Everything about our stay here was fantastic! The photos do not do the property justice — the apartment and views were incredible. The owner of the property (Cora) couldn’t have been sweeter or more helpful arranging our trip. We will definitely be back the next time we visit St. Thomas.

There are several really great aspects of the villa. One is an amazing view from the balcony. Early in the morning and in the evening we would sit on the long balcony and just watch clouds moving by, the change of the light, and planes and ships moving in the distance. It was a great place for our family to spend time together. Another really wonderful aspect is the owner, Cora, and Daphne, the house manager. Both are very nice, caring people. Daphne was particularly helpful the day we arrived. The house itself is, generally, in good to very good condition. The kitchen and bathrooms are well kept and appointed. The layout is railroad car like with an expansive living room and dining room on one side leading to the balcony and bedrooms and kitchen on the shady side. The furnishings in the dining and living rooms are older but generally in good to very good condition. They were comfortable rooms to sit in. There are some minor things needing repair or replacement. A kitchen cabinet and dishwasher that had a strong mildew odor forcing us to wash dishes by hand. One of the beds was particularly soft. The rooms could benefit from blackout curtains as a motion-detector security light would go on in intermittently. There is some paint peeling in one room and an air conditioner that needed to be fixed. And at night there are birds chirping outside—depending on your need for quiet or the comforting sounds of nature—that could affect your sleep. As above, these were minor. I’ve given the house 4 stars—only because I can’t do 4.5.

Premiere view, well appointed and supplied. We had some challenges with technology but Cora's team was very helpful. Being met and led from the airport by Daphne made our Christmas arrival smooth. The view is made possible by climbing steep hills and navigating hairpin turns--insist on a young rental car with good transmission! Highly recommend Christian Villa.

After a long trip in her friend graciously went and picked us up food on the evening of our arrival. The home is beyond amazing as well. The house is incredibly clean and so beautiful. The Christian Villa is one of best stays I’ve had when renting a property for a large vacation party. The host was more than accommodating and helpful and everything we needed was taken care of prior to our arrival. The property itself is stunning and the pictures of the listing do not do it just. There are no other words to describe this property other than magnificent.

My family of 5 and our friends (family of 4) stayed in this beautiful villa for spring break. The property manager, Daphne, helped make this vacation memorable! The house was not only immaculate, but the service she provided was impeccable. She arranged for a chef to cook dinner for us one night (highly recommend!) and she also helped us arrange transportation for the week and even made our son’s birthday extra special! We just can’t say enough about the amazing hospitality and beautiful home with spectacular views!

From the moment we booked the Christian Villa, I knew we were in the best of hands and that this vacation would be unique and incredibly special. When we pulled into the gates, our 4 children ages 25, 22, 22, and 14, just said, "Wow!"...The views are magnificent! The property is modernized with all conveniences you could want, but retains the charm of a true island family home that has been enjoyed for generations. Dr. Christian was in communication with us regularly after we reserved the villa, and wanted to make sure all our needs were met before, during and after our stay. She had juices, wine, soda and plenty of ice stocked in the fridge upon arrival. Her friends, Judith and Ricky, met us at the airport and we followed them in our rented van to the villa. They acclimated us to the island and led us to a grocery store where we could stock up. The beauty of this vacation vs. staying at a resort is that we had a large and beautiful home with our own pool, incredible views, and tremendous privacy. We had the local friends of Dr. Christian that we could call if needed during our stay. We explored at our own pace, ate out when we wanted to, and cooked at the villa when we wanted to. Every evening was spent on the patio enjoying the view and the breezes and just talking. No TV or computer screens (except for the kids picking the next song to play for all of us on their phones). Our kids looked forward to this time, even when we told them they could watch a movie or play a game instead. This time was priceless. The memories that are created in a home are always the most special. The beautiful nature of the house, the spectacular views, and the friendliness of Dr. Christian's friends made this a vacation that my family will remember forever.

My husband and I got married at Christian Villa about 2 weeks ago and it was an absolute dream! From the moment we contacted Cora about hosting our wedding at her villa to the day we left for our honeymoon, she was just outstanding to work with- such a gracious host and willing to do absolutely anything we needed to ensure our comfort and happiness. If there was anything we needed, Cora was just a phone call away and help was sent over almost immediately. We had a group of 9 stay at the villa and everyone fell in love with the place, some are even thinking of going back again and were so sad to leave. When our wedding guests came over they were just blown away by the beauty of the villa and the views. Pictures do this place no justice- the views are simply breathtaking! Our entire wedding weekend and wedding day were more than we could have ever imagined. We had an amazing time and a wonderful wedding day. We don't even have the words to describe how perfect everything was! We can't thank Cora and her staff enough for making our dream of a beautiful destination wedding a reality at her villa! We would return in a heartbeat!

Perfect property for our group! The number of friends working and stopping by to make sure we were taken care of was much appreciated. The shuttle to the home was above and beyond. All of Cora's correspondence prior to arrival was excellent. The home is pristine, has everything you could ever need, and more than enough group. Would love to return!

