Beautiful, Comfortable Home with Exceptional In-Town Location
Willkommen im Moose Manor Bar Harbor. Dies ist unsere Heimat, und wir würden es gerne mit Ihnen teilen! Gelegen auf dem Federal Street, ist Moose Manor ein 1904 New England-Stil Haus mit allen Upgrades und Annehmlichkeiten des modernen Lebens. voll ausgestattete Designer-Küche und eine komplett aktualisiert Bad Frisch überall mit exquisiten, lackiert. Alle Komfort von zu Hause in einer perfekten Lage, alles zu Fuß erreichen.
Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer, die bequem schlafen 6. Ein Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelbett, das zweite hat eine volle und zwei Einzelbetten und das dritte hat einen Zwilling. Es gibt ein Badezimmer (mit einem wunderbaren Klauenfüßen Wanne!) in der zweiten Etage. In jedem Schlafzimmer Wandspiegel, um die Nachfrage für Badezimmerspiegel zu reduzieren. Schlafzimmer enthält ein Schminktisch mit Licht / Spiegel. Alle Zimmer verfügen über viel Sonne und Meeresbrise.
Die vor dem Haus verfügt über eine herrliche geschlossene Veranda mit einem Bistro-Tisch / Stühle, Rocker und Futon. Perfekt für Kaffee am Morgen oder ein Nickerchen am Nachmittag. Der weiche Klang der lokalen Möwen ist oft vorhanden.
In der Rückseite des Hauses, gleich neben der Küche, gibt es einen kleinen Holzdeck mit einem Weber Grill finden und den Vorsitz in der kühlen Nachmittag Brise zu genießen, während Ihr Steak grillen ist.
Die Küche hat alles, was Sie brauchen, wenn Sie sich für einige Ihrer eigenen Mahlzeiten während Ihres Aufenthaltes vorzubereiten, darunter auch einige grundlegende Speisekammer Artikel für Ihren Einsatz finden. Top-of-the-line-Kleingeräte (einschließlich Bunn Kaffeemaschine!) sind ebenfalls vorhanden. We've stayed in the area a few times before (in the park or on Somes Sound). this was first time staying in town.
A few key points:
- the house is lovely, so well appointed, clean, comfortable, great layout, and quiet (in a nice residential area tucked into center of town).
- communication with the owner was spot on, we knew just what to expect evey step of the way, and he was provided many helpful tips on local points of interest in restaurants
- the location is unbelievably convenient. i mean unbelievably convenient. you have a lovely, quiet house with off street parking to come home to that is mere steps away from a myriad of shops and restaurants, and just down the road from the park and loads more sights.
- we loved every bit of our vacation, made all the more special given the home we enjoyed as our base of operations for all sorts of adventures (hiking, kayaking, etc, etc.).

Our family of 4 had a PERFECT vacation. Everything at the home was precisely as advertised, and perfectly spotless. We contemplated staying a couple miles outside of downtown, but this was the most enjoyable vacation ever- Just a short walk to all meals, gorgeous downtown, and beautiful views of the harbor; or a 10 minute drive into Acadia. Paul was a great and responsive host and we had a great time! We will absolutely be coming back!

Location is about as convenient as you can get for Bar Harbor. The house was perfect for our family of four. Paul was a wonderful host whose suggestions on activities and restaurants ended up being our favorite parts of the trip.

Very cute and comfortable home perfect for our family of 6. Walking distance to all restaurants and shopping in Bar Harbor. Also, the shuttle bus into Acadia was very close as well. As a result, this was a vacation from the car which was nice too.
Hosts were amazing and made everything better.

My husband and I had a great week-long stay at Moose Manor! The house was clean, comfortable, well-stocked and in a fantastic location in Bar Harbor. We had to work remotely part of the time, and the internet connection did not disappoint. Paul was a wonderful host, with great communication before, and great suggestions for activities and restaurants. Thanks for a relaxing stay, and we hope to be back soon!

