Too Many bed in the Room

I did not like that the door code given by them had no mention of the room number. So I had to call them to find that out. Even emails sent by them did not mention this information. It was only available in a separate app link sent by them in the email which I missed. It would be great if they could include this info in email or text messages as well.

The hosts were so nice and kind. Everything in the hostel was environmentally friendly. I felt really comfortable staying at the hostel.

My room's door needed a lot of strength to pull so I had to ask for help from one of my roommates at first.

Location: within walking distance of everything that I wanted to see.

Room, bed and kitchen are good. The space is decorated with care and style. Quiet and near the center and market.

Emails and communications are mainly generic emails. From the pictures, I expected to meet some hosts but every things is made to self service. I send a message to the host and this was never answered or acknowledge. Sad for a youth hostel.

Double bed was comfortable and the location was walkable to the station and well located to city retail, university and several attractions such as the natural history museum, art museum, and Aalto2. My room included a small fridge. Showers had good private space for changing and were clean and modern. Kitchen was clean and well provisioned. There was a laundry downstairs

Every thing was fine really🙂 but the women’s toilets were very tight to manoeuvre in and the policy of bringing your hand towel to reduce paper towel consumption frustrating as I kept forgetting mine. The open air basins in the hallway were a bit strange - this is where you have to brush your teeth and clean your face - normally prefer to do this in privite

The facilities were clean and well equipped, everything necessary was provided. I also very much appreciated the emphasis on being environmentally responsible.

The interior design was not to my taste.

So clean and cozy, better than many 4 star hotels. Close to the center, silent and calm. Comfy beds.

Bed was comfortable. The bed was actually the only comfortable thing in the apartment.

The apartment is very outdated and worn. They had not even bother to paint e.g. kitchen cabinets. This was like a granma’s place or museum, except even granma have better Wi-Fi nowadays. Wi-Fi was very poor. There was no noise isolation at all, one could easily heard and understand what they discussed in other apartments in the same building. Arriving to this apartment was some kind of reverse escape room game, there was plenty of key holders, PIN keypads and one has to guess the right one as well as the correct door. They send many times hostile messages, in which they said, that if you do not exactly follow all their rules, you have to pay some ridiculous penalty fee. The price should be around 50% to be even near the quality. It can be easily seen, that nobody cares to maintain this place.

Best hostel i've stayed so far.

Amazing clean and well equipped family hostel with a good location close to the university. Kitchen is clean and has all the essentials. Coffee and tea is available. Bathroom and showers are clean, bed linen and mattress are very comfortable. Definitely a good option for short and long stays.

Unexpectedly big room with a sofa and very pleasant infrared-kind light. Good organic coffee and tea for free, as well as a machine for quick coffee for a small fee. Very centrally located mext to reataurants and center. Library with lots of books. Smooth check in-process with a codelock. Generally a welcoming and calm atmosphere.

There was a stone floor in the room, which was bit uncomfortable. No hand towel in the bathroom.

Extremely cosy and cute place to stay. Smart concept, where customer experience was top notch! Would not change anything.

Coffee machine was out of order during my first day of stay, which was pity but I got my coffee from K-market nearby.

The kitchen

I especially liked the heated floor of the room.

There was some leftover food and rubbish in the fridge of the room from a previous guest.

No breakfast was provided at the facility but there was tea and coffee and good kitchen facilities. The location was also good as the property was well located to the University of Jyväskylä.

The lack of breakfast. It would be great if a facility such as this could offer breakfast to clients as well.

The location is right in the downtown, a lot of restaurant and pub still silent inside. Some restaurants open till midnight as well. The hostel is clean on every place. Nice interior design. Big dinner room and comfy. Spacious and full feature kitchen. A gaming corner.

The door seal of my room is deteriorated, it should be replaced to maintain sound proofing.

The kitchen is amazing!

Such a nice and modern hostel with excellent facilities. Definitely exceeded our expectations. Our room and the common areas were all clean and the location was excellent. Nothing to complain about!