We stayed in the Villa for my sister in law's destination wedding. We had a wonderful week! The views are absolutely amazing. We had seven people staying at the Villa and we all had plenty of space and privacy, it was great to be able to cook at the Villa and not have to go out for every meal. Cora was a wonderful host and made sure we were very comfortable during our stay. One day the stove stopped working so I called Cora and within 10 minutes the care taker had the stove working again! On our last night in at the Villa my brother in law who was staying with us at the Villa proposed to his girlfriend on the rooftop, what a picture perfect proposal!

We had an amazing week at the Christian Vila! Cora was an absolutely wonderful host and made us feel so comfortable and welcome. She picked us up from the airport and took us grocery shopping. The views at the Vila are beautiful; the pictures do not do them justice. Our group of 7 had plenty of space and privacy. We loved that each bedroom had its own full bathroom and had a great time swimming in the private pool. I would highly recommend staying at the Christian Vila, you won’t be disappointed. The house, views, and Cora and her staff exceeded our expectations. We hope to stay again someday!

Our group of 10 stayed at Cora's villa for a long weekend in May to attend our friend's island destination wedding and had the time of our lives, many thanks to Cora's hospitality! Even though our large group arrived at the airport at different times, Cora arranged for either herself or her staff to come meet us in person and drive with us to the villa. Cora coached us on left-sided driving from the airport and then oriented us to the beautiful villa. Upon entry to the estate, it was obvious the property was impeccably maintained - the decor was lovely, and all the rooms and amenities were exactly as described. The villa is on a hill and the views of the coastline are breathtaking. The property was expansive and all 10 of us had more than enough personal space, while also enjoying the spacious shared common rooms and pool areas. Cora went the extra mile to accompany us to the local grocery store and also took us to a local restaurant!! She gave us plenty of space, though she made herself available by phone to help answer questions about the house or the island, and even allowed us to invite several other family and friends from the wedding to come for a BBQ one evening. This villa has all the amenities of a 5-star hotel but has the warmth of a home. Thank you, Cora, for an amazing vacation experience!

Cora exemplifies everything that I believe a great host should be! She is the epitome of hospitality, as evidenced by her greeting us like family at the airport, getting us familiarized and settled into the villa (with healthy croissant sandwiches, salad, and juices provided after a long day of travel), and offering to and accompanying us to two local grocery stores for necessities. We were extremely comfortable with Cora from the very beginning, and she accompanied us to a local restaurant for delicious local cuisine, as well as coordinated the VIP treatment (reserved parking at a friend's wonderful tea shop) in the chaotic downtown area. She also gave us plenty of space to explore the islands on our own, but offered the assistance of several people by phone (including herself) should we have questions about the villa, the island, etc. The villa is nothing short of phenomenal! The views were simply breathtaking from the veranda, the terrace, …even by the pool! Breakfast on the veranda each day was a real treat! You are maybe one-half to two-thirds of the way up the hillside at the villa, which allows for the benefit of cooling trade winds and a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle below. We can honestly say that we feel not only did we experience a wonderful stay at the villa, but that we have been blessed with a new friend in Cora!

We had a memorable experience at Christian Villa in St. Thomas of the US Virgin Islands. Three of us visited from another island, to "sample" St. Thomas. Christian Villa was the best possible venue, upscale and a bit removed from the commercial bustle of the harbor town of Charlotte Amalie. Yet, it was less than a 10 minute drive to all the hot spots we wanted, the famous Megan's Bay, the restaurants, shopping and nightlife of town, the cruise ship festivities and seaplanes .... as well as the international airport. Its expansive view high above the lovely harbor twinkled with lights, active even at night. The welcoming traditional decor, full of beautiful family heirlooms, crafts and art, was comfortable with lots of delightful surprises such as huge master bathroom with jacuzzi tub only steps away from private balcony. A well-equipped office with WIFI kept us in touch as needed. The kitchen and dining accessories for private meals were comprehensive, lacking nothing. The pool with both sun and shade, and lush landscape all around, was a calm retreat after explorations about St. Thomas island. We would highly recommend these accommodations, especially for a group that wants both fun together and luxury private quarters.

Literally from the moment I messaged Dr. Cora for more information regarding her beautiful property she was prompt, accommodating, and informative. This was my first time booking with Airbnb, thus I felt a bit hesitant, but Dr. Cora answered any questions I had with clarity and accuracy. Upon our arrival in Saint Thomas, Dr. Cora helped us become adjusted to the left side driving, the mountainous roads, and the ins and outs of the property. She met us at the airport and even had sandwiches ready for us at villa! She was always available to answer any questions we had about the property AND about Saint Thomas. The listing description was completely accurate; in fact the property was even more beautiful than the images could even have shown. Dr. Cora has stocked the Christian Villa with everything you get from a hotel and more; hair dryers, shampoo, towels, detergent, pots and pans. This property makes five star hotels look meek. The view from her villa is breathtaking; it is nested high upon one of Saint Thomas hills. It is a luxury, renovated house with traditional St. Thomas charm. Without a doubt, I would stay here again. The convenience of this villa compared to a hotel is unmatched.