My husband and I both loved the location of this property. Quiet street and a short walk to all of the restaurants and shops in Bar Harbor. We walked to dinner every night. Easy drive to Acadia. The house was very clean. The off street parking was nice. Our favorite part of the house was the enclosed front porch. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful week in Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and beyond! The location of Moose Manor makes it super easy to walk to the waterfront, shops and restaurants in the town of Bar Harbor as you are right there. With no worries for parking. You are also walking distance to go across the sand bar at low tide to Bar Harbor. This home had everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout the house. The beds are very comfortable. We really liked all the space on the enclosed front porch. And the dining and living room.
I look forward to coming back to Moose Manor next year!

We had a great stay at this property. The location was important to us and this house was ideal. We walked to everything...restaurants, shops, supermarket, all the sightseeing in town. We biked from the home to the carriage trails which was our criteria for picking a place to stay. The home was a home...comfortable, clean, cozy. We loved sitting on the screened in porch having a glass of wine after a day in the park. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time in Acadia with our family of 6. Our two boys shared the large second room, our almost teenage daughter enjoyed the smallest charming bedroom, and we shared the largest bedroom with our baby daughter. It was a perfect layout for us. We were so happy to walk into town for ice cream and dinner after long days of hiking! We also loved the awesome downstairs layout and the porch, where we watched the torrential rain on Wednesday. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were so comfortable! We were so happy here. Thank you!

We completely enjoyed our stay in Bar Harbor! Moose Manor is in a great location right downtown and had very easy parking! The whole town was walkable including the grocery store so we only needed the car for our daily hiking and biking excursions into Acadia. Kitchen was supplied with everything we needed, and the house was comfortable! We would not hesitate to book again!

Bar Harbor is a special place and Moose Manor was very comfortable and well located. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend. Our host was extreme helpful throughout the stay with recommendations for anything we needed.

Stayed in this home with our 9 month old, 3 yo, and 5 yo. The description was very accurate, and Paul was great to work with and had wonderful suggestions on activities. I can't overstate how great the location is within Bar Harbor. Easy to walk to everything and don't have to fight parking during a busy summer season.

Our stay at Moose Manor was amazing! You can’t ask for a better location in Bar Harbor. It is a quiet area, yet just steps away from the action and beautiful scenery. Paul goes out of his way to make your vacation special. All of his suggestions were perfect for our family. We would no doubt stay at Moose Manor again!

Paul was a gracious and meticulous host. The house is beautiful and thoughtfully stocked. Couldn't be closer to the action while also having quick access to the park.
No a/c was not an issue - except a bit of early morning noise from the neighboring post office for those in the main bedroom - but getting up early was ok with us when there is so much to do. With 6 people in the house, have only one bathroom took some organizational efforts, but it was fine. We look forward to returning!

Moose Manor Lodge is situated in the perfect location to take advantage of all downtown Bar Harbor has to offer. All of Bar Harbor's amenities are walkable and the off-street parking is appreciated. Someone from my group went to Acadia National Park everyday of our 1 week stay and going back and forth to the park is a short distance by car. The house has a nice kitchen and plenty of dining space. We appreciated the lobster supplies, as we cooked our own lobsters 2 times during our stay. I also enjoyed sitting on the enclosed porch on the cooler mornings. The owner was very responsive when we had a question during our stay. What a lovely home, we can't wait to stay again on our next trip to Bar Harbor.

Overall this is a great property. The kitchen has everything you need (which isn't always true), the living room was very comfortable and was stocked with a pile of great movies/ games, and the beds were just right. The unit's location is absolutely the best. We have stayed in Bar Harbor many times but Moose Manor offered far and away the best place to stay. You were just a few steps from everything so no worries about finding a parking spot. The owner was extremely helpful before, during, and even after our stay. We have used VRBO countless times but he is an A+++. My only suggestion, as we continue to experience climate change a couple of air conditioners upstairs would be nice. Still, as a family we would stay here everytime we visit Bar Harbor!

Paul the owner was phenomenal host. Always checking in with us to make sure our stay was going well. Emailed us with several ideas of things to do that we had not even thought of. Excellent owners and they know how to treat their guests. The home was extremely clean and very nice. It is perfectly located in the middle of Bar Harbor where we hardly ever needed a vehicle. Convenience! Walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor - including a well stocked grocery store - made our stay at this house incredibly easy and comfortable. Acadia is a short ride away, and we recommend the island shuttle service for less hassle. Excellent communication with the owner and appreciated suggestions on what to do in the area. Highly recommend Moose Manor
Moose Manor is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Bar Harbor on a quiet, low traffic street and included off-street parking. The home was extremely clean with a well-equipped kitchen and everything we needed. The communication with Paul was excellent, leading up to our trip, during the trip and post-trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moose Manor and highly recommend this home.

