Die beste Lage in der Stadt! Ich habe versucht, ein Haus in der Batterie für Jahre zu kaufen und schließlich fand diese Uferpromenade, 5 Jahre alt erstaunliche Äußere Batterie zu Hause! 2 Betten und 2 Bäder über 1700 Quadratfuß und erstaunliche Lage ... Offene Planung und Ansichten von Ort zu bleiben .... Feb 2016, Conde Nast Traveller nannte die Outer Battery Village einer der "schönsten Orte in Kanada ... ". Sie sagten weiter "... Sunny gelb, Kirschrot, türkisblau-St. Johns 'Pop-Art-farbigen Häusern, die gemeinsam als Jellybean Row bekannt sind, schauen besonders beeindruckend in den Klippen dieser Atmosphäre-durchnäßten Küstenvierteln außerhalb der Innenstadt ... "
Wir sind buchstäblich Schritte auf die Spur zu Fuß bis zum Signal Hill National Park und haben andere Wanderwege mit engen Zugang zum Grand Concourse städtischen Trail-System. 5 Minuten von der Innenstadt mit dem Auto und 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Es hat ein Deck mit Panoramablick auf den Hafen und zu sehen.
Dies ist die beste Lage in der Stadt und ein toller Ausgangspunkt, um diese erstaunliche Provinz zu genießen!

Our stay at Patricia's Luxury Waterfront Home at the bottom of Signal Hill more than exceeded our expectations! The two decks were the most amazing place to sit and relax in the morning / evening with full panoramic views of the harbour & inlet which can also be seen and enjoyed from the bright & clean upstairs kitchen & family room. The kitchen is well stocked with coffee & tea plus all the pots and pans you might need for cooking. The two bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with waterfront views. (Our kids, ages 9 & 10, found the 3rd bedroom/den a little claustrophobic and opted to share the 2nd bedroom.) As others remarked, the street access to the house and driveway are VERY narrow - I wouldn't suggest arriving in the dark as it could be a real challenge. The location is perfect if you also enjoy hiking up Signal Hill to take in the breathtaking views along the coast.

This property has beautiful on the water views and is great for hiking. The accommodation has everything you would need for a very comfortable place to stay.

When we entered the property we were thrilled with the cosy clean feel of the home. We stayed 8 nights and enjoyed it thoroughly. Water views from every angle. The home is very well equipped and the pics do not do this place justice. Its paradise. Only bit of stress was getting the car in and out of the area for a small stretch that is only one lane. Parking was no issue. Highly recommend this property.

We had a terrific stay at this cottage. It was well-equipped and was located in a wonderful location. It was hot during at stay in St John’s but the ocean breezes cooled us while we sat on the deck. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately we didn't make it to your property. Our flight from Waterloo International airport was about to land in st.johns when he decided it was too foggy and flew us back to Waterloo. 12 hours on a plane to end up right back where we started.
We lost our transportation also, no cars to be found on the island to rent.
I reached out to VRBO try and cancel our stay but I have not received a response
Some sort of refund would be nice as we never even entered said property.

we really enjoyed staying here. just sitting out on the deck and watching the Harbour was great. walk to town didnt take long. the place was very clean and had everything you would need.we felt we couldn't have picked a better place to enjoy our time in st.johns.

This property is fantastic. The view of the harbour and many cruise and other ships is amazing! All four of us loved everything about this place and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to St. John’s!

This is very comfortable accommodation in an historic location with fabulous views of the St. John’s harbour. Well appointed, charming house close to Signal Hill, Quidi Vidi and downtown. Very friendly neighbors. We enjoyed our stay here.

Wonderful home right on the waterfront!
This is a terrific place to stay in St. Johns were you can see both downtown St.Johns and the open ocean from the same spot. Lot's of windows and natural light in the design of the home which make your views that much more enjoyable.
You can easily walk up and down Signal Hill as it is practically beside it. Highly recommend.

This was an excellent location if you’re looking for some waterfront relaxation with a short albeit hilly walk to St.Johns. Great location for some spectacular hiking as well. We are hoping to come back again. Everything was perfect. :)

We loved walking into St. John’s and up to signal hill but mostly just loved the view of the harbour from the whole place and both decks! The boats were so interesting to watch coming in and out! We didn’t want to leave this place!

