Das Washington Square Carriage House ist ein freistehendes Cottage mit eigenem Eingang im 2. Stock über der Garage. Es befindet sich hinter dem Washington Square Main House. In Savannahs historischen Kutschenhäusern wohnte der Kutschenfahrer der Familie im 19. Jahrhundert über dem Wohnhaus für die Pferde und Kutschen, die er betreute. Das Washington Square Carriage House verfügt über einen begehrten Garagenstellplatz. Es befindet sich in Savannahs historischem Wahrzeichen am malerischen Washington Square, 2 Blocks von der River Street entfernt!
Das Kutschenhaus hat einen offenen Grundriss mit einem komfortablen Loungebereich mit einem Smart-TV. Die voll ausgestattete Küche verfügt über einen Insel-Essbereich mit Platz für 4 Personen. Jedes der 2 Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad. Der hübsche Innenhof bietet eine Oase, in der Sie dem Brunnen lauschen und mit Gästen aus dem Haupthaus plaudern können.

Loved our stay—the location can’t be beat, the beds are comfortable, and the space was very clean. The covered parking spot is a wonderful bonus! We would absolutely stay here again!

We were disappointed with the location of the vrbo. Internet was poor and slow, could not stream TV. Bed made noise whenever you rolled over.
We left a day early.

We had a great time staying here. It was in a very convenient location in the north historic district and super close to the river walk! Most of the things that we wanted to do were within walking distance. I do think some of the Lyft/uber drivers had a hard time figuring out the exact location, but once we started giving the address of a house at the corner, it became easier to direct them to. Overall, would stay here again!

This is a great place to stay to be close to the river street area and the historic district.
Once we parked the truck in the garage it stayed there the whole time as we were able to walk to everything.

Location and parking is amazing. A review stated only small SUV would fit in garage. Requested verification if 3/4 ton truck was good. Suzanne quickly replied, but I was told to recheck listing as small tight alley, and was not going to measure garage. Nothing in list about any of that. Truck fit - alley good !
Small but had what was needed. Plenty of supplies. And close to so much, Pirates Cove, trolley, River Walk. Courtyard was a nice extra. 19 steps to get in but NOT steep. Very easy climb. Charming ! Would stay again.

What a great place to stay. The location is great, within walking distance to just about everything. Our place was very clean and welcoming. One of the best advantages to our stay was the attached garage. You won't go wrong if you stay here.

Stayed at Carriage House for 4 nights. Aside from noise when garage door opens and closes (luckily, it was never late at night or super early in morning) and bedroom facing lane needing room darkening shade or blinds, stay was great! Directions to get to property were wonderful and useful for food delivery and ride share pick ups! Didn’t use courtyard, but guests at main house did. Kitchen was well equipped except for no measuring cups. My friend and I enjoyed strolling around historic Savannah - felt safe in neighborhood of property. Stairs were manageable for us but would definitely be challenging for people with mobility issues.

Great stay with you guys. Location was close and convenient for us. Would stay again. One slight thing, which might have been an oversight, there where only 4 towels and wash clothes for 4 people for 4 nights for the entire stay. So we had to wash towel’s everyday.

We loved our stay at the Carriage House. The location is excellent and within walking distance of everywhere. The property was just as described and very cozy and comfortable. The only issue we had was we were only given one towel per person.
I highly recommend this property and would rent it again.

We loved this property. My mom and had our own rooms and bathroom. Nice living area and back courtyard. Also extremely helpful to have a washer/dryer as this was the tail end of our trip and we were able to do laundry before heading home. Definitely recommend this place! They let us checkin a little early as well. We were coming from Charleston and arrived about 45 min early.

The Carriage House is perfect for either a Couple or a small group of up to 4 pals. We were there for a Girls Weekend. Four of us comfortably shared this perfectly appointed upstairs "apartment." The kitchen had all the features we needed and the host equipped our party with a bag of ice and a pitcher of filtered water for our morning coffee along with 2 packs of coffee. We were incredibly pleased with the location. The Shopping on Broughton Street was only 2 blocks away - an easy stroll back to unload all the goodies we purchased in the boutiques. This spot is also just a short stroll to River Street where you will find all the "must see and do" tours, bars, shops and restaurants. Having a spot in the garage made me feel especially relaxed because I knew my car was safe. I plan to return to Savannah with my little family of 3 next Spring and I know that I will try to book this home for our trip.

This is actually an apartment with a garage. The lane/alley is in such bad condition that a small or low riding car could get damaged. The bedrooms are very small and nowhere in the description of this property is there a mention of the 17-step staircase that you have to take from the ground floor garage up to the actual 2nd floor apartment. This is not an accessible apartment for anyone who has trouble with their hips, knees or legs. I would not recommend this property to anyone I know because of the size and the stairs.

We came to see a comedian at the civic center. Carriage house was adorable and plenty of room for the 3 of us. Close to so many places.

Great location and easy to walk everywhere. Beds were your basic spring mattress and could have been upgraded. Living area chairs are uncomfortable. The kitchen is nice and bathrooms are fine. It was great to have a garage to park in, but warning it's small. A/C works great and linens are good. It was quiet and beautiful location. Nice little place. Would stay again, after all your out exploring not hanging out at the house.

The stay in the carriage house was great. It was clean, as described and easy for two couples to stay with their own full bathrooms. We had some issues checking in and getting ahold of the management, but once sorted through, everything was great. We loved exploring Savannah and enjoyed staying in a comfortable place. The location was perfect and in walking distance to all of the restaurants, landmarks and shops we wanted to go visit. I would recommend.

The property is easy walking to everything, and in a quiet area of the historic district. Morning coffee and the Savannah Bike Tour company and the Olde Pink House for dinner is short walks, as is the River area. The courtyard provides a nice outdoor retreat. Garage parking is a plus! We could not have been happier.

It was a great spot for our girls trip! Just make sure your bag isn’t too heavy since you have to carry it up a full flight of stairs.

The property was smaller than expected but extremely clean and functional. But we spent little time indoors. Had a bit of trouble with the lock on the front door until we got used to pushing on the door. We had a great time.

Great location! Bedrooms are very cosy but fine for a short stay.
Bathrooms are spacious and well appointed. Kitchen was well stocked. Garage is nice but might be a challenge for a large SUV. All in all, a great place for a weekend stay, but would get a little claustrophobic for a longer stay.
