This house was perfect for my girls trip for 3. It was nicely decorated, very clean and provided everything we needed. The pool area was a must for an afternoon break, especially since we visited during record high temperatures. Restaurants and shopping was close by so we could walk most places, which we also appreciated. Absolutely perfect in all respects, no negatives. Management company was accessible if needed.

Eloped to Key West and stayed in this house and everything was exactly as pictures and promised! The pool was a great touch to the property! The property was very helpful and reached out multiple times to make sure we have everything we needed! Would highly recommend !

We had a great stay at Potters Cottage! The house is well appointed and wonderfully maintained. It was perfect for our family of 4. There are 2 beds plus three sitting areas with couches (1 pulls out). The furniture inside and out was comfortable! The kitchen had everything we needed to make and serve Easter dinner- we were thrilled. The pool was literally a step away and was a great place to relax and refresh at any time. The washer and dryer were large and easy to use. Two minor drawbacks- the house does not come with parking or a residential permit. We were never able to grab the spot in front of the house. The upstairs bedroom area is accessible by a narrow, step staircase which may be challenging for some travelers. The rental company, Historic Key West Vacation Rentals, was great to work with. We look forward to returning!

Even nicer than the photos, we absolutely loved our stay at the Potter’s Cottage. We loved the option to sit outside in a couple different seating areas. The little plunge pool was perfect to cool off and chill. We cooked a bit and found the kitch well appointed. We will definitely stay again!!!

The place was super cute and great for our group of 5. Our 2 older folks stayed in the first floor, and we enjoyed the second floor with the huge bed and separate bathroom. The extra pull out was perfect for our 23 year old. Loved the porches and the great walkable location. We'll definitely book with them again.

Potter's Cottage was in a great location and was perfect for our 5 day New Year's vacation. It was very clean, well-appointed and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool too! We liked that it was just a block off the quieter end of Duval, and we easily walked or biked to everything we wanted to do. The room with the pullout couch had doors for privacy and was just big enough for the bed unfolded, but my 5'11" son said it was very comfortable, and he was happy in there. One thing to note is the steps to the upstairs bedroom are steep, so this is not a cottage for someone who has issues with stairs. We really appreciated the help of the wonderful staff at HKWVR planning our first trip to Key West!

Absolutely love this cottage. It was just the right size for 2 or 4. The addition of a private pool and the backyard covered patio, are divine. It’s like your little oasis away from the bustling world. The cottage looks exactly like pictured and it’s very convenient to all of the great places on Duvall street. There’s a free, non-permit spot right in front and little traffic down this street. We didn’t get to sit on the front porch, but I’d imagine it’s worth taking a sit and enjoying to morning sun with coffee. The property management company was amazing and really provides a concierge level of service. I definitely will rent this place again.

As a group of 4 adults, we stayed for 5 nights. The cottage had a great location, was close to so many points of interest, and was well-appointed. The pool was delightful! The only thing worth noting for others is that the stairs to the upper sleeping area/loft were STEEP. The property was clean and tidy and had lots of perks (washer dryer, Bluetooth speaker, etc.) that made a difference in our stay. The staff with HKWVR were also very helpful, facilitating after hours check in for us and helping us find a wheelchair rental for a party member during our stay. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay again!

It was easy & everything went smoothly. The home was very lovely and cute. Small but relaxing outside area with a small soaking pool. We had everything we needed. Downstairs bathroom nlis huge with large shower. Upstairs bathroom is small, shower requires people not to be very tall, fyi. We had 7 palmetto bugs on night one in the upstairs bathroom, but rental company sent someone to handle the next day and that got rid of them. They arranged bikes to be delivered which was great. It's a great location just a block and half from Hemingway House. Whitehead is a busy street but you wouldn't know itnfrom inside the cottage.. its well insulated. We had a lovely time.

Overall it was a good experience. The house is cute and very close to Duval, the beach and really anything you would like to do in KW. The beds are comfortable and amenities adequate. It was nice to have our own pool and washer and dryer! The steps going up stairs are very steep and if you have any mobility issues, upstairs would be a challenge to get to. It would have been nice to have a little coffee in the cabinet and few bottles of water in the fridge considering the price of the unit but all in all, if you are looking for a private escape, this is a nice place.

A buddy and I planned a trip to celebrate our wives’ 50th birthday. We rented Potters Cottage from HKWVR for our stay in Key West. Best move we could have made. Both wives were so happy and the husbands are calling this a Big Win. To a person, everyone that we interacted with at Historic Key West was so friendly and helpful, and most importantly, they joined our mission to make sure the ladies had a great time. The concierge services were top notch and helped with reservations and advice. 10 out of 10.

Great location near shops, restaurants, and nightlife. The Duval loop stop right next to the cottage makes destinations out of walking distance easily accessible. The house itself had everything we needed and the pool was an amazing treat after a full day out and about. The two bedrooms and a small side room was plenty of room for my family of 5. Potter's Cottage is a nice, well kept property. The few downsides ...it was markedly smaller than depicted in pictures.
...the distance to the more popular areas of the island was a problem
...checking out and recycling was questionable since a list of recycleable items could not be found in the literature provided. We did not recycle anything but aluminum and plastic (Paper, glass, etc was not included).

Perfect location
Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. It was everything we wanted and more. The location was excellent. We were so close to restaurants, shops, art galleries and activities that we didn’t even use our car after we arrived. The atmosphere & pool in the back was so nice and relaxing it was hard to leave. We also had a wonderful time “people watching” from the front porch where you also get a lovely view of the lighthouse. We absolutely loved everything about your home and Key West. The management company and it’s employees were top notch. So nice and helpful! Thank you for making our vacation better then we imagined. We look forward to staying here again very soon.