Our VRBO rental was an exceptional new home situated on the Harbour. From the 2 decks, you can watch fishing boats, cruise ships, Oceanex Ships, and sailing boats. Situated on the famous Signal Hill Trail. The house is outstanding!! With updated black washer and dryer (a beauty to use). Seagulls hatching on the rocks below. Owner and cleaners readily available for any question. Neighbours Ches and Flo truly the real Newfoundlanders.

This property is amazing! Unbeatable views steeped in history surrounded by beautiful people/neighbours. Can't beat the position; the home is so well equipped and super comfortable you need for nothing. Parking and driving the narrow lanes was an experience but everyone was patient. Loved watching all the passing vessels go by.

We just had a wonderful 4 night stay at this waterfront property. The location and amenities can’t be beat. It’s easy to get to from the airport; it’s at the start of the most popular hike in St. John’s and also easy to walk to downtown. Small parking space for your rental car. The house is VERY well stocked with everything we could have needed. This property and it’s owner offer amazing value for money and we would not hesitate to stay again. Thanks for everything!

Well equipped house with an excellent view of the harbour. If you are renting a car, make sure you book a small to midsize vehicle, parking is interesting!

Stay here if you are looking for a rental in the Battery! The house is gorgeous the pictures do not do it justice. A fully equipped home it had everything we needed. We didn't rent a car we took Jiffy taxi (highly recommend). Lots of hills but if I can do it anyone can🙂 within walking distances of restaurants, Vu and the Fish Exchange were our favorites.

The view from this cottage is amazing. It’s the flavour of Newfoundland right at your door. The roads in and around the cottage is not for the faint of heart. Our vehicle was too big to park at the cottage which makes things interesting especially for unloading your luggage.
The cottage is well maintained and had wonderful amenities. The only item missing from the listing was a tv. The owner asked if we would like her to replace one that had broken recently and although we indicated we would like one, she was not able to accommodate our request. She offered to cancel and refund our booking but since it was so close to the time we were staying, canceling and trying to find new accommodations wasn’t realistic for us.
The proximity to downtown ( within walking distance) great helpful neighbour Chess, sweeping views, access to trails and a well appointed home, help made our stay wonderful. We enjoyed our time here.

This little gem on the Outer Battery provided an oasis from busy downtown St. John’s. On the path to Signal hill, a hiker’s dream. A 14 minute walk to Water and Duckworth. Relax in the deck and watch the ships sail through the Narrows aon their way to the Harbour.

Loved the harbour view - mesmerizing! House is well appointed and comfortable. Location in “The Battery” was an adventure to get in and out from as the roads narrow down to one way, like being in a European town! Must be fit to walk to town! Great place for hikers!

Beautiful house in an extremely interesting area. Directly on the water. Loved watching the ships and sea birds. 10 minute hilly and challenging walk to restaurants and cafe. 15-20 minute walk downtown. The open area of the house (kitchen, sitting room, dining room) was bright and looked out over the harbour. The house was modern and well supplied with everything we needed. Terrific stay !!

This property is located in a delightful location in the Battery. It is directly on St. John’s harbour. The view is stelar. The Battery is unique . It was once a fishing village steeped in history.
There are many hiking trails to explore.
The property is beautiful. It has everything required to give it a home away from home feel.
I would highly recommend it .
It is a place that is difficult to leave.

Cozy unique property in a interesting location. Could have been cleaner and less personal items left in bathroom. Located on the water near the mouth of the harbor , enjoyed watching the ships come In and Out. No cable as advertised and being there 4 nights missed watching the news and sports (probably an age thing!) Overall enjoyed the property.

The house was clean and tidy, with all the amenities one could hope to find at a home away from home. The proprietor is easy to reach and beyond helpful; entry to the accommodation was easily done and the tips and advice regarding the area was paramount. I can say that view from the porch offers excellent vessel sightings and an engaging, always changing environment to look upon. I highly recommend this location if you are looking for comfortable housing in a prime location; only a hop, skip, and a jump from downtown and even a wonderous harbourside trail. Your adventure in Newfoundland will only be heightened by staying here.

Roomy, clean and very comfortable home right on the water with dinning and lounging views of the harbour. Close to downtown and walking paths. An excellent experience of life in St. Johns!
