Pictures don’t lie. A truly wonderful home base for an island vacation! Everything you need has been provided and you will love staring out at the view from your rooftop pool. Grab some groceries and enjoy meals in your own space or choose from the wealth of restaurants on the island. Rent a cart or scooter. So worth it! We cannot say enough wonderful things about Jerry and Hector, either😃 They were fantastic to work with. And maybe a little patient too😏 Would definitely recommend and return!

My husband and I rented the condo to celebrate our 5 year anniversary! The condo was advertised. The plunge pool and views were amazing!

Easy arrival, met in person by the helpful property manager who showed us how everything worked. Space was clean and beautiful, kitchen was decently stocked with the basics if you want to cook. You have to be prepared to climb some stairs to get to the unit, but totally worth it for the big payoff: private rooftop patio and infinity pool. To me, the rooftop was unique offering and such an amazing amenity. Completely private and great place to take in the sun or cool off in the pool. Definitely planning to go back

The Sotavento condo was perfect for our first trip to Isla Mujeres. The condo was beautiful and exactly as pictured. The plunge pool was refreshing. Hèctor was very helpful and attentive. We hope to return many times.

Like a 5 star Hotel! The upstairs pool sells the place entirely. We we’re in there for hours just staring out over the ocean! We finally went in to the ACTUAL ocean after 5 days because it was so relaxing! 5 stars, great guys!

We absolutely loved every minute here. The view, the location, the property are all fantastic. Jerry and Hector work diligently to accommodate you and make you feel covetable and relaxed. Hèctor organized transportation including a golf cart for the week and was on hand anytime we had a question. The view from this property is the real win. We stayed in quite a bit more than normal Just to take it in.

Place was incredible. View was just as incredible! And the help from Jerry and Hector was beyond what we could have expected. Plan to come back and stay here again!

Our family booked this lovely condo for our spring break. Unfortunately, the pandemic abruptly halted those plans just as we were leaving for airport. Our host, Jerry, was exceptional in understanding and has allowed us to rebook at a later date once things settle down. Not able to leave a review on accommodations yet but Jerry gets 5 stars!

Super clean, amazing views and privacy on the upper deck. Location was perfect for quieter south side of the island but still lots of options for great food and entertainment. Jerry and Hector are wonderful and ever accommodating!

The condo was clean and everything worked...Jerry was super nice and easy to get in touch with...Check in was a breeze...plunge pool was amazing and the scenery looking over to Cancun was breathtaking....The people on the island are super nice...My family and I had one of the best weeks ever...My son who’s 9 even said he wants to come back every year...Thank you again Jerry for letting us enjoy your condo and have the beat time ever. 😊

Our entire stay exceeded my expectations from the beginning. It was clean, air condition worked well, logistics were very easy, any questions were promptly responded to, and Jerry helped us set up and book any activities we were interested in. Not to mention the view and private roof top pool really set this unit apart. This was mine and my husbands second trip to Isla. We will most definitely be staying in this unit again soon!!!!

Been to Isla many times, but this was our first time staying on the quiet southern end. The condo is very nice and has spectacular views. The owner was responsive and easy to deal with. We will be back.

Jerry's penthouse condo is simply a wonderful island retreat. A nice mix of island quite yet only minutes away from the sands / sounds of North Beach. We would definitely rent again. Rent a golf cart for your trip to give yourself complete flexibility.

We just spend 10 days at Sotavento and had a wonderful stay. Jerry was very responsive and answered any questions we had quickly. The apartment was well equipped - a comfy bed, great blue tooth speaker, nice kitchen; and most importantly, the views from the 2 balconies were outstanding. We loved hanging out in the late afternoon on the upper deck watching the sunsets. We also enjoyed hanging out on the south end of the island away from the crowds at Playa Norte. This year we opted out of having a gold cart for the while vaction and just took taxis - super convenient and fast. We'll be back!

We stayed for a week escaping the snow and cold in Minnesota. Jerry and Hector were extremely accommodating arranging for groceries and a golf cart rental prior to our arrival. The condo is actually brighter than the pictures show and the view from the main living area is amazing. It’s easy to spend your days in the condo and never want to leave. All appliances, plumbing, and AC worked perfectly. The bed was one of the best we have ever slept on. We spent a lot of time on the sun deck and in the private pool. The south end of the island, where this condo is located, is desirable as it is less crowded and quieter than Playa Norte on the north end of the island. A couple things to be aware of: one, there is no elevator and the unit is on the third floor. Lots of stairs which is good exercise but may not work for those with mobility issues. Second there are only a couple English speaking TV channels. Third, the living area furniture has thin cushioning and is not comfortable for lounging on. We love Isla Mujeres and definitely would consider staying here again.

This unit couldn’t have been any better. The hospitality of the owner was second to none. The penthouse with the private infinity was let me just say, extremely nice! Jerry arranged taxi when we needed them, the golf cart rental and the airport to ferry round trip transportation. We did nothing but enjoy! We will be back.

We loved our stay at Sotovento on Isla Mujeres. We really liked being able to cook our own meals and not having to leave the condo unless we wanted to. Waking up every morning to that perfect view was the most amazing thing ever. We also loved hanging out at the private roof top pool and sometimes watching the storms roll in over Cancún. The south end of the island is pretty quiet, but we found places near us that were fun to explore and not over loaded with tourists. We rented a golf cart while we were there and it definitely was essential for making trips around the island and running to the store. Gerry and Hector were very helpful and accommodating. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This condo is situated on the quiet south end of Isla Mujeres, yet only 15 minutes to town and ferry by golf cart or taxi. We used both the golf cart and taxi. The condo was as pictured in the photos and we were met by Hector, Jerry's brother who helped get us settled and provided anything we needed to settle in. The only draw back for some folks would be the Pent House configuration, as there is no elevator and you must take three flight of stairs to reach the unit. The views from condo and the private pool on the 2nd floor are excellent, especially at sunset. All the day workers around the condo complex are warm and friendly and very helpful if you need something.

First class with everything over and above! Exceptional vacation. We will be back. Gerry and Hector were great. Thank you.

We had a great time in this unit. The rooftop pool and the view were phenomenal. This unit is on teh south end of teh island which is what we were looking for, away from the center.

What a wonderful apartment! It has everything you could possibly need and the views from both balconies are out of this world! Jerry and Hector were on hand for any issues or questions throughout our stay. The South of the island is much quieter than the north but we loved this as we were on our honeymoon and wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle. You can jump in a taxi and be in the north in 15 mins for just 100 pesos where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. Book now!

This is absolutely the perfect spot to stay in Isla Mujeres. This condo is absolutely gorgeous, clean, and very private and secure (not that I have ever felt threatened on Isla)! I simply cannot say enough great things about Jerry's place. The view of Cancun and the sunsets in the evenings from either patio/level are to die for! The pool for the facility is beautifully and conveniently located. The private infinity pool was a great spot to sunbathe & relax. Jerry and Hector took care of all of our needs and were easily and readily available to contact when / if needed. Hector even hooked us up with a cart rental which was delivered to the condo. Tequila and snacks were waiting for us upon arrival...a great touch! Do not hesitate in renting this! You will not be disappointed! Truly one of the best places we have stayed on our travels! Beautiful condo! We have stayed many places on Isla over the years and the balcony here is by far the most spectacular view we have had! The rooftop pool was a peaceful retreat from busy Playa Norte yet a quick taxi ride had our feet in the sand! Hope to return soon.
