The house was in a beautiful neighborhood very close to bars and restaurants. The house itself was very clean and spacious. The hot tub was the best part and our favorite way to end the day. The yard was also perfect for our pups to run around. The house had everything we needed to feel at home, the kitchen was very well-equipped. We would definitely stay here again.

When we showed up, the house had not been cleaned and the properties managers options was to refund my money and find someplace else to stay pretty hard to do when you have eight adults planning on a vacation we ended up getting in to the house at midnight instead of four in the afternoon after it was cleaned there there was a few minor repairs that need to be made. I conveyed them to the property manager with no communication back. once the house was cleaned, it was a great place close walking distance to the beach and stores and restaurants.

The house was amazing for the price and was walking distance to the beach and several restaurants and shopping. I would recommend bringing an air mattress vs the pull out couch bed, but my husband and I don't have great backs. The living room couch is VERY comfortable!!

This is not a party location - it is an excellent quiet property for a large family group. Great access to beach, bay and restaurants but in relaxed quiet neighborhood. Property is in great shape, clean and the backyard is great.

House was everything it was advertised to be! It was immaculately clean & had everything we needed during our stay. Location was PERFECT! Access to the house was easy & we were able to check in early. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Would definitely stay there again on my next trip to PB!!!

Perfect!

We had a great stay. The house was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and walking to the beach. The only problem we had was with the front security screen door. Someone accidentally locked it and no one had the key including the property manager. Luckily we were able to open it without a key.

Our family enjoyed staying at this house. The house is large enough for a family of 5 and is walking distance to the beach and Pacific Beach.

The property was perfect for our needs. The hot tub was fun. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and dining room worked great! It was nice and clean.

This large beach house was perfect for our family vacation. It had everything we needed and was very clean. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the convenience of 3 bathrooms was a plus!

The House is well stocked with kitchen/laundry necessities. Beds were very comfortable. Located in a quiet North Pacific beach neighborhood only a 4 block walk to the beach. Walking distance to lots of restaurants/ shops / grocery and pharmacy. The 6 person Hot tub in the fenced in private yard was a relaxing place to hang out. Plenty of seating to accommodate guests The lemon tree had some incredible large juicy lemons we enjoyed. House can easily accommodate 3 couples. The area off the master can be used for young children There’s plenty of places nearby to rent bikes / beach chairs and surf boards. There were only two beach chairs which was fine but for larger groups it be nice if more were available. Owner was very responsive to any questions that arose. We had a lovely two week stay here and look forward to return in the future Gave this 5 stars all around

Easy walk to the beach and nearby restaurants and stores.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The home is comfortable and close to the beach. It’s a beautiful neighborhood and very quiet.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Pacific Beach Oasis. I stayed with a group of 8 and there was just as much space and privacy as I could have hoped for. The kitchen was well equipped, there were plenty of bed spots, and the location was great. Highly recommend!

Adding an air conditioner to bedrooms was the only thing we suggested as it was a little warm to sleep. Otherwise, we all loved the place. It had all the amenities one would need. Thank you!

I have used VRBO often and this is my ONLY 2-Star rating! I know what should be expected from a VRBO rental. I would have rated this a "1", but John at least responded to us when trying to resolve issues. However, he never fully resolved the majority of the problems. In general, the house is old and tired - sheets torn and stained, rusted metal medicine cabinets, broken towel rack/toilet paper holder, frozen-over freezer, toilets and showers overflowing (ongoing plumbing issue mentioned in several prior reviews - I asked John if it had been resolved prior to check-in. He said yes, but nothing had been done.) We were limited to 1-bathroom due to plumbing issues. I requested a partial refund and was denied. The extra guest could not stay because no sheets were available for the pull-out couch even though I paid the extra guest fee. Also requested cleaning fee refund due to dirty sheets/comforters, that was also denied. In summary, I would not rent this VRBO until these issues are addressed. At the daily rate being charged, this VRBO rental can afford to have the most basic living conditions addressed.

This property should not list that it has a working master bathroom. The shower was completely unusable. This has obviously been an ongoing problem since it is mentioned in previous reviews. It was unfortunate to find mold and a broken shower floor in the only alternative bathroom. The refrigerator had an overwhelming awful smell of rotten fish for most of our stay. Overall cleaning in the house was needed. And though the walk to the beach is only five blocks away, you need to walk much further to get to the swimming portion of the beach, Making the walk too long for a little kids.

Pros the home in a great location. House is bigger than what it looks like on photos. Rooms and beds pretty large with comfortable beds Cons: the issues from the previous reviews were not resolved. The main shower did not drain when showing. Does not matter how many fans you have in the house in the warmer months it’s gets extremely uncomfortable hot in house that has 0 AC and does not cool off at night. I would stay in this home again maybe in the winter months.

House was very spacious. Backyard was perfect for bbqing, relaxing, and soaking in hot tub. Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. All the amenities you need. We were there for my daughters college graduation. We have a good size Italian family. My daughter wanted a traditional Italian dinner with a few friends and their parents. The kitchen could use a few more large pots and pans. In saying that, we own an Italian restaurant, so our needs are larger than most. Lol! There is plenty of seating inside and out for entertaining. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. We easily fit 2 mid size cars in the driveway. We would definitely rent again.

The location was perfect, only 3 and 1/2 blocks to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. The Master bedroom was nice. Kitchen fully stocked. Walking distance to great restaurants. We truly enjoyed our stay.

This house is close to everything, yet on a very quiet street.

We enjoyed our stay here despite the fact that the hot tub didn't work for our entire stay. The location was perfect for us - only 5 blocks to the beach yet on a quiet street with plenty of parking. We notified the property manager about the hot tub, and he was very responsive. Unfortunately, it couldn't get fixed in time.

Loved our trip. Check in was easy and the location can’t be beat. Close enough to everything but far enough away to be quiet at night.