Lovely week in the heart of it all!!
My family loves to spend the week of the 4th in Bar Harbor!! We hadn’t been back in a few years and this trip did not disappoint!! Paul and Joy’s home is comfortable, cute, and literally steps from everything that downtown Bar Harbor has to offer, as well as being close (walking distance) to both the Carriage Trails and the College of the Atlantic. For us, a family of 4 with kids aged 8 and 10, the location was hands-down the best we’ve experienced. We biked to Acadia, could have walked to COA for our Diver Ed tour, and were right in town whenever we needed anything. We all enjoyed some downtime, after hiking/biking/kayaking, etc., reading on the front porch or playing games or watching movies at the house. Paul was super easy to communicate with and very warm and friendly. My husband and I are already discussing re-booking for next year. :)

Just an Awesome stay
The House was as described. The Location was great. It was a block from shops in Bar Harbor and you have your own parking so you do not have to worry about finding and paying for that. The House was also only minutes from Acadia NP. The owner, Paul, communicates with you in a professional and timely manner. He also will email with ideas of things that you can do in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect vacation location!
Moose Manor came highly recommended by friends who also stayed here and it did not disappoint! Beautifully maintained home within walking distance of everything (shops, restaurants, grocery, etc.) and a short driving distance to Acadia. Paul is a great host who truly looks out for his guests. Our week in Bar Harbor
We had an amazing week in Bar Harbor while staying at Moose Manor. The location was fabulous as we were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants easily and were able to avoid having to park in town (which can get busy). It was easy driving distance to Acadia or other areas on the Island. I would highly recommend this property and a visit to Bar Harbor/Acadia to anyone!

Perfect Vacation Rental!
Wow, Paul and Joy just made it so easy for us to have the best vacation! You cannot beat the location - right in town, but on a private street. Moose Manor is well- maintained and clearly a very loved property. It has a great enclosed front porch and plenty of space to relax on the main living floor. Everything was clean, tidy, and well labeled. The house was well equipped with everything we needed to be comfortable, including boxed fans for each bed and a pack-and-play for our daughter. Paul was very accessible throughout the whole process, and was the perfect host. This is a rare find! Close to town, but private... ample parking... spacious... both indoor and outdoor spaces... easy self-checkin... etc.
Of note, the clawfoot bathroom tub is a little slippery, but there are bars to help with getting in and out. If you have small children, they may need a little help to be sure they can get in and out safely. Also, Paul notes that the front bedrooms of the house are a bit quieter. Because the house is so close to town, it's also pretty close to the Postal Office! As some other reviews stated, it does get pretty noisy around 6:30 am in the bedroom right next to the bathroom... This didn't pose a problem for us since we're early risers, but if you prefer to sleep in a bit, you may want to choose another bedroom or use a Sound Machine (White Noise) machine or app.
We'd definitely recommend staying here if you can, and will 100% be back! :)

The Perfect Location
Paul and Joy’s property was great! The in-town location was perfect. A very short walk to shopping along the main street, all the best restaurants, and the bar island path for low tide. The house was spotless, had everything we may have needed, and Paul made communication a breeze. Will definitely come back to stay here!

Wonderful home, perfect location
Moose Manor is the perfect location in the heart of downtown on a quiet street. The home is equipped with everything you need, very comfortable beds and a lovely screened in porch. Paul was a great host checking in with us on arrival to make sure we were checked in ok.and even providing the local tide chart! Great Fall Getaway
We had a lovely week at this property. The house was clean, the kitchen was modern and well-stocked, the beds very comfortable, and host Paul was helpful and available for any questions. The best feature of the house is the location - right in the center of Bar Harbor surrounded by restaurants and shops, an easy walk to village points of interest like the Shore Path and a short drive to the park entrance points. It was immensely convenient to have our own off-street parking spot.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will choose this home again when we return to Bar Harbor.
