A beautiful property filled with history, great for family reunions, well equipped pool space, perfect place for ping pong and bocce tournaments, wonderful and helpful host. An Italian dream!

Inside very roomy, lovely furnishings and spectacular rooms. Outside terrific large courtyard and large swimming pool. Views around the grounds lovely.

No dislikes. Pathway through to swimming pool was a little bit too rustic but still OK.

Everything from the moment we arrived!

We were a little way outside the nearest small town for restaurants, which was a sort drive away

the pool and pool house was the big draw card. the history and scale of the property is amazing and photos do not do this property justice. the facilities were great and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. the courtyard and rooftops are beautiful - so many options for an afternoon antipasto plate and aperitif!

some of the baths/showers did not drain properly which would be an easy fix. there is no a/c at this property; so it is hot in the peak of summer. However, there were plenty of fans available for us to use and it does cool down at night so it was lovely when all doors and windows were open (don’t worry there are fly screens for the bedrooms). We spent the days by the pool which also has a pool house / fridge and bathrooms which also has a beautiful view and breeze during the daytime.

We loved the property! The swimming pool area is great and we felt really welcome. It is like living in a huge palace with high ceilings and a lot of history.

Everything was wonderful. The only thing that could be improved is the shower in the master bedroom which overflowed quickly
