Nice little spot for a low key visit to the coast

Very peaceful. The place was very clean.

Compact, near the center of everything and comfortable

This spot was great! Had nice amenities and was conveniently located near downtown, the beach and other activities around Seaside! Only complaint is the heater took forever to warm the house and turned off randomly even when goal heat was not met. There are space heaters, but it was still pretty chilly. The hosts were great communicators and easy to work with.

Rat in house!!! No body got back to us. Had to leave and stay somewhere else. Bed looks like they found on side of the road

Small home for short vacation worked well with pets. Close to the beach for convenience.

I don’t know if we just got a bad weekend ? But the house was clean but HOT! Somehow the heat was left on set to come on, which it kept doing each night we attempted to lower the heat (set for 25 degrees Celsius- why Celsius not sure) so that I would stop coming on and sweating us out. The windows for 80-% of the house are picture only, they don’t open so if the house is hot and it doesn’t cool down at night there are no fans to help you cool down. That plus the hard as a rock bed had us leaving a day early. It was too hot and uncomfortable.

Appeared to be adequate parking for one vehicle on street. Listing stipulated that we park our vehicle at the apartment across and down the street. Apartment parking area totally dark at end of building at night. What an environment for potential theft! Also, we seniors require grab bars in the shower stall. Did not use shower as a result. Location great! Home overall was comfortable and setting was quiet and peaceful. Parking and shower concerns cancel any desire to rent this home again.

My husband and I and our little dog had a wonderful stay in Seaside. The pros for this rental are: cute, little fenced backyard, full sized washer/dryer and great location. Only 2 blocks to the main drag and the Promenade, everything in walking distance. WIFI worked great! The cons: poor ventilation since half the windows don't open and those that did weren't screened. It was very musty smelling, part due to the warm weather, but the house just smells old. We couldn't find a fan (house has 4 heaters) so it was pretty warm the first night. Everything in the kitchen works, but bring your own knives - pots and pans need updating as well. Nice size gas grill, but we didn't use it since it was pretty dirty. Would we stay again? An unethusiastic maybe.

This home was perfect! It was very clean upon arrival and it was even ready 2 hours early! It was within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. The house is well equipped to make delicious meals at home too and the backyard is small but so cute and perfect. We loved our stay and plan to return and stay here again. ?

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. I can’t even believe how close it was to everything. We basically didn’t even have to drive anywhere. It’s literally less than half a block from downtown Seaside. 2 blocks from the beach. Cute, clean backyard. Clean little house. Slight old house smell. That may have been intensified by the fact that it was all closed up and uncomfortably warm. We did stay in mid July so it is warmer. The problem is only 3 windows in the house open up. The bedroom and kitchen windows open but have no screens and the bathroom opens. None of the other windows open. Opening the front and back doors with the windows on the storms doors open did help. Some minor things like the left half of the toaster doesn’t pop up and the water from the shower kind of gets water all over the floor but they provide plenty of towels. Vacasa was very responsive when I texted them about 2 issues I had. The problem was that nothing was done about them. There was no parking pass anywhere in the house. The spaces in the apartment complex across the street would not have been far but one car always parked across one or two of the spaces sideways. However, the street in front of the house is public parking available to anyone so we were not without parking. They stated later that someone said when I contacted them that they would meet me with a parking pass but this was not the case at all. I was confused as to why an employee would say they said that when they didn’t. The sofa bed was probably the only problem. The sofa sinks in the front and when we went to pull the bed out many pieces appeared to be broken and non-functional to the point it would not come out and would not go back in. One of the springs for it was on top of a pillow in the linen chest/coffee table. When I texted they said they will have someone out to fix it that day. That was Monday morning. We left Thursday and no one had ever come out. They did apologize for this. Honestly I am going to make sure I book this house next time I go to Seaside. Even the walk back from the beach late at night was a short, safe, well-lit walk.

Not only was this house perfectly set up for our stay wit all the amenities that one would need, but the location was perfect as well. Planning our next trip already.

Great location and very clean. Never got any response from any phone number or texting box available. The heater broke on our first night and I ended up getting very sick for the rest of my trip after sleeping in a freezing cold house. Nobody to call and come help. Wanted a partial refund but still no one could communicate back when I filled out my first review🙄

This beach cottage was just perfect for my husband and I and our shih tzu. We walked to the main street for dinner and to the winery. We walked to get coffee and to the beach several times. It was just perfect for a long weekend getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

We did fine and enjoyed our stay. Property is getting a bit tired and in need of some TLC. Screen door closers are rusting away. Wall lamp in bedroom did not function. Bed was not very comfortable but it was okay. Close to town.

The shower pan gives way as if there is a leak under the shower . Also as I reported silverware and mugs were used with visible food stuck on some silverware and inside mugs. I had to buy sanitizer and wash all dishes in the cupboard to feel safe during Covid 19. Disappointed in these problems because they were so basic to sanitation. Very cute vintage cottage that needs attention.

This cabin was perfect for my wife and I along with our dog. There is a clean fenced in backyard for the dog to explore. The cabin is clean and well furnished. The location is perfect. It is within easy walking distance of the beach, shops, and promenade. It's convenient but also quiet, you can hear the roar of the waves over any crowd noise. I had a great time here!

Cute and clean. Just blocks from everything.

This was our families 3rd trip to the Sunfish. Very clean, and ready to go at check in. Close to the beach and town, a great place to stay, and with dog it can’t be beat. We’ll be back!

It has an awesome private backyard and sun room.The place could use some modern touch ups as well as a deep clean. It didn’t have a dresser or end tables in the bedroom or sunroom for drinks and other things.There could be more ventilation for hotter days and more heat for colder nights. The only heater is in the living room and we were cold at night.The location made the place great but it has more potential.

My 11 yr. four-legged faithful companion and I very much enjoyed our peaceful alone time. We can't wait to come back. Accommodations were clean and cozy.

They were great and kept communication open about timing of repairs. Found a few rodent traps so must be a problem, thank goodness none popped durning my stay. House had great potential but most likely would not stay there again.

Everyone please be aware, we saw multiple rats running in this house...and reaching out to the customer service was just a hassle. We’re still traumatized by the experience.
