The home was clean and well-stocked with plenty of space for everyone. Loved the living area for hanging out and the beds were all very comfortable. Easy walk to the beach and wonderful outdoor space. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and ping pong table. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time. The house was very spacious and clean and the location was very good. It's a great dog-friendly property and we have no complaints. Ronni was nice to work with. The only disappointment we had was that, never having been to Nags Head, we didn't know the dunes were so big and that you wouldn't see the ocean from the house despite being oceanfront. But we still had a lovely time.

Roomy, clean, and fully equipped house. Perfect for big families! Multiple rooms and large living area which gives families enough room to spread out and enjoy time at the beach without feeling like everyone is on top of each other. Many games to entertain, fully stocked kitchen, fun hottuband comfy beds. Close to grocery stores and other shopping, as well as great parks and local attractions. House was as described and property managers were responsive. We even left a few things there after we left and they were kind enough to let us know and mailed them back to us!

Great communication with the company , clean home and spacious . The plentiful deck furniture and spacious deck made the evenings a wonderful place to relax and the pool was amazing too . Kitchen overly stocked for large families including 2 large refrigerators. Layout of the home and just everything was top notch! 👍

Great place to stay ! The remodeling that has been done made the stay so much better! Easy access to the lower level was wonderful! The kitchen was well stocked ! I love the linens are from a service company. We went to the beach everyday and access was ok . A bit hard for our elderly but there are two public accesses very nearby. I would love to see a gazebo at the top of the dune so you could sit in the shade and experience the beach breeze. But I would definitely stay there again!

We had a group of 14 family members of all ages. Had an amazing time. The location is perfect for beach pictures. House is laid out well for plenty of space and privacy. Enjoyed our stay very much.

We love being able to see the stars from the hot tub! Love the easy walk over the dunes to the beach. Great water pressure, plenty of silverware for our large group. Not fancy, but lots of space, looking forward to seeing the renovations.

The property is a traditional wooden interior cabin like look with all updated amenities and kitchen accessories.. however the size to hold 3-4 large families.
Rooms and mattress were well maintained and host called both during checkin and checkout.. only request is would have preferred a top level observation deck to get a view of sunrise and ocean.. However being right at the beach it’s a 30 second walk away..

Great location, short walk to the beach although it was difficult to traverse the sand dunes for the older generations. Had some issues with clogged drains but a quick call and the maintenance man, Sandy, arrived to save the day. The property seemed a bit old. In need of some updates and outside painting. The kitchen was well supplied. The refrigerator and dishwasher had broken parts. There were 18 of us with five dogs. The house was a perfect size for our group.

I was actually surprised at how clean this property was. It is a very large home that accommodates lots of people. The pool could have been bigger. Because we had such a large group more kitchen supplies would have been helpful but we still manage with what we had.

Good location/oceanfront
The location is good. Th layout of rooms worked ok for us, but 6 baths are listed there are 4 with shower and 5 toilets. The jack and jill second floor has 1 shower 2 toilets. Pool was nice, hot tub worked well.
The place needs some sprucing up, paint power wash and replace some of the walkway boards. Drive in some of the protruding nails. The kitchen cabinets were humg to high. Dishwasher needs a new bottom rack. Bathrooms are nice and clean.

I stayed at Windswept with my kids and their families plus my infant granddaughter, friends who are like family and 3 dogs. The weather was rough so we spent a lot of time inside and the house was spacious and comfortable. We cooked a lot and found the kitchen to be stocked with anything you might need. The beds were so comfortable. We were able to spend a lot of quality time together and relax. I was lucky enough to meet Ronnie the owner and she was so friendly! Communication was always prompt and helpful. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. The dogs loved the dog run. You can just open the door to the deck and let them run down. I highly recommend Windswept!

The house was older and the downstairs was dark and outdated but true to the photos so it was what we expected. There were plenty of pros like a well stocked kitchen, easy access to the beach, and close to bars restaurants and shops, but the cons - we saw two cockroaches inside the cottage. Maybe this is typical of the south, I am not sure, but it needs to be sprayed. Also the pool was freezing cold. Perhaps we were there just a little too early in the season as I suspect they may have just opened the pool. There is no view of the ocean but the photos are not misleading and it was a very short walk over a small dune.

Wonderful Getaway

I would highly recommend Ronni & this property, or her company in general. This was our first time not staying at a hotel & the experience was wonderful. The minor hiccups were not a big deal, Ronni was great at explaining how to handle things the next time. It was so nice being able to walk to the beach anytime we wanted, plus the hot tub was the best! It was extremely clean & I thought the views were beautiful. I can’t remember the name of the young woman we dealt with the day we checked in but she was pleasant as well. My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer lol. Definitely a five star place!

Cleanest Property Ever Highly Recommend
This was our first family vacation. There were 10 adults, 2 teenagers, 4 under age of 7 & 5 fur babies. Everything was perfect. The house was the cleanest that I have ever stayed at, kitchen had everything anyone needed, cookware was state of art. The linens were top of the line, beds comfortable & furniture was great. The hot tub was a success. The fur babies enjoyed the dog run. I highly recommend this home & would stay at Windswept again. Thank you so much! A. Alley & family

You can’t beat this short walk over a dune to the beach, but I wish the water could be seen from the deck. (It can if you’re tall haha.). The house was fully stocked to cook all of our meals and plenty of room. We were actually supposed to be a group of 12 but thanks to sickness it was just my husband and I with 7 bedrooms! We stayed on the main floor and it was great being able to have our dogs there too. We ate in but there’s also plenty of restaurants close as well as shopping.

Great location, wonderful property manager
My family had a great stay at Windswept. The location is great and the property manager was incredibly responsive. The extra fridge and the wine fridge came in handy. The beds are very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place. Would not hesitate to rent it again. Nice that there was an extra full-size fridge, a wine cooler and a stand-alone icemaker. Only issue was that the housekeeping package we paid for wasn't there when we arrived. I had to call a couple different folks at the rental agency to get it delivered. But once I did, they responded very promptly.

Great vacation spot!
We were a group of 8 adults and 4 children ages 2-7, and we had a wonderful week long stay. The property was spacious, clean, and centrally located for the beach, restaurants and shopping. The short walk to the beach over the dune was easy enough and we did it several times daily. The pool was a big hit with the kids, and the hot tub worked perfectly. It was super easy to get in touch with the property manager and they were very accommodating. I have nothing negative to say about our stay, and we were all so happy to have booked this property.
