to work with 5 stars Elks Springs

It was easy to find & nestled in the woods. The rocking chairs & hot tub on the back porch made relaxing easy. The pool table was a hit for the kids. The beds were comfy & Cody as well.

Each was unique with a common rustic flair. Each lot was rather narrow and parking was a little congested - with most cabins offering only a small asphault apron to park on.

Check in was easy. management was responsive to some minor issues with sink leaking and microwave malfunctioning and they answered our texts immediately- all these minor things were fixed lickety split! Loved having a washer-dryer in unit for our hiking clothes and hot tub and fireplace were perfect for the below expected temps!

We had a little trouble with the internet and it was resolved in no time. Ten minutes to Pigeon Forge on backroads and ten minutes to Gatlinburg. I would definitely recommend this cabin and plan on a return visit!

We had three cars so parking was tricky, but once we figured it out, it was no problem! The cabin was clean upon arrival. We enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub! The jets had black mold in them and it was clearly visible. Complained several times housekeeping came in and the black mold was still there. We gave up on using the tub all together due to the health risk of black mold. The washer and dryer in this until had issues ( wouldn’t shut off and the dryer did not spin) and maintenance had to order parts so a portion of the honeymoon was spent at the local laundry mat. Dust a mile thick on the curtains. We would not stay here again.

Tucked In was a great place to spend our Fall vacation. Property was close to town with a lot of entertainment in Gatlinburg. Relaxing in the hot tub was awesome.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we loved this cabin! The cabins were spaced far enough for privacy and I am sure it would look beautiful in the fall. It was perfect for just us two, but would have ample room had our two children gone with us and we loved that it wasn't far from all the fun that Gatlinburg has to offer, but far enough that it wasn't a busy area and was a quiet place to relax if needed. A couple of things: the master bathroom shower is small and the shower curtain didn't stay put, so the whole time you are trying to push it back out of your way during your shower and had mildew on the bottom. The drape above the bed either needs to be cleaned more regularly, or just taken down. It was very dusty! Our bed skirt was ripped and as I pulled the covers out, a penny was on the floor. I would also suggest a small table on the other side of the bed; a place to charge your phone, etc. I still feel overall that the room was clean, but a few oversights. I would also suggest bringing your own kleenex, they do not provide any and trying to use the toilet paper didn't work well. I would still absolutely suggest Elk Springs to anyone, those few things would never deter me from going back!

The bedrooms were fantastic for giving our family space (the bunk beds were awesome for our girls to have their own space). We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and grilling our dinners while overlooking the woods. The resort was peaceful and we did request maintenance for a small issue and the response was so fast and our issue resolved in less than 3 hours (while we were out enjoying the mountains.) thanks for an amazing stay, Elk Springs! We highly recommend and will be back.
